"Ow." The yellow puppet blankly said as the needle stabbed it's way into His fabric, before getting out to the Surface to repeat the movement once again.
A monotone silence stretched across the room. "Can... can i touch the stick now..." Yellow's free arm reached out slowly for the needle, hunching over as if he was a animal waiting to pounce on some moving thing.
Duck was hunched over the other ones arm, continuing His ministrations as the colorful string sewed the pig's arm closed. "No, only i get to touch it!" The green animal bluntly spoke out, as he gave a particularly harsh tug with the needle, the Stitch toughening painfully tight onto Yellow's felt.
"Awh..." The yellow thing let out a saddened sound, much like the whine of a dissapointed dog.
Duck repeated the motion with the Tiny metal again, the multi-colored string contrasting with the strong yellow of the other one, closing the wound where the stuffing would fall out.
"Well theres that." The green furred animal stated meanwhile he tied the knot, before biting it off with His beak, the yellow one keeping His mind-absent stare on Duck, maybe he was studying how he moved, but maybe not, he wasn't Smart like that at all.
The smaller puppet finished putting the thread and tools neatly away in a small box stained with yet not recognizable stains, he let out a small huff of effort as he hopped out of his chair, His plastic feet clacking with the ceramic floor.
"Hey."
Yellow spoke up, His Voice sounding... Rarely worried, he reached out His hand weakly to near the other's shoulder.
The kitchen felt rarely calm, the high pitched colors not so eyesoring now as the only sound that could be Heard was the quiet humming of the fluorescent light.
Duck stopped in His tracks, taking one quick look at the sewed hand and double checking, His green Brows rising in what could be maybe considered confusion or surprise for a second before going Back down to normal.
Yellow guy sluggishly moved His hand Back towards His arm, not gripping it nor Even touching it.
"I don't... Um... Really see You broken..." The puppet spoke out slowly, as if he was trying to Pierce out together the words inside His grey blur of a brain.
Duck furrowed His Brows as he glanced down at the floor for just a fraction of a second, the low humming filled the silence of the room.
"Do you get broken-"
"No!" The green puppet interrumped quickly, His autotune Voice scratching.
"I don't get broken, i'm the Best one!" Duck proudly jabbed in His own chest with force as His plastic beak clacked from the force of His talking.
A strong silence drew on, the torturous humming of a unknown machine kept on grating the green one's non-existant ears.
Yellow guy got down from His chair, His hands on the table to balance himself as he got down ungraceful as always. One, two, three taps on the ceramic floor as His soft shoes created of colorful materials Made their way towards duck.
The pig was fully quiet, unusually so, he reached down for Duck's furry hand, holding it softly with both of His.
Bright yellow felt and vibrant green fur touched with eachother, Duck swore he felt warmth from the yellow hand. He snapped His head up to Yellow guy, making no move to put distance between them, just staring intently.
The yellow puppet just held the other hand, examining it with a softness that was unexpected. Turning it, pressing it, caressing it Even.
Until he just stopped.
"You do." He simply marveled, looking down at a small rip on the green fur, the white, worn-down stuffing almost viewable.
Duck simply looked down, His beak shut tightly like if His organs were gonna spill out of it, he felt a faint purring sensation on his very insides.
"What?" He croaked out, like if it hurt to Even Say anything, if he had a heart he might have had a heart attack by now.
"I wanna-I Wanna help." Yellow guy torpidly lagged on His Words, resolution heavy as he reached out for the box, the table far too tall for the both of them.
Duck just stood still, webbed feet frozen to the floor.
Yellow guy's hand left Duck's to Open the box, the green fur still on the air, lingering.
*Clack* Rustling sounds of metal and threads shuffled inside of it, somehow masking the humming, but it was just more irritating, Duck groaned mentally.
It all just felt like it was closing in, the once vibrant and spacious room now just closing in to make view for the dopey yellow puppet, His sluggish and slow movements now... Soft, easy, calmer than the usual object with eyes and a mouth that singed about vegetables or nuclear waste.
He hadn't noticed how the needle poked trough his hand, before getting Back out on the other side.
The Stitches were unsafe, some untightened, others too Big to close the gap, but it felt nice, the warm feeling scalded him from the inside.
Yellow guy spoke out, His slow talking not heavy like the other times. "I like being near you."
The puppet stated as he finished the last stitch, His flimsy small fingers attempting to knot the thread for a few seconds.
Duck quickly fixed His slouching he wasn't aware of, His free hand holding the thin string into a circle for the yellow one to finish the knot.
"Thanks." Yellow guy murmured, holding Duck's hand with both of His, examining it.
They simply stayed like that for a while, maybe hours or seconds.
