The last group in the shared room arrived
"Dream of me! Hello we are Reve!"
Voices overlapped, greetings bouncing across the room like something rehearsed and automatic.
In the midst of it, three people noticed too much.
"Hello sunbae-nim" Yoon Eden, leader and main rapper of Reve.
"Hello" Kim Iwol, member of SpArk, the 'producing member'.
"Hello sunbaes" Seo Hoyun, member of The Dawn, newest group in the room that debuted a year ago.
'Reve and The Dawn... Hm, i know Reve.. but The Dawn is new'
Kim Iwol. Member of SpArk, formally was an assistant manager who regressed into debut.
'Wasn't SpArk a five member group before? Kim Iwol.. who are you' Yoon Eden’s smile didn’t falter.
Yoon Eden. Leader of Reve, ultimately known for his trash personality and as a composer who died on his group's seven year anniversary, regressed on the day of his debut.
'two groups which disbanded bitterly... Although, Kim Iwol who was never a member and.. Yoon Eden's personality seems better'
Seo Hoyun. Member of The Dawn, originally who was a PD known for his malicious editing or 'evil' editing, unfortunately got transported ten years into his brother's game to become an idol, his past as a PD erased.
'i should be careful with them' Eden’s gaze sharpened just slightly. Yoon Eden who doesn't really care much but should be wary of the two unknowns.
'i should get information on them' Hoyun’s posture remained relaxed. Seo Hoyun who needs to make sure that these two won't get in the way of his group.
'i should mind my own business' Iwol exhaled slowly. Kim Iwol who doesn't know much about the two groups but heard of Reve in his past life.
The room seems more tense then before,
The three groups looking at their respective members who are creating the tension.
Members of Reve glanced at Eden.
He was smiling but something about it felt tighter.
Members of The Dawn looked at Hoyun.
He was calm but unusually quiet.
SpArk watched Iwol.
He was composed but distant.
"SpArk, please get ready for the stage in ten minutes" a staff comes in cutting the tension.
"Ah, it was great meeting you all" Kim Iwol smiles,
"Sunbae-nim, is it okay if I can get your contact number?" Seo Hoyun stepped forward, tone polite, expression open.
"Could I also have yours sunbae?" Yoon Eden added smoothly, slipping right in
"Of course" Kim Iwol types in his number in both of their phones, "eight minutes left"
"I should get going now"
"Yes, good luck on stage Sunbae" Seo Hoyun bows as kim iwol leaves
"Good luck sunbae!" Yoon Eden smiles and waves at the leaving member.
The whole interaction was filled with tension and was making the room awkward with the remaining two groups,
Kim Iwol turned and left.
The door clicked shut.
Silence.
“…SpArk wasn’t like that before” Eden muttering to himself,
Hoyun glanced at him “…Before?”
Eden smiled again like nothing happened "hm?, oh...its just a feeling.”
Hoyun didn’t smile back "…Yeah,” he said quietly
“…I get that too.”
Across the hallway Kim Iwol walked toward the stage.
[SYSTEM]
> Assistant manager kim,Your heart rate has increased.
“…I know.”
[SYSTEM]
> Was that interaction that stressful for you? How will you meet with others if you behave like this.
He paused mid-step just for a second.
“…No.”
A lie.
His gaze flickered slightly "something feels off about them."
Behind him two people watched the same door thinking the same thing.
'They’re not normal'
And none of them realized that the systems had already decided to bring them together.
Later, after a grueling personal dance practice session that he puts himself in, he wipes his sweat on his chin breathing heavily.
[SYSTEM]
>Assistant manager kim, I've been called to HQ, A substitute system will supervise you temporarily.
>I'll be back in a few days, don't slack off while I'm gone.
"Huh..?"
A pause.
[SYSTEM]
>This is a temporary reassignment.
"Wait then-"
[SYSTEM]
[ ( ''˶°ヮ°˶ ) Hello!, I'll be assisting you for sometime~ please don't overwork yourself Assistant manager]
'huh??'
Iwol blinked
“…What.”
[SYSTEM]
[(゜o゜; You seem tense. Would you like to take a break?]
He stared into nothing.
“…This is suspicious.”
Yoon Eden didn’t even get a warning while composing in his studio.
[SYSTEM]
>Employee Yoon, your previous system has been replaced temporarily. I’ll be overseeing you from now on.
“…Okay??” Eden said, confused while sipping on his caffeine filled coffee. "That’s fi-”
[SYSTEM]
>First of all, your posture is terrible. Sit properly. Do you want to ruin your spine this early in life?
Eden flinched, “…Excuse me?”
[SYSTEM]
>And what is this? You skipped breakfast again? Honestly, do I have to monitor every little thing?
Eden slowly lowered his headphones, annoyed.
“…Who are you?”
[SYSTEM]
>Have some respect for your supervisor. Honestly, having repeated life you'd think an employee like you would show respect.
“…No, I refuse.”
Yoon Eden has met his match.
Meanwhile, Seo Hoyun was mid-bite into his croissant after a performance at night, when-
[SYSTEM]
[Notice: behavioral restrictions active.]
He paused “…Huh?”
[SYSTEM]
[Excessive consumption detected. Please regulate your intake.]
Hoyun frowned slightly, “since when did you care about that stuff?"
[SYSTEM]
[Swearing from now on is prohibited. Maintain proper language.]
He blinked, “…I don’t even swear that much.”
[SYSTEM]
[Penalty will be applied if non-compliance]
“…Oh.” for some reason, he felt a chill down his spine.
Kim Iwol, Seo Hoyun, Yoon Eden.
Three regressors, three systems, one goal.
Become a successful idol to-
'Bring back a loved one's
'Return to his real world'
'Gain his original mindset'
One penalty.
