His lucky charm

Summary:

It was as if they were both scared that the other would leave them anytime soon, especially after the many betrayals they both faced— they were scared, scared that one day, when they awoke, no one would be by their side.

As the sun slowly set, and the light from the window slowly dissipated, Jude continued to stare at Sharp’s hair, caressing the golden flow of strands as he start to slowly close his eyes, his last view being Sharps delicate feature as they both drifted off to sleep.
or Sharplow fluff because I miss them

Work Text:

Word around the server is saying, that a certain trapper has a secret hidden right under everyone noses, a secret hidden under his sleeves. Honestly, does it even count as big secret when it's not even that peculiar, its not anything dangerous like a hidden trap that could kill everyone or a secret super power, its just something he’s been hiding for a very long time.

Tai has tried to find out the said secret numerous times, and well safe to say, he also fell straight towards a dripstone numerous times.

“Judeeeeee , come on!!! what could be such a hidden secret that everyone's been talking about!" Tai complained as he picked up his loot right outside Jude’s base— in which the rabbit hybrid graciously gave back to him.

“You’ve been asking for weeks, and my answer will remain the same. No..” Jude replied as he turned and walked back to the entrance of his base, leaving Tai behind, once again devastated that his plan of bothering and annoying Jude to give out his secret failed.

“AT LEAST GIVE ME A CLUE!” he yelled out towards the rabbit.

“back,” was Jude’s very nonchalant useless, stupid reply. Because what does that even mean? like that’s such a stupid clue.

Tai walked away with a furious stomp, he’s so sick of Jude and him hiding shit from everyone— they weren’t friends or anything of that matter that would be the reason on why Jude wouldn’t keep a secret from him, hell they aren’t even team mates, and Jude only trust his team mates—

Of fucking course! Parker has to know something, he’s not just teamed with Jude, he’s also kinda Judes only friend in the server, because that guy has beef with literally everyone for absolutely no reason at all.

With a new plan in mind, Tai went off towards the forest, because last he checked, Jude asked Parker to get him some wood for their new trap.

Walking around the vast forest of the server he finally heard a familiar sound of a player chopping down trees, cautiously approaching the other he made sure to show both his hand to indicate he’s not planning to attack him in any sort of way.

“Tai? what are you doing here for?” Parker asked tilting his head to the side— a habit he picked up from hanging out way too much with Jude.

“uh would you mind spilling your best friends secret that everybody on the server has been talking about.,” it sounded more like a statement than a question

letting out a small sigh, Parker placed the oak wood inside a chest and faced Tai again, “listen, Jude already told me that this kinda thing would happen, so I’m just gonna tell you what he told me; permanent,” Parker said as he crossed his arms in front of his chest

“seriously?!? another stupid clue that makes absolutely no sense! it doesn’t even connect together,” Tai screamed in frustration

“I know dude, but I’m getting more benefit for doing this so….” Parker replied

“but like, you do know what the secret is right?”

“oh, absolutely,”

“can you tell me then?”

“No.”

Walking around spawn, and looking for any traps that's already been sabotaged to gather up the useful materials, Judes mind started to wander, as he aimlessly walked around, and even ignoring the traps he was looking for.

Sharp, he hasn’t seen him since forever, the last time they saw each other was during a random fight they had when they accidentally saw each other outside a cave where they would often mine for materials together— when they were still team mates.

And without even realizing it, Jude found himself in front of a little cottage just right close by to the spawn area, close enough to be an emergency hideout, hidden far enough for it be undiscovered by anyone who doesn’t know what they’re looking for.

Fully expecting no one to be inside the house, Jude went in without even any worry in his bones, taking off his large hoodies and hanging it to the clothing rack right beside the entrance— as if he was doing his usual routine.

Looking over the living room, you could spot a newly used cup, indicating someone was just here, minutes before Jude arrived. Picking up the cup and walking over to the kitchen, he placed the cup on the sink and walked over to a familiar room— a room he has acquainted himself with, one filled with memories he would cherished for a lifetime.

Opening the door as slowly as he could, he could smell the soft woody smell of Sharpness’ shampoo, signs that the blond just finished showering and doing his very long hair care routine before he promptly fell asleep— inside a house that he deemed safe that he would let his guard down, even with the possibility of any player showing up to probably take his life.

Sharp stirred in the bed, probably feeling the new presence inside the room, as he quickly sat up from the bed, sword already in his hand and pointing towards the entrance of the door, purely acting on his muscle memory.

Jude stared at the sight in front of him, Sharpness Conexion in all his glory, with a messy braid on his hair that’s been ties using a purple ribbon, with a disheveled look and wearing a hoodie that clearly doesn’t match his style, as it was purple all over.

“hey, Sharp, sorry if I woke you,” Jude explained as he walked over to where the blond was, avoiding the pointy sword and walking over to his side to guide him in where they will be resting.

And Sharp, as if he was a puppet controlled by JudeLow himself merely followed and sat down next to the bunny, and as they sat down, Jude grabbed Sharp’s face and pinched the cheek, as if checking if you’re awake or not.

When Jude decided to eventually wrap his arms around Sharp’s back, the blond seemingly collapse and gave out all his strength, in favor to just seek the comfort of a certain bunny.

“Did something happen? you looked like you were quickdropped,” Jude asked, continuing to rubbed soothing circle on his back

“Nothing much bun, I’m just really tired from the fighting,” Sharp murmured as he slowly muzzled his face to Jude’s neck, as if he was trying to hide himself from the world, seeking comfort in Jude’s hold.

“Then lets sleep off our tiredness,” Jude replied as he wrapped his arms around Sharps waist and pulling him impossibly closer than before, causing their body to tangle into each other, as they both tightly held into one another.

As the sun began to seep through the window of the room, sharp stirred awake as he noticed the warm beside him was already gone, patting along the bed and only feeling the warm residue, Sharp was getting dissapointed—- at himself for thinking that he would stay, at Jude for making Sharpness think that they were still fine.

But as he cracked his eyes open, a small purple thing made its way inside the bedroom, carrying a tray of food while wearing the most ridiculous apron known to man, one that has a print saying ‘kiss the trappa’ on it, and what was worse, he wasn’t wearing any shirt underneath as well.

Sure, Sharpness was toned, but he also made sure to keep the muscles and fat balance, therefore he’s not really built like muscle and stuff— Jude on the other hand has more prominent one, from carrying trap materials all day, but it’s still just minimal muscle mass.

“Oh you’re awake, princess,” Jude teased as he placed the tray of food in front of Sharp

“don’t call me that,” Sharp replied as he grabbed some utensil to start digging in for the free breakfast that Jude had made for him.

“Ye, yea, I’mma take a shower cause you didn’t let me get up last night,” Jude complained as he turned his back away from Sharpness and taking off the ugly apron.

From here, Sharp could see the full extent to the secret that Jude has been hiding from the server, a large back tattoo of a sword followed by small intricate swirls and patterns, some forming a heart some flowing like the wind, and if you know where to look— the name Sharpness was written, right above the sword handle, hidden by the swirling patter, disguised as being part of the design. Similar to what they are, barely concealed but still, lingering.

“Jude, do you still love me?” A question that came out of nowhere from Sharpness.

The rabbit paused from his track, seemingly contemplating what to say or what to do, before he faced Sharpness once again.

“I never did stop.”
