Fiona had grown up around weird people (me), so she was bound to be weird. The people around her enjoyed this thing called anime, which usually has insane plotlines. In her household, Manga is also frequently read, which is basically just an anime in book form.
All of this made her end up in this situation. She was talking to another cat in her neighborhood — Minou — and they were discussing on whether they think yuri or yaoi is better.
Fiona preferred yaoi. That's probably because she never read yuri before, though she likes the relationship dynamics in yaoi. Well, she can't read, but let's put that aside for now.
Their discussion nearly turned into a heated argument;
She went on to explain her point: "It's yaoi obviously. It's just so romantic and—" but she was IMPOLITELY interrupted by her friend Minou: "But yuri has such beautiful writing, their relationships are way more often actually fleshed out, but your yaoi is just porn without plot!"
Oh man... That hurt Fiona's feelings. Yaoi can be nice too, you know?
While they continued on and on, she felt odd, like she was being watched — and then she noticed the most obvious eavesdrop in existence. The light colored cat with gray spots and a hitler-like beard (I'M SO SORRY I CAN'T SAY IT DIFFERENTLY) didn't seem like he would be very kind, due to his resting bitch face, but he jumped into the argument and sided with yuri!
Really, what is so much better about yuri?
Fiona almost wants to try it for herself, but she knows she'll be too lazy to read it.
