Notes:

I'm dihpressed after I didn't get to pulled out Gerald's card from last fucking time event. I'm going to mauled the developer soon enough, because why is it so hard just for a piece of SR grade card? I know I'm fucking ungrateful after owning bunch of his SSR, still, I need more of my own husband, what is this bullshit price too? I'm going down broke, the economy is killing me. Also, do rise for life makeover gang, we all shall unite because I NEED MORE MATERIALS.

P.S. Sorry if it's bad written or out of character. It's because I need more of his cards. I'm begging you, archosaur.

Skyscrapers shade the streets that never stop shining from every passing vehicle or the moonlight tonight—which perhaps feels more charming to anyone upon the clear night sky. Gerald Gù Sānchèng/Yucheng (顾三城: sorry if there's any misspellings by his name, please correct it if I'm wrong) gazing at buildings and vehicles as far as the eye could see; several stars fell beautifully, caught in his captivating blue-ish orbs.

“It is indeed a beautiful night....” he muttered under his breath, as the gaze shifted over the large aquarium in his wide personal office. Documents were neatly stacked on the tables—some made of teak wood and some made of glass as clear as river water. You just came out of his office a three hours ago after discussing a technology project he was about to relaunch to the public.

The ripples of water echoed in the office space that was occupied by him alone, the fish swimming here and there so freely, making him turn his full attention in that direction. Then, the entrance door right next to the large aquarium, creaked open with the silhouette of a familiar figure from the outside.

You returned to his office, his smile immediately blooming like a tuberose on top of his document storage cabinet tonight. Still with the small bag slung over your shoulder, he walked closer slowly and surely while your eyes roamed around his office thoughtfully.

“I've lost my bracelet earlier... have you seen it around here?” you asked, meeting his gaze that at the moment showing softness that are genuine with the classic charming—wealthy man he is.

“You came here just for your bracelet? Was it one of from Ashley's?” he asked back, tucking one hand inside his trouser pocket.

Ah... no, not like that-- uhm....” You looked around again, your gaze turning a little awkward and hesitant to say the reason for coming all the way back here just for the bracelet. “Just tell me, have you seen it?”

Gerald shook his head lightly, a soft chuckle almost slipping if he didn't know you're already this awkward. “How can I know it, [Name]? I haven't even seen it before. Do tell me how does it looked like.” However, he paused for a moment when your eyes met his again, then his hand reached out of his pocket again.

Hm... though, I did found this earlier—truly yours?” He pulled out a small silver bracelet with your initial among the surrounding beads.

Oh, Gerald!” Your face was stained with a sweet blush, making his chuckle slip out completely and lift the bracelet in grasp to his sight to observe it.

“It looks sweet to me,” he teased, clearly not helping your current situation. “However, why do you feel so uneasy when I ask about the appearance of the bracelet itself?”

You immediately took the bracelet back and put it back in your shoulder bag, snorting softly when you heard his question. “It's something cheap that I've bought in a jewelry store by the street last week. The owner is an old woman who let me take a break when I've lost my way to my client's house.”

The young man hummed softly, listening to your every word as you paused to think about your next sentence. His smile didn't wavered, but it was enough to say that he's always been there—serious about every story you've had.

“It's... well, valuable for me—I'll cherished it until now, I'm so grateful for her help last time that even explained my condition to my client that had almost fuming already since I was two minutes late....” You've tried to ease the tension as his eyebrows furrowed in thoughts, chuckling to yourself.

“That's one of a tough case, are you alright, though?” he asked out. “Two minutes late shouldn't made anyone fuming like that, if it's not much of an emergency issues.”

“I'm fine, and... yeah, it's not much of an emergency issues—just a crying old money people about their racoon that had just fled out of the residence.” Realising your sharp words; actually still held a bit of grudge against your client, you've decided to cleared your throat, ”Though, I did apologise to them; two minutes might've been really important for someone, I understand that.”

“Indeed... time is pretty much valuable, but I would never imagine how to have the energy as big as fuming over someone who's 2 minutes late,” he replied, his face features softening once again. “Although... time's becoming more valuable if it's with you—makes me appreciate it more.”

You flinched slightly, one eyebrow raising in disbelief at the slightly daring aura radiating from Gerald. “Yes... my time also felt much more valuable if it's spent with you.”

“Then....” His right hand was raised, initially a little hesitant but the feeling disappeared immediately as a sweet, bolder smile bloomed again; settling the palm against your upper arm and leaned closer, “Do spent a few more hours with me... would you mind?”

Your face was getting redder and redder, almost making you breathless with the closeness and the hot sensation on your chest and face. “Oh... but, I thought you've said it earlier, there's a stack of documents waiting for you through the night?” You swallowed heavily.

“I have become accustomed to answering calls and messages from my colleagues while the meeting is still ongoing,” he said, fully focused by your gaze and reaction only, “take your mind off the work that awaits me—I can still finished it all by the deadlines with efficiency.”

“I... see....” Your voice faded as his face drew closer.

Then, without waiting for an answer; all the street lights, starlight, and the moon watched the passionate touch of his lips fell against you like one of the fallen stars passed by your gaze by a brief second—a short time whilst your hand found his gray tie with the metal clip by the left side of it.

The coldness of the air conditioner around his private office enveloped you, trying to disturb the heat that was shimmering and intertwined between the touches that spread throughout the curves of your body. The door wasn't locked yet, and a spared time to does it would at least helped both of you to not be disrupted.
