Chapter Text
Branzy had no clue how he ended up like this, stuck in an unknown place with possibly the most dangerous man on the planet. Seriously, he was a simple café worker living paycheck to paycheck trying not to fall miserably.
Wait… that was a lie. He knew how he ended up in a tricky situation just because he wanted to be a kind person. Funny how that can happen.
In this world a small percentage of people (around 10 to 15%) were born with special abilities. Those people weren't excepted into today's society like how they used to when big companies needed stronger people to work they heads off back in the good(bad) old days. Nowadays they'll just be throw into jail if they were seen using them, or get away with a fine or a warning.
It wasn't all that bad - well - until some genius made a drug that can temporary give you the power the original user posseses.
So, if you happened to be born into this unfortunately timeline with said powers you'll be killed at first sight or get dragged into some random building and be turned into a factory to produce the drug. Both are bad on their own. It was worse that the stronger the users power was the chances of that happening because more likely.
Branzy was sadly born in this small procentage as he posesed some kind of healing ability - a power rare on its own - that when used it leaves faint marks in the shape of roses in full bloom (I hope everybody had seen how a rose in full bloom looks like) on the skin that was injured. They are a lot of side effects to this and limits. He cannot heal a person that is dead or on the bed of dying as Branzy himself will die. Side effects range from being tiered to full on permanent marks and eventually passing out.
He can easily hide his power so he won't risk getting in any trouble but that also means he can't have a nice job and place. He had to lay low if he wanted to survive.
That's the reason he's so unfortunately tied to a chair after being kidnapped by an organization that wants to harvest his power, or at least that's what he assumes.

Branzy was making his way home after another day being worked overtime even if he wasn't getting paid - void, how much he missed the old owner. It was dark outside which ment taking the buss home as the crime rates have been higher than usual even for such a shit city he lived at.
The buss stopped for a minute letting passenger off and letting passengers on. He put on his headphones at this point as there was finally space to breathe but not for long - which made Branzy wanna jump out of the window into the usually packed street.
Somebody sat directly next to him. Perfect. Just perfect. But oh damn the other man was just a bit to close. To close for comfort and Branzy sense of security that he had left.
The man had blue eyes, blond hair, you get the point of him being just the plain, stereotypical, "perfect", year simple white man that for the beauty standards that are far to toxic. He was dressed in casual wear black sweatpants and a black tanktop and oh void he was a sweaty one.
Probably came from a gym, were Branzy's first thoughts on the man as he noticed the backpack that was lazily put next to his sit - which, by the way, very rude of him.
Branzy's second thought? This guy's a creap. Which blended in with his 3rd though that was pure panic.
At some point the guy placed his dirty and sweaty palm on Branzy's leg, the action made Branzy take off his headphones, pausing the music before anything, and letting them fall neatly around his neck. It could have been an honest mistake!… Right?…
"Excuse me?… Could you please not touch me?" He spoke trying too not show any real panic or emotion that actively blooming inside him. The other man said nothing but moved his arm a bit going from Branzy's knee to his thigh - oh how fast he sat up and got his bag and got the fuck out because thankfully the buss stopped to drop and pick up more people.
There was still quite a journey back to his apartment but he'll rather do that then be stuck with such a nasty person that should be in jail. He knows there were people before him. He knows he won't be the last. That's how the law worked here sadly.
The night was warm for spring and it was very welcomed as he stupidity didn't bring a jacket. The sky was covered with stars behind the clouds that hid the moon. The streat lights didn't do much as they were placed too far apart and some didn't even work that well or at all.
Branzy clutched his bag silently hoping that nothing was going to happen. Just head low and hyper aware of his surroundings. Nothing happened besides a cat that started following him.
Wait, what? When did this little one start following him? Where did it even appear from?
He paused and so did the cat.
"Hi little one" Branzy softly spoke as he crouched down to be at the same level as the very happy orange cat that was awfully unaware of the dangers that humans posesed.
Suddenly the cat took of running in am alleyway that they passed but looked back to make sure he was following her - at least that's what Branzy assumed. Nothing could go wrong… right?
He got up and, with way to much hesitation, he followed the cat who seemed pleased with his actions.
The alleyway was stripped of all lights making it pitch black. At this point Branzy just wanted to go home - oh void what is that smell? It's like rusty or more like copper but still metallic like. Holly mother of void that's blood.
Branzy froze as he's eyes finally got used to the dark as he has the blood splashes on the walls as the smell became stronger.
He could hear the cat as he mowed from somewhere in front of him dapper into the dark somewhere to his right. Branzy could follow or back out and never think about this again. Now if he was sane he'll pick the second option but he wasn't - at least based on the opinion on the people surrounding him.
He - painfully slow - made his way to the cat and crouched down ones more when he noticed that the cat haven't moved a centimeter. Branzy could faintly make out a silhouette laying limp on the ground covered in blood, at this point he debated if he needed to take out his phone as a flashlight but then it wasn't quite smart because what if someone sees them.
He placed his hand on the injured person's chest and focused, focused hard. He haven't used he's power in a long time for the fact he didn't wanna be thrown in a lab or jail - he honestly doesn't know which one is worst. Oh dear void did he feel rusty.
The next minutes were a mess of blures and pain for Branzy. The man was very injured making Branzy almost pass out before he could finally breath that the other wasn't actively dying - void, he really should have trained. Everything hurt. Everything stung. But he was so close he knew he couldn't give up now.
Eventually the person laying limp wasn't actually dying and by the time he realized that he almost passed out - well he just sit on the ground half asleep so there's not much of a difference. Well at least the cat was happy and even sat curled up on Branzy's chest! He couldn't have been more happier then he was in that second.
Little did Branzy know that the person he helped had gained consciousness at some point in time and was deadpan steering at him and chose to not move a mussel. He could stare because of the darkness and Branzy's lack of self awareness.
The mystery man was quick on his feet and reached for a weapon that was attached to the belt. Branzy - very dumbly - stared at him for 30 seconds before panicked began to settle in which only made him only not lay anymore and only sit clutching the cat in his arms.
"Huh…" The mysterious man spoke as he analyzed his surroundings.
"C-chill down man! I-i was trying to h-elo you!" Let's say the Branzy cringed when he heard how bad his voice broke mid sentence (totally not me accidentally misspelling help…). But, only when he saw the mask attached to the other's belt did he realized that he was probably going to die. ("Is she going to survive?" "Probably not" ahh)

Clownpierce. The (probably and most likely) dangerous man in the whole city. No identity connect to him. No records of anything. Some say that those who see his face ended up getting killed.
Possession of any kind of powers: unknown. Well to the public. But you aren't the public dear reader, aren't you?
Power: somewhere between supper strength and something that let's his be extremely aware of his surroundings like a perfect mental map that also allows him to also know if people are nearby. (I have no clue if there's an actual definition out there) He doesn't use the map often but the other two are always activated agents his will.
Weakness: overusing the map could make him pass out, it can overwhelm him if there's to much happening at ones, headaches, sickness, you get the point. Hot weather is also there for unrelated reasons.

It was the one and only clown mask, the true "mastermind" behind the crime rates in the city that ironically doesn't have a name. Satin himself in the words of the elderly people, the person who brings hell on earth based on the word of the youth.
Clownpierce. He was just right in front of Branzy standing there - half asleep, half to alarm - trying to understand something. Branzy didn't know what.
The cat just meowed at the murderous man, a soft sound that just didn't fit the tense atmosphere that was created. She struggles out of Branzys hold and when to the other just to put at his feet.
Clownpierce calm down for a minute before taking his mask and putting it on still holding that knife - void plese put it away - and picked the cat with one arm.
Branzy was left baffled on the ground as the other left without exchanging any more words. He did sit there for a few more minutes before he got up to continue walking back to his apartment.
★
Clownpierce was on a random roof of an abandoned building holding the cat in front of him confused out of his mind. Far out the public eye, far from any cameras.
"What did you do." Not a question even if it most likely needed to be. Not angry, not shocked, just confusion from the strange action the cat had pulled. Well his cat, her name was Orange a funny story he would never care to elaborate on when people wondered.
"Meow" well, what did he expect? It's a cat, a cat who looked like she was smirking. He just put her down and put a hand in his hair.
Fuck, his clothing was ripped and stained with dried blood in the palaces the injury sat - wait.
"What the -… is he a heller?" He moved his arm from his hair and looked at the palm, the glove was cut exposing skin that had faint marks in the shape of flowers, most likely rosees but Clown wasn't a flower expert so he had no clue.
"Oh." He paused and he looked at Orange who looked straight at the mask "I see what you did."
