Mane’s gone, Lomedy’s gone, Wemmbu’s gone, even Eggchan is gone. There’s no one left, no one left for you.
I failed everyone, no one will ever stay by my side. It’s okay though, I’m a solo player, it’s okay— right? It is okay, I don’t care about anyone else…But I do…
Flame had a belt chain he always wore no matter what, a very important belt chain. It was just a simple gold chain, but it was the charms that meant everything to Flame; he would never show it, ever. But he knows it meant more to him than his sword. He circled the charms with his finger while slowly walking towards the kitchen.
An orange charm with white claw marks, always the first one, one Flame cherished the most, his dearest brother, the one that was by his side since Flame could remember. ManePear, the first person Flame lost, he was the first by Flame’s side but also the first to leave his side. I miss him so much. Why can’t I just have my big brother back. Im sorry for being a bad brother.
He had entered the kitchen leaning against the counter, scanning the place until his eyes landed on the knife block.
A gold wheat charm, Flame’s best friend, the one that saw him as a person and not a weapon. Though he couldn’t fight by Flame’s side, he was always there after fights, healing Flame’s injuries, always hanging out with him after battles, and keeping Flame sane. I shouldn’t have come back to your farm, I’m sorry, you’re in jail because of me, your mace is gone because of me. I’m so sorry, Lomedy.
Flame walked towards the knife block, stopping right in front of it, his hand hovering above the knives before it landed on the sharpest one.
A gold crown with purple gems charm, Flame’s greatest rival but also his greatest ally. Whenever Flame needed a partner to fight an outnumbered battle, he always knew who to run to. Wemmbu made every fight enjoyable. Stupid purple blob with that stupid eye always following you. You left me, I don’t even know where you are anymore, every fight just drains me, fighting doesn’t excite me anymore. Please come back.
Flame took the knife out and walked back out to the living room before sitting on the ground back against the wall, gripping the knife until his knuckles turned white.
A sliver trident charm, a betrayer, but Flame’s ex-best friend, even though he didn’t stay, the memories with him stayed and haunted Flame. All the memories made before everything went south. All the good memories. I fucking hate you, you left me to die. But even now, I would rather be with you than with no one. Would you betray me again Jaden?..
The knife did one quick swipe, a blood trail following after it. It hurt less than Flame thought, it made him feel alive again, it allowed him to feel something again.
A gold and red bone, Flame’s greatest companion, when Flame was alone, he was always there. He kept him company no matter what time. But even now, he was gone, just like everyone. Ashen bro, I miss you so much, I shouldn’t have brought you to the battle, I always know you were strong but— you could’ve lived a longer life. It’s all my fault you’re dead now.
When Flame finished, he had fresh crimson blood flowing down from deep cuts on his arm. Blood beaded on the more shallow cuts. His arm was numb now, Flame knew he should bandage the cuts before he gets caught, but there was no one to catch him, so he let it flow and bleed out. Flame’s blindfold was soaked in tears long ago, but he couldn’t bother taking it off.
Please just come back, I’m sorry for everything I’ve done, for everyone I’ve killed. I’m so sorry I don’t want to be alone anymore, please bro.
Flame was shaking and sobbing into his knees at this point. The last time he cried like this, Mane was there to hug him and tell him he was it was ok, now he’s gone. No one was here to hold him. No one was there to sit by him. No one was there anymore. Flame eventually drifted off to sleep, dropping the knife beside him.
