Lately, today is quite a normal day for the Pokémon Square.
Everyone's having their usual routine for the day, some of the Pokémon went into the dungeon to fetch a lot of items in a lot of floors, while the others went in to find ones who went missing and might be in need of Rescue.

Well, this happens to apply to me:
Smeargle, I'm what they call a ‘Painter Pokémon’, and as you may expect, I'm a painter… kinda.
I say kinda cuz, I happened to be injured from my tail from Last time, when I went to a dungeon to help find a missing rookie.. Meowth.

I wanna say I blame him for this but, it was my fault instead. I was the one who got into Zangoose's way and we both ended up somewhere far from our team..and… Well I can't recall what really happened.

Now, I'm at the Sky-Blue Plains, having to draw everything on a pencil while my tail recovers, I can't do anything with it being injured after all.
I am gonna miss the adventures in that dungeon for a few days, but I'll make up for it once I talk things out with Zangoose and the others.

It has been very quiet lately… Every other Pokémon had to be doing something within the square, but silence would soon break when someone approached me behind the tree.

"Surprise!"🐱🗡

"AH!"🐶🎨

“Hehe, Well hey there! I had a feeling I might find you here!” 🐱🗡

“O-Oh, it's just you, Meowth. You almost gave me a heart attack there!” 🐶🎨

"Heh, Quite a shocker there ey? :3" 🐱🗡

There's Meowth, the one whom my team & I rescued back in the dungeon. He's been having an approach ever since for the past few weeks which… I'll be honest, it gives me a good amount of company.
I didn't like how he managed to startle me every time he pops out of the tree though.

“sigh..So what do you need, Meowth? If it's something to do with the dungeon, I can't do it. I had to make sure my tail healed up properly to do so.” 🐶🎨

“Actually, I got tired of asking that. Instead, I'm here for a different reason, trust. :3” 🐱🗡

“..Okay? Well it better not be the same request re-worded. So, what do you want?” 🐶🎨

As Meowth jump out of the tree, he was wearing what I may describe as "outlaw like". As he landed, he asked me one particular request :

 

“I, Don Meowth the 1st, would request a portrait of me being drawn by you, Smeargle!” 🐱🗡

I was in fact speechless by his request. It's been a while since someone asked if I could draw a portrait of them.
Hm.. I guess while my tail's still recovering, It would be better if I do it on paper instead of a canvas...I do need an excuse to draw him after all.
But first, I should ask if there's a specific location we could move to.

“Uhm… sure. Why not actually?” 🐶🎨

“Sweet! I’ve been waiting for this moment ever since, I even had to practice a lot of poses and oooh I been dreaming of -” 🐱🗡

“Just a quick question, is there any scenery you like me to be at?” 🐶🎨

“Hm?” 🐱🗡

“O-oh. Ahem, should we move to any location or should I draw a portrait of you here at Sky-Blue Plains?” 🐶🎨

“Uh...hmm. I have an idea actually.” 🐱🗡

----- Vibrant Forest -----

It was a long and extended walk from Sky-Blue Plains to the Vibrant Forest. I wouldn't mind not holding my tail for now, since it's merely the “handle” part that got injured.
I've visited the forest once when I was delivering a portrait for Pikachu, so to have Meowth inviting me here for his portrait is.. Interesting.

Nevertheless, it's a good thing he didn't invite me to the Beau Plains, I don't think I could sketch a decent portrait without sneezing.

“So, what do you think? Is this place perfect for you to draw here?” 🐱🗡

“... Well, if I'm being honest, I say it's perfect here.” 🐶🎨
It was an odd choice but I don't want to disappoint Meowth anyway, he seems to be in a good mood lately. . .Maybe some question might do the work, before we reached our designated spot for this.

“So Meowth, what do you think of Pikachu?” 🐶🎨

“Hm, they're pretty alright actually. I happened to learn an electric type move thanks to them. 🐱🗡

“Oh, what would that be?” 🐶🎨

“Thunderbolt!” 🐱🗡

“Ah. What about Gallade? Any thoughts on him?” 🐶🎨

“Gallade, huh? Hm… No, I'm not sure. I guess he's cool.” 🐱🗡

“That sucks. ...How about Zangoose? What do you think of him, in general?” 🐶🎨

“Him? Well I could think of any words that can describe him in some way.” 🐱🗡

“Really? I like to hear your thoughts on him.”🐶🎨

“Hmm… he seems strong, especially when he uses Fury Claws against Serviper. He’s also got that menacing, cool, tough vibe on him.” 🐱🗡

“Well I can be tough like him...”🐶🎨

“Did ya say somethin?” 🐱🗡

“Oh u-uhm… nothing.. Actually. ” 🐶🎨

Whoops.. I almost slipped up. To be fair though, I would definitely have equal strength to Zangoose using sketch. Anyways, after a few questions, we have reached our designated spot for the Vibrant Forest. 

It's quite… tricky if I say since it's a thick-ish forest? I'm not sure since I haven't explored much of the forest myself actually.
It doesn't matter anyway since after we arrived, we began our routine. The routine of creating a portrait for a Musketeer, or Outlaw… oh well. 

« A few hours later » 

It's been a whole hour lately, well I couldn't tell what hour it is.
I have no clue time passes by quickly but… honestly, today was fun, I do have a good way to recap.

“How ‘bout this one as well, this one's quite cool looking?” 🐱🗡

“Yes! Keep it still, I must capture this perfectly!” 🐶🎨

I had been drawing so many portraits for Meowth for the past hours or so , it went through a whole lot of sketching and erasing because I wanted this thing to be perfect. Naturally… I had him doing a lot of poses, ones he thought of himself.
We did take a lot of breaks in between said sketches but.. I had to refine every sketch in between said breaks, I don't like to see those flaws in these portraits..
It does say something about this experience because.. I ended up drawing a whole lot of poses. Surprising, how does this cat even come up with them?
Usually this may take 1 or 2 poses for me to draw but this is more than that.

“Sketch number.. 6… uh… is it Sketch number 7? Crap, how long is this gonna take..?” 🐶🎨

“Woah, 7?! Quite a lucky number I say! “ 🐱🗡

“Mhm.. It sure is...” 🐶🎨

Well, best to draw a lot. . . I can't remember the last time I took a rest lately..

…It's night-time, I have finished my.. 7th Sketch? Either way, I might be able to draw another one thanks to Meowth's ideas. The problem is.. It's dark. I can't draw under the dark exactly, my eyes hurt if I tried to do it honestly. 

Well.. I guess it wouldn't hurt to doze off for a bit. . . . Maybe.. just a few minutes.. 

Zzz.. 

“Hey.. Smeargle? ”🐱🗡

“..H-hm..?” 🐶🎨

“Hey, wake up!” 🐱🗡

“.. Hu-Huh? I-I'm awake! “🐶🎨
Wha.. Oh it's just Meowth. Damn I must've been so tired that I dozed off during my time to sketch. Why does he look worried.. ? 

“You seemed tired, lately. You doing good, Smeargle?” 🐱🗡

“Uhm.. Y-yeah actually. Shall we continue our sketch routine?” 🐶🎨

“About that, I think that's enough sketching for today, actually.” 🐱🗡

“.. Wha?” 🐶🎨

“I have been looking at all of these sketches lately and, honestly, they're pretty great… but then, I noticed in between breaks, you don't seem to take a lot of rest.” 🐱🗡

“Hell, I don't recall you eating anything in the process! All I see is you refining ur sketch instead..”🐱🗡

“Oh… I see..” 🐶🎨

Gosh.. I've been drawing so many portraits for him for the past few hours or so I forgot about my own well being.
To be fair.. I ate at least 2 Leppa berries in between those drawings but, for the rest of the hours or so, I don't really recall when I actually took a break. . .
But seeing Meowth being worried ... 
Sigh.. I guess artblock does something to a Pokemon like me.

“Smeargle.. Is something wrong?” 🐱🗡

“..I'm Sorry it's just… I haven't been this motivated to draw a portrait of someone ever since. I just.. I haven't been able to draw anything for the past few weeks or so.. Actually. ” 🐶🎨

“Wait, Really?” 🐱🗡

“Yeah really… It's quite hard to come up with something while having Art-block. So when you ask for a portrait of yourself, that was my opportunity to do so. I mean, I never had this epiphany before actually.” 🐶🎨

“Hm.. Why is that exactly?” 🐱🗡

“I did so because… M-mostly because.. Uh... I-uh.."🐶🎨

"I can't really say… I'm really sorry, Meowth..” 🐶🎨

“... Hmm.. I think I can guess exactly.”🐱🗡

“.. W-What do you mean?” 🐶🎨

“Well, I'm not good at reading Pokémon that much but…You had a particular romantic feeling for me, didn't you, Smeargle?” 🐱🗡

. . . . . 

“... HUH?!”🐶🎨
How… How did he guess that? 

“Hehe, I'm not wrong am I? I had that sort of feeling as well during the time you and Zangoose were on a rescue mission for me. It was…only brief, but I couldn't forget about it for a while.” 🐱🗡

I couldn't really believe what I've just heard. Did Meowth really… had feelings for me? Hold on.. Maybe I'm dreaming. It is night after all.... No, it can't really be a dream.
I don't really think he's the type to be dishonest... crazy actually..

“Wait, you too have feelings for me, really?” 🐶🎨

“Yes, really. Though, You didn't hide it quite well but I would pretend not to notice it anyway.” 🐱🗡

“I.. See… Well, now that's out of the bag… what should we do now?” 🐶🎨
It is late after all, I probably should head back to my base back in Sky-Blue Plains… Well, I wouldn't expect the next thing to happen anyway. 

“What do you think?” 🐱🗡

“Oh .. Uh.. What are you doing..?” 🐶🎨

“I'm not sure but whenever I look at your face, I can't help but notice how you look quite… adorable.” 🐱🗡

“...Y-You sure? I don't seem to get that comment a lot a-actually. “ 🐶🎨

He's somewhat.. affectionate yet, I seemed to like it.
No wait, I should definitely think about returning to Sky-Blue Plains. Plus, Gallade might be looking for me at this hour and such. 

“Well, I'm pretty honest about myself, so I can confidently say you're adorable in any sort of way!” 🐱🗡

“.. I see. Y’know.. You do look quite cute up close here. I couldn't tell if I was tired or what not but…something about it seems oddly soft.” 🐶🎨

“Hehe, I guess the teasing back then does work on you after all, huh? ” 🐱🗡

“It sure does if I'm being honest.” 🐶🎨

“Surely, hehehe :3” 🐱🗡

We both chuckle for a short while.
Everything seems to be happening so fast.. I can't even tell if I'm dreaming or what not.
Maybe, this isn't a dream after all. Before I knew it.. 

Meowth did his first move on me. It was quite sudden for me but honestly, I wouldn't mind the sudden kiss... not to mention, it's quite tender.
We both spend a lot of our time for each other and honestly, It was really fun.

I really fell in love with the Cat made in Kanto, after all.

“Thanks Meowth, I love you. ” 🐶🎨

“I love you too, Smeargle. ” 🐱🗡

There on, I decided to stay here at the Vibrant Forest to call it a day.
Oh well, I guess I'll return to Sky-Blue Plains the next morning… Hopefully Gallade won't be mad at me for this.

“Oh. Well, I guess we gotta keep exploring.” 💐🗡

“Sheesh, bet you still couldn't guess why Smeargle hasn't come back to Sky-Blue Plains at this hour and such. Have any ideas, Lieutenant?” ❤🤍

“I don't, I haven't seen Meowth either so I suspect they both mayhaps been hanging out for the majority of their time, Pika.” 🐭⚡

“...That doesn't explain why Smeargle hasn't been around Sky-Blue Plains lately.” 💐🗡

“That's for you to figure out. I don't even know why I'm invited with you guys in the first place.” 🐭⚡

“Uh… You know Vibrant Forest paths more than we do?” ❤🤍

“Oh, I guess that's why.” 🐭⚡

“Sigh… guess this is quite a long search. Compared to when You and Smeargle got thrown to a whole other area by Seviper.” 💐🗡

“Hey, at least We, Alongside Cubone and My Gang, actually defeated Seviper! You and your team just happened to show up last minute anyway.” ❤🤍

“Well that's because we're busy fighting others in said dungeon floor! How are we supposed to reach quickly after Arbok??” 💐🗡

“At least I don't have a long time beef with another snake which ended up having to cause another Pokémon's injury!” 💐🗡

“At least my team arrives sooner than yours!” ❤🤍

«The two Pokémon had a whole useless argument I ain't writing it all down»

(In Ho-oh's name, I've never seen two Master Pokémons having the most divorce sounding argument in my life… Sigh how much am I gonna endure until we find Smeargle and Meowth anyway..?) 🐭⚡

(Eh I'm gonna leave em be…Gotta find them myself so I could go back and do more flying on my base.) 🐭⚡

-Somewhere within Vibrant Forest-

“Ugh … Why am I stuck with these dudes when I'm supposed to be flying with Charizard anyway so I could be like Captain? Then I can “fly” like Captain Pikachu like the legend says! ” 🐭⚡

“Yeesh, I can just try and find them quickly. Then I can return back to the Olivine and.. Hm?” 🐭⚡

The Pikachu noticed a snoring sound, right ahead of their path. Thus, the Pikachu followed the sounds and soon, they found Smeargle and Meowth, cuddling in their sleep. 

“Oh, there they are. . . Aww, they sure look adorable for each other. Well, thank Ho-oh I found them before those two idiots did. I wonder what they're doing here anyway” 🐭⚡

“Explain what exactly?” ❤🤍

“PIKA! Gosh, you scared the hell outta me!” 🐭⚡

“Well, we both noticed you weren't there so we had to look around. Luckily your tail's peeking out so it's easy to guess” 💐🗡

“Hm, and we did find Smeargle and Meowth so… mystery solved! Now we can rest. ” ❤🤍

“Agree. What were they doing here anyway?” 💐🗡

“Just a drawing session, there's 7 of these drawings here-” 🐭⚡

“7?!” Oh Arceus, that must be a lot of work.” 💐🗡

“Guess that explains why they're here, just as I predicted.” 🐭⚡

“Sigh… Well, I guess it's night time and.. It would be troubling to get them back to their bases .. I should definitely rest here till morning-” 💐🗡
