Chapter Text
The group sat on the couches, Gangle gently sketching the base of a random character. Zooble sat next to her, watching her draw patiently. Kinger, Ragatha and Pomni sat on the middle couch, chatting about any new Adventures Caine might come up with. Jax laid on the couch to the left, alone and staring at the roof of the circus. Pomni glanced towards Jax, trying to gauge out his thoughts, but he didn’t return her gaze. Her soft smile faded quickly and she turned her attention back to the ragdoll who was gleefully talking about her adventure ideas.
It didn’t take long before the loud host of the circus, Caine suddenly spawned in front of them. Zooble rolled their eyes with a groan, looking up at him like the others.
“HELLO my chocolate drizzled cinnamon buns!! Today’s Adventure is gonna- “
“Well, hey! Who’s the new jester?” Jax suddenly sat up and pointed at a short, sun schemed Jester.
Everyone whipped their heads at the newcomer, shocked a new human had gotten into the Circus. It was a rare sight to see new people, especially since pomni was relatively new too.
“WOWOWOWOW! A NEW HUMAN? WE NEED THE PERFECT ADVENTURE FOR THEM!” Caine yelled as he quickly flew towards them.
The new jester stumbled back a little, looking between the others and Caine with fearful eyes. The jester was around pomni height, a little taller maybe. They had a loonnggg jester hat that went down to their ankles, but didn’t touch the floor. They had big neck frills and a bow in the centre that mostly covered their mouth. Their jester suit was sleeveless but they had a detached pagoda sleeve, their fingers accessorised with many rings.
Their lower half had a ribbon tail that had panicked and curled around their thigh. Their legs had socks that split at the top and had a corset style at the top, ribbon cross-crossing melodically. They mainly were white, orange, yellow and sprinkles of brown.
Their face had half open eyes with dark blue eyes, their cheek had a circle of blush with a spiral in it. Their mouth, as said before, was covered by the large bow. They had two short strands of hair at the top of their head with a curl.
They stared at the group that stared back at them, completely silent yet looking terrified. Pomni slowly walked closer, gesturing for the other to back away.
“Hello..” She said softly, tilting her head
The Jester clasped their hands together and pulled them apart, a scroll like paper suddenly appearing between their hands.
‘Where am I?’ was written in actually readable cursive
“Oh they’re mute..you’re in the Digital circus! That’s Ragatha, gangle, zooble, kinger..Jax. And I’m pomni.” Pomni smiled softly, earning some trust from the jester and a glare from Jax.
“AND IM CAINE! THE RING LEADER OF THIS CIRCUS!!” Caine yelled, once again getting real close to the new jester. Bubble appeared next, also close to the jester.
“Don’t forget to tell them about daddy bubble!”
“Don’t..don’t call yourself that.” Caine muttered, glancing at bubble nervously.
