Chapter Text
Bam woke up and rubbed his eyes. He stretched his arms up towards the celling. As he sat up, he heard the sounds of the water gently touching the shore. Birds chirped happily. BANG! His door slammed open, as Mellow burst into the room.
"Bam!" he wailed urgently.
The small, pink, man answered tiredly. "Mellow, it's hardly morning."
"I know, and I'm so sorry to wake you but..." Mellow hesitated. This piqued Bam's interest.
"But what?"
"I... I lost the button."
"What button."
"The button that cdot gave to me. He asked me to protect it."
"What's so special about a button? It doesn't take much to craft one."
Mellow looked Bam in the eyes. "You can't tell anyone about this, okay."
Bam looked back with trusting eyes. "I promise."
"The button I lost is the same one that started the server."
Bam widened his eyes. "Really?"
"Yes. Can you please help me find it? I can't let cdot down."
"You can count on me. I'll go recruit some people."
"Thanks, Bam. Just remember, you can't tell anyone."
Bam nodded and the two exited the small house. Bam went to the nearest place, which was Danno's. He descended down the long waterfall. His footsteps echoed throughout the large, cobble room. Danno was still lying in bed. Bam slowly approached and gently tapped his shoulder. "Danno. Danno wake up," he whispered. No response. He tried a little louder. "Danno." Yet another failed attempt. Bam yelled loudly in his ear. "DANNO WAKE UP!" He jolted awake.
"Bam! What the h-heck are you doing here?"
"I'm trying to find Mellow's lost button. Can you help?"
Danno gave a puzzled expression. This did not seem like the type of thing you wake someone up for, but he complied. "Of course."
The two went up the waterfall. The light shone down on them as they ascended. Danno squinted and shielded his eyes from the sun. Mellow met them on the surface, his demeanor much calmer.
"Hey guys. I found the button."
Danno's head turned in shock. "What?"
Mellow replied, "Yeah turns out I put it in the wrong chest."
"So you're telling me I woke up at like five o'clock in the morning for nothing?"
"Yeah pretty much. See ya, Danno. See ya, Bam."
Danno looked down at Bam, who looked up innocently. "Well, I guess I might as well start the day..." Just in that moment, Datchia came up from Danno's house with his bed in hand.
"Good morning, Danno. I bet you won't be needing this anymore!"
"Datchia, come back with my bed!"
