Work Text:
The Movers, Nina, and Serena were being cheered and applauded for by the children after they performed the Sleeping Beauty play. They all took a bow and almost headed off on their separate ways. Serena got outside and was looking at the flowers outside the library. She had changed back into her work uniform before she exited the library. She never took a break from her job. She didn’t notice that Rich was right beside her and holding a bouquet of flowers behind his back.
“These flowers are so pretty. Wish I could look at them more often.” Serena softly spoke to herself in a way of longing.
“Well who says you couldn’t look at them more often?” Rich responded in his usual way of talking.
Serena whips her head around and sees Rich. “Oh it’s just you! That’s honestly reassuring!”
Rich graces Serena’s eyes by giving her a bouquet of purple hydrangeas. Purple hydrangeas are her favorite flowers.
“The most beautiful of flowers for my wonderful princess. How do you do, your highness?”
“Who told you that these were my favorite flowers? If it’s Nina, I should’ve known! Any information about me will be relayed to the people I care about!”
Serena responds in a sweet yet playful manner while she takes the bouquet and holds it in her hands.
Rich places his hands around her waist and gives her a sweet kiss on the lips. Serena obviously returns the kiss with her cheeks turning pink.
As they pull away from the kiss, Serena now holds the bouquet with her left hand. Rich takes Serena’s right hand and intertwines them. They both begin to walk back to the Warehouse, hand in hand.
The End.
