Water is the escape

Summary:

Aiden doesn't know how he ended up here. But all he knows - this is another failure. His failure. Brooks can hear a familiar voice above his ear, how two strong arms holding his torso. Why're they screaming at him? He's hearing them.. Mostly..
Every sound that Aiden hears now - mostly sounding like he's under the water, drowning.. Well..

That's exactly what he wanted to do.

Notes:

— "What were you thinking, Aiden?" — the voice is calmer now and softer, as trying not to scare Brooks, — "What if nobody were here? What if I didn't decide to search for you-" — but he doesn't finish the sentence, because the other's voice interrupting him.
— "I would've been happy", — green eyes looking down at the send, while pale hands trying to pull other's shirt on his body a little more, it's getting colder.. — "I didn't ask to help me, It was none of your business, Sam" — so scary things, dark things were said by soft and gentle voice that sounded so lifeless.
Thitivoranan didn't say anything, just stared at him. Why? Because he needs a few more seconds to understand, what's even going on.

A few minutes before he was searching for Aiden. A man disappeared after the challenge. Often Sam could see him with Evie, but Aiden wasn't there.. Nobody saw him, and nobody didn't even care. Well.. Sam can't tell if he's caring about Aiden more than an "ally", but it was strange.
And then, at the beach he saw him. Brooks, who was going into the ocean in all his clothes. Thitivoranan didn't see anything special about it, maybe man was trying to relax in the water. But when Brooks didn't emerge from the water for like.. minute or more, he ran.

And that's where they're now. Sitting on the sand next to each other: Aiden with Sam's shirt on his shoulders and Sam, whose trying to understand the whole thing.
— "That's not the way, Aiden.." — Sam exhales heavily, looking at the other's face. It's mostly emotionless: not angry, sad, happy. But maybe.. Disappointed, — "Look, I Don't know what happened to you, or your mind, but.." — and again, Aiden doesn't let him finish.

— "I miss him.." — soft, but broken words coming from Brook's lips. Thitivoranan raising his brows, looking at the Aiden once more, before returning his gaze at the ocean, — "Everything is reminding me of him. The yellow color, the name of the other team.. Even you!" — Aiden furrow his brows, sobbing into his knees. When did he get in this fatal pose? Trying to hide from something..

— "You two are so similar.. But he's much kinder and.. Oh, James", — Brooks can't hold it anymore, breaking down and letting tears to fall down, scratching his cheeks with wet lines, — "I made so many mistakes here.. W-why I even acted like that?! So mean.. I bet if he'll even want to see me again", — Aiden always was said, that he's ugly, when crying. But he can't help himself, hugging knees harder and unconsciously trying to find any warm in other's shirt, as if it was James's.
Why he's acted like that during the show? Aiden promised James to be good player, to stay more.. human.. But he's ended trying to end himself! what the fucking useless person, yes?

Sam doesn't answer, he silently listens to the other's cries. He doesn't trying to calm him down, to reassure him. Just sitting near, letting him to tell his soul out.

And maybe.. Thitivoranan could help Aiden. Vote him out, to let him see his dear boyfriend.

..But sorry, Aiden.. You're too good to just let go. Game is a game and even broken persons can be useful.
