Chapter Text
Cosmo was always a quiet one, He liked quiet places, so thats why he moved into the middle of the forest, where it was always snowing, cold and bitter.
Cosmo liked the cold and bitterness from the forest, most people wouldn't live in such a place, but he did.
Cosmo was in his cabin, sitting on his couch with his legs crossed, reading a book while sitting infornt of the fireplace for warmth. Cosmo reached out for his cup of tea that was on his table next to it, but when he pulled it up to his mouth to drink it, he found it was empty.
Cosmo sighed, getting up and closing his book. "Well, looks like I have to get more." Cosmo mumbled, he walked over to his kitchen, opening a cabinet and searching through it.
"Hmm.." Cosmo paused. "I don't have any more?.." He raised a eyebrow, grabbing a chair to search further in. "I swear I had more.." He sighed. "Guess I'll have to search for more of the herbs outside." Cosmo walked over to a stand, putting on gloves, a coat, a scarf, and boots.
He walked towards the front door, grabbing the handle. He breathed in and exhaled, getting ready for the harsh, endless snow.
Cosmo opened the door, the snow wildly hitting his face, he put the hood of his coat on his head, and pulled up his scarf. Walking outside and into the endless blizzard.
Though the snow was always endless in this forest, things still grew. One of those things was that of which Cosmo needed for his tea usually.
——
Cosmo was currently out in the forest- His boots sinking into the deep snow, Looking around- He couldn't find the herbs he needed at all.
"..." Cosmo sighed. "I had checked everywhere I've found these things before." Cosmo mumbled under his breath. "Plus.. it's starting to get late.. and colder." He shivered, he looked up at the sky, though it was filled with clouds- he could tell it was getting darker after living here so long.
——
After awhile of searching, Cosmo decided to go back home before he one, got lost, and two, freeze to death.
He was walking home- When he suddenly spotted something in the snow. When he came over to ' it ' he found it, was a actual person, they were half buried in the snow.
"Holy shit.." Cosmo mumbled under his breath, crouching down, looking at the person. He brought a hand to their face, even through his gloves he could tell that they were freezing cold, and it'd looked like they've been here for hours.
But.. Something told Cosmo there was still hope to save this stranger.
So like any normal person would do, Cosmo picked up the body of the person. "Darn- you're heavy.." He grumbled, throwing them over his shoulder while the feet were left dragging in the snow.
After awhile, Cosmo and the unconscious stranger finally arrived at Cosmo's cabin.
——
Cosmo turned the knob of the door, walking in. He shook the snow off him, and his boots, he then took them off, along with his scarf and gloves. He brought the stranger to his armchair next to the couch, staring at them for a moment.
They had a long blue and white scarf, ( i have no idea what sprout is wearing ) with a star in the middle of the scarf.. He also had stars on his face, and yellow boots. "You're kinda funny lookin.." Cosmo mumbled under his breath- after awhile at staring at the guy, he discovered that it was quite chilly in the cabin.
He turned around to look at the fireplace, seeing how the fire was quickly running out. He got up and went to the firewood holder, getting some logs and putting them in- along with some coal to make it last longer.
He sighed and sat down on the couch, watching the fire, as he glanced outside- he saw the endless darkness of the forest outside. It'd be horrible if he got lost out there when he was searching.
Cosmo yawned, laying down and closing his eyes- forgetting that he had a unconscious person sitting on his arm chair that could of done anything to him while he was asleep.
Oh well.
