Luffy sat comfortably on the wooden bench in the park. Today, his brothers wanted to go to the mall, Luffy was still small. His brothers were ten years old, but Luffy was only seven and didn't find fun to roam around the mall looking for stuff like clothes or shoes, so he was always left in the kid daycare. That's why he was sitting here. The cute boy who lived down the street just found him and told him to stay while he looked for his papa.
His hands were full of candies and he had superhero bandaids on his knees, not too far away, Sabo and Ace were running towards him, looking exasperated and scared, and dragging some bags along.
“Ah!” Luffy giggled, waving his tiny hands to his brothers. “Ace! Sabo! Why are you two running? Grandpa caught you guys stealing again?”
“You! You brat!” Ace was the first to reach Luffy, and punched his head, breathless. “We were dead worried about you, you know?!”
“You were?” Luffy looked at them, shocked. “But I was here the whole time!”
“You idiot!” Sabo hit Luffy's head as well, looking mad. “We left you in the ball pool in the mall! How did you end up here?!”
In fact, Luffy was very far from the mall, he was obediently at the park on the outside of the mall instead, the green area was quiet and calm, and Sabo found Luffy in no time.
“That hurts!” Luffy groaned in pain, his big round eyes tearing up. “A cute boy took me on a date!.. aw...”
“Don't lie!” Ace punched him again, only to be hit by a hard candy Luffy had in hands.
“It's true!” Luffy whined, caressing the bumps in his head. “I was bored in that daycare so I left to look for you guys, but a cute boy came to me instead! His eyes shone like bronze!”
Sabo sighed, not letting Ace hit Luffy once more, instead, he sat next to Luffy, encouraging the younger boy to talk.
“Yeah? Who was that boy?”
“Uh? Torao!” Luffy giggled, happy. “He saw me next to those weird bra stores and asked if I was alone. But he was so! So handsome!” Luffy smiled, his cheeks turning rose. “He has those cute white dots on his body! didn't look like he was from Foosha, you know?”
“Dots? like.. dogs? or cows? dots? Aw!” Ace frowned when Sabo hit him.
“Mn.” Sabo nodded, staring at Luffy, who was eating expensive candies. The type that is only seen in those fancy chocolate stores. “So he took you? Away from the mall”
“I walked to him and said, Je't aime!” Luffy smiled proudly, “Means cute in German!”
“Ah..” Sabo blinked, incredulous and Ace laughed his ass off, wiping laughing tears from his eyes. “I see.. He told you that?”
“No!” Luffy shook his head, too proud of himself “I learned it on my own! He was so red when I said it! So he took me to eat some candies! He's super into me too!”
“Or he was embarrassed for you..!” Ace choked on his own saliva while laughing. Sabo quickly slapped his brother, upset.
“Luffy-ya.” A soft voice came from behind, Ace and Sabo turned to face a boy not much older than them, accompanied by a blonde tall man. “My dad said he can take you home, but I see you already found your brothers.”
It was a short boy, no older than twelve years old, he had vitiligo covering his arms and half of his face, he had short black hair and had golden eyes. The man beside him, blonde and tall, had a sweet smile on his lips and wore a heart printed shirt.
“Oh. He really has dots!” Ace choked, impressed. “That's sick!”
“Ace!” Sabo looked at his brother with an unhappy expression. “Don't you think this can be a medical condition?!”
“Ah! Torao!” Luffy jumped from the bench as quick as the wind, jumping on the other boy's arms and giving him a bear hug, the other boy squirmed and complained, but didn't push Luffy away “You're back! You see? My brothers just found me! They were asking a lot of questions about you! My brothers found me so I'm okay now!” Luffy giggled, finally letting Law go.
“You sure?” Law frowned, looking uncertain.
“Yeah!” Luffy giggled, patting law's arm. “So don't worry, ok? Torao? We will see each other another day!”
“Okay.. I guess.” Law shrugged, but easily let Luffy go. “See you some day!”
“Bye bye, Torao!” Luffy hugged the boy once more, this time, kissing Law's cheeks like his family always did to him. “Je't aime!”
Law choked on his own saliva, his cheeks reddened and the man behind him laughed loudly, Luffy looked back and his brothers also looked exasperated.
The blond man quickly dragged Law away, carrying him in his arms easily while they muttered things Luffy didn't quite hear, but he waved goodbye while his brothers sighed loudly behind him.
“Je't aime? Law, you charmer!”
“I didn't do a thing..” Law answered, blushing. “I think he thinks I'm French for some reason..”
