Summary:

With 5 successful seasons of the hit reality show, Disventure Camp. All gone through and concluded, the company decides it's finally time to bring back 24 of the strongest, most popular contestants from each of its 4 generations of cast members to compete once again for a grand prize. It's been over 2 years since majority of the cast have even played, and just as expected, the bad blood that has lingered since their seasons had ended has only continued to grow. With old wounds being opened the second they set foot on the new Soluna Island. Especially with all their legacies so tightly monitored by the fandom!

Who among the 24 favorites will win this epic round 2 of an all-star season? And who's legacies from the past will catch up to them? Will anyone make up? I suppose there's only one way to find out. Right here, right now, as Disventure Camp Presents! The Land of Legacies!

Chapter 1: Episode 1: Stars Collide

Notes:

Welcome back everyone, for those uninformed, it's finally time for the long-anticipated follow up to Disventure Camp All-Stars! REVAMPED. I'm back, now that Carnival of Chaos, and my OC season, have concluded, and am ready to put our old happy friends from the last story through even more anguish and torture! Naturally, we were always going to see these old faces again. But we're going to have a lot of fun with this larger cast and new characters to bounce off each other.

I would, of course, recommend that you read the OC prequel story, the Isle of Insanity, if you want to know the 6 OCs that are competing alongside the 18 canon contestants who are returning, or, if that doesn't interest you, you may read the 10 short reintroduction stories I posted for the 18 canon characters who will be returning to get an idea as to where everyone is, or what to expect from this season. Naturally, I can make no guarantees everything you see from back then gets followed up on, it's just the way the ball goes.

Episode 1: Stars Collide

Camera static cut in, as the image of a video began recording, revealing a tall, tan-skinned woman with dark brown eyes, and black hair tied into a ponytail. The woman smiled over as the rumbling of a jet plane could be heard in the distance behind her, and landed. She was wearing her usual orange vacation button-up top with white undersleeves that was tied in a Daisy-Duke fashion so as to expose her navel. With a black medium-length skirt and tan pump-sandals with black straps covering her lower half.

The roaring engine of a jet pulled to a stop as she adjusted her ponytail hair and spotted her co-host waiting for her. A young man with pale skin and short stature, with his black, curly, afro-style hair and sideburns, thick black eyebrows, black point eyes and rectangular glasses with a black frame and teal glass. Like her, he too was wearing a normal orange shirt with two front pockets and a long-sleeved white shirt tucked in, with black shorts, and gray boots.

The lady smiled as the man set up some additional cameras off screen and gave her a countdown. Before raising her hands as the recording started.

“Welcome back! It’s been quite a while since you last heard from us!” The woman chuckled as the camera began rolling. “Welcome one and all, to the 6th season of the hit reality show! Disventure Camp! Over the past 5 years, we’ve introduced you to a large variety of people who have competed against each other to win a large cast prize. 5 Seasons later, we’ve had 4 casts of lovely individuals who have each shown their strengths, weaknesses, and bonds with one another in an attempt to outwit, outplay, and outlast all the others.

She smiled as she began walking as the cameras followed her to the jet. “However, throughout our 4 casts of competitors, there was one season that reign supreme by the fandom, our 3rd season, the All-Stars of our first two seasons casts competing against each other, sort of as a sendoff for your support when we were picked up only for a 3rd season with no guarantee we’d get another.”

She chuckled. “How naive our production company was back then. Thanks to the monumental success and growth, we were able to fund two more seasons that have been released to…quite a lot of acclaim, despite what people in the fandom may say about both of those seasons being ‘not as good.’ as the first 3.”

She crossed her arms as she leaned back against a jet. “However, we’ve seen your theories, speculation, and discussions. About how our first two generations of competitors will forever be the superior ones. The best of the best, the ones who, we could keep bringing back, and they’d just keep on winning.”

She took a deep breath. “So, we decided we’d answer your pleas. Welcome to our Second All-Star season! Since we last saw our original 18 All-Stars. We’ve had two seasons with 18 new competitors a piece. So, what better way than to divy them up further. The 6 best competitors, from our 4 seasons of new casts. Back again, to compete. A bunch of third timers, and a bunch of two timers. Ready to compete once again! To determine the best of the best!”

She pulled out a stack of cash from the top of her shirt and smiled rather evilly at the camera. “We’ll be picking up all of our old friends soon enough, to start the biggest, baddest, most aggressive season to date! 24 contestants, the best of the best! Featuring all of your favorite, and least favorite, competitors! Who will win? Who will fall? And who, will continue their streak of proving their success was either a one time thing, or not a one time fluke. Only one way to find out.”

She tossed the money away and off camera. As a large banner draped down from the jet. “As always, I’m your host! Kristal McLane! And this is…The Land of Legacies!”

(Introduction Sequence)

A bunch of cameras flew down on a stage as Kristal, along with Oliver stepped out in front with their arms up in a showy move as another panning shot zoomed past them

The camera settled on Adriana, staring up at the shown entrance of the camp sign marked “Disventure.” With an annoyed frown. Her head turned to see Zaid, alongside Jake, next to her, looking equally as concerned.

The camera continued forward to the fire pit, where Aiden and James were talking with Erick and Petra. James said something that made Aiden chuckle with a blush as Erick and Petra looked uncomfortable, before the Brazilian man put his arms around all 3 of them and took a selfie.

Jade popped her head out of a bush, with a weird look of envy at the four, and jumped as Spencer put a hand on her shoulder, before handing her a piece of parchment, which she opened, and smiled at him. The two were cut off as Logan attempted to walk up to them, but both shot him a dirty look before walking away, leaving the swimmer to look dejected.

Logan’s head turned as the camera panned over to Tom. Who watched Ellie and Gabby share a kiss before Ellie walked off, the police officer attempted to reach out, but Gabby noticed him and turned her head away. Leaving Tom to look dejected as Logan walked over to him.

The camera zoomed in on a tree behind them where Sarah looked out at both men with a smug smile. One that faded as Tess approached her, making her jump as the raven-haired girl gave her a suspicious frown.

The camera panned over to Fiore searching for something, she moved towards a bush, which Isabel popped out of with a smile, startling the little girl who backed up into Moon who gently pushed her back as the nun caught her before she fell over. Fiore grunted as she stared up as the Nun shot Moon an annoyed glare, which he returned with an evil laugh.

The camera slowly panned over to Alec nervously watching Fiore look annoyed with the Nun and Edgelord. The man jumped as Riya took his hand suddenly, the two looked at each other with a blush. But Alec quickly pushed Riya away as Sapphire walked by, buried in his notepad.

Riya stumbled back before she bumped into Rosa and Lake. The actress attempted to give them a friendly smile, which Lake returned, but Rosa frowned as she grabbed the German girl’s hand and dragged her away. Leaving Riya to frown as she tugged at her pearl necklace, not noticing Anastaisa watching with a mischievous smile.

A big blaze of fire transitioned as the 24 contestants approached the elimination area with varying degrees of confidence, where they proceeded to all give each other various frowns as the camera zoomed out on their glare down.

Disventure Camp: Land of Legacies!

The Cameras cut back to Kristal, now no longer on an airport runway, and instead, of the beaches of a tropical island.

“Welcome to Soluna Island!” Kristal announced. “The home of this Season of Disventure Camp! In just a few short minutes, the largest cast of 24 contestants will be arriving, ready to compete in an aggressive, to the death, season amongst each other. Metaphorically, of course.”

She cleared her throat with a giggle. “Anyway; it’s been quite some time since we’ve seen any of our old competitors…and for many of them, it's been a long time since they’ve seen each other…and while they’re all currently traveling here now…we decided to group them up…interestingly…as you’ll see…”

She then looked up as she spotted 4 helicopters approaching the island. “I wonder what those 24 were like when they first saw each other again. But, anyway…here they come now.”

(Several Hours Earlier, Canada)

A taxi cab pulled up to an unmarked building and out stepped two men, with rather confused looks.

The first was a pale-skinned blue-haired man, about 29 years old. His hair was tied into a bun in the back. Sporting a salmon-colored zip-up jacket overtop a cream-white sweater, with dark gray skinny jeans and a salmon belt with a silver skull-shaped buckle and pocket chain. The man shivered a little as he looked at the very unmarked, rather suspicious building, before looking back down at a letter.

“Well…this is the place, Tom…weird as it seems.”

He turned his head as he heard the door slam and a few heavy footsteps. Tom, the man’s husband, was a similarly pale skinned man, with long, messy black hair, teal eyes and noticeable knife scars on the right side of the chin. Wearing a navy fur-lined bomber jacket, over a seafoam green t-shirt. He had a stitched emblem for the Canadian Police force, as he was now the deputy commissioner, and navy acid-washed jeans, and dark brown combat boots.

“Sort of a…weird place for us to come and be picked up, though.” The man said, his tone rather firm, but had a hint of suspicion. “It’s completely off the grid…”

“Guess they don’t want to use a more…public airport…you know the fans of this show would’ve crowded around to try and get a glimpse of all of us…” Jake said uncomfortably, rubbing his right sleeve. “Probably for the best.”

There was a moment of silence as he looked over at his husband, Tom looked extremely uncomfortable as Jake reached out and put a hand on his shoulder. His husband looked at him as the blue-haired man gave him an encouraging smile.

“Don’t worry,” he said, calmly. “We’ll be ready this time to show all these people just how strong and heroic you are. Who cares if people didn’t like the way you played last time. We can win this, you’re still the same strong, kind-hearted, noble man that I fell in love with. And that should be all that matters here. I’ll be here for you.”

Tom blushed as he crossed his arms uncomfortably. “Thanks…sweetie,” he said, calmly. “But…your words can only be so effective when there’s very few here who will feel similarly.”

“Just remember what Miriam told us.” Jake replied, smiling. “At the end of the day, we should trust each other. And not worry about what everyone else thinks. This is the game we signed up for, after all. Don’t worry about trying to fix your image to faceless people who never cared for you to begin with and-”

“Don’t wallow on how you ended up with them in the past.” Tom repeated, cutting Jake off. “I know…I know…I…Promise Jake…I won’t do anything rash and emotionally stupid.”

Jake smiled as he gave the man a quick peck on his scarred cheek. The two were cut off as they saw another cab pull up. The two looked over, rather confused, and their confusion instantly turned into displeasure as the two occupants of the second cab were revealed.

The first, was a tan-skinned Turkish man around their age. He had long brown hair with a few light streaks tied in a low ponytail with a blue hair tie. He had a cleft chin, and glasses. And was dressed in a white button-down shirt with a blue argyle sweater vest over it, featuring a pattern of squares. Complementing this was dark gray pants held in by a black belt, and black loafer shoes. Though the man didn’t appear to notice them at first as he reached back into the cab.

“Fiore, we’re here! You can get up now.”

The two men’s displeasure only soured as the Turkish man leaned back out, and was followed by a little, fair-skinned, 11-year old, girl. She had dark brown hair that was styled into two pigtails with a yellow bow between them. This bow complemented the small hoodie of a similar color she had, with blue cargo shorts that reached down to her knees.

The little girl yawned and let out a stretch, neither yet to notice the two staring as she let out a groan. “Ugh. Finally! I felt like I was going to DIE.” she grunted. “I can’t believe this fuckass show didn’t pick us up in Italy like last time, and we had to fly ALL THE WAY HERE. Then get in a cab just to come to this random location in the middle of bumfuck nowhere! Probably so they can transport us to that same stupid forest.”

“Whatever keeps us out of the fans' eye sites I guess.” The man shuddered. “I’ve had enough weird “What about your Son, Alec?” for a lifetime.”

“I suppose that’s fair, Dad. The last thing we need is a bunch of creepy weirdos hollering about your past.” Fiore rolled her eyes, as she crossed her arms.

“Though, that Still, doesn’t explain why they wanted us too-” Alec’s words trailed off as his eyes finally caught sight of the two men giving them sour looks, which he returned back to them Oh…that’s why…” he grunted.

Fiore looked over and spotted Tom and Jake looking at them, much like her dad, she gave them an annoyed look.

“I should’ve guessed that if we were coming back…of course the Demon and her dad would be back as well.” Tom muttered.

“Why are you two buffoons even back anyway?” She asked, rather deadpanned. “I seem to recall that blueberry hair over there didn’t want to play again?”

“He and I have our reasons…” Jake replied. “Most importantly being the fact that, you know,  getting invited meant we HAD to come back because of our contracts.”

Alec chuckled. “Right…” he said, rather amused. “I completely forgot, Fiore and I at least wanted to come back, so we didn’t really read ours. I had just assumed you must’ve burned through the 1.5 million you kept after donating the other to those underprivileged schools.” Alec adjusted his glasses. “That wedding venue didn’t look cheap.”

“Can’t be too surprised the biggest villains on the show wanted to come back.” Tom rolled his eyes. “I hope you’re both ready to lose again…Miriam beat Fiore the first time, I beat Alec in All-stars.” he eyed over at Jake. “And my husband has gotten quite a lot stronger, maybe we’ll keep up the pattern and he’ll win this time.”

Jake blushed as Alec and Fiore both rolled their eyes. Tom felt a bit of satisfaction in getting them to shut up, but that was short lived.

“God, at least save this heroic cockiness for when the competition starts if you’re gonna act like that.” The two turned their heads as Alec and Fiore looked over, at two other women who had just arrived and were walking up to them.

The first was a pale-skinned girl with turquoise eyes and freckles on her nose and cheeks. She had orange hair with darker streaks that reached down to her shoulders, her ears had 2 silver earrings on the top of the ear for each side. Her outfit consisted of a turquoise designer shirt covered by a small black cardigan with white sleeves and a small silver pendant dangling from her neck. She wore short navy blue shorts that had two black and white striped socks extending down to designer boots.

Accompanying her was her dark-skinned Polish girlfriend. Who had olive green eyes, and dark brown hair, that was currently tied up into a ponytail with a red ribbon bow supporting it. She was wearing a comfy, red turtleneck sweater with salmon colored stripes. She had dark blue leggings with some rips in the knee area, and white boots.

“Ellie, Gabby…” Alec greeted, rather warmly. “Congrats on your…what was it…ninth win in a row this season in your fashion competition?”

The pale-skinned girl blushed as Gabby took up the conversation. “Thanks, Alec!” She said, rather sweetly. “It’s good that my darling finally gets the recognition she deserves for her awesome clothing designs.”

“The designs are only one-half of the job, Gabs.” Ellie smiled, taking the girls’ hand. “They wouldn’t be winning, nor would I be getting commissioned, nearly as much if it wasn’t for all the hard work that you, and the rest of our models put into the performances to sell them.”

Gabby blushed equally as Tom and Jake shuffled uncomfortably.

“You uh…model for Ellie’s designs, huh?” Tom asked.

Jake and Ellie both fidgeted as they watched Gabby’s olive green eyes narrowed over at him. “Yes…I do…” she said. “You seem surprised by that?”

“It’s good to see you support her.” Tom replied, rather kindly. “I just…am surprised you’re comfortable modelling and all that. Especially considering you’ve probably gone up against models in outfits made of animal fur.”

“Well MAYBE all the animals could use a big hero in law to help take down all the illegal poaching and hunters used to get their fur. Preferably one who doesn’t believe in hunting and tracking for the sake of revenge or game.” Gabby bitterly replied.

Tom frowned uncomfortably as Alec and Fiore snickered.

“So…uh…why did they specify for us to come here?” Ellie wondered, as she turned back to the building. “Are all of us competing arriving here?”

As if to answer her question the door to the building opened, and out stepped Kristal.

“Greetings to our Season 1 core 6!” She said, clapping her hands. “I’m glad to see you all made it here in one piece! I know that, for some of you, the travel was a bit long, but, we’re introducing you on the show by Season this time, so, the 6 of you will be together on the helicopter ride over.”

“So, rather than, I don’t know, picking us all up at the airports of our respective countries like the last All-Star season, you explicitly funneled us to a remote location just to introduce us by our respective seasons?”

“We’re streamlining episode 1 to hopefully be shorter, besides, everyone will know you, and any newbies will just have to be along for the ride.” Kristal chuckled. “I hope you 6 are ready to fight each other again, though, based on what I heard, sounds like you can’t wait to kick each other in the shins.”

The 6 looked between each other, Alec and Fiore looked really confident and smug. Tom and Jake looked rather nervous, while Ellie and Gabby exchanged half-hearted looks.

“So…who else is competing?” Fiore asked.

“You’ll see when you arrive at the island.”

(Mexico)

A young pale skinned woman, around the age of 26, sighed sadly as she opened her silver eyes. Stepping out of the cab that had taken her to her destination. Her neatly kept black hair hanging around the small of her back covered by a black knit hat with a white stripe and red puffball. She was wearing a plain white and gray striped shirt covered by a black jacket, this all complimented the designer black skirt with a red ribbon tied around the waist. She also had light gray tights that gave you a pretty good look at her legs going down to her black boots.

“I can’t believe I’m back here again…all because I nearly won All-Stars…” she mumbled, her tone rather dead. “And all by myself this time, too.”

As if hearing her thoughts, she felt her phone buzz, which had a chat message, a photo showing two people, a man and woman around her age, with a message below.

Hunter: Good Luck Tess! Sorry we weren’t allowed to come with! But Ally and I are rooting for you, Babe!”

Ally: Just be yourself, remember, you don’t need to play the game if you don’t want too. Hunter and I will understand, it wasn’t like you had a choice.

Both messages were capped with a Grey and Blue heart respectively that made Tess smile as she texted back a thank you.

She turned her phone off and looked at the awkwardly weird location, it was an open area with the only thing of note being a bus stop. However the place was also rather urban…just with…literally no developments anywhere the eye could see.

She heard the skidding of another car and turned as four other people got out, two men, two women all around her age.

The first person to exit was a young, white man, with turquoise eyes, and split dyed hair, white in the back going down to around his neck, and brown for the top and front, he was wearing a designer red v-neck sweater and blue jeans. He stepped out and took a big deep breath as he stretched.

“God, that was awful.” he grunted, before turning back to the car. “Come on, James! Let’s help Rosa and Lake get their stuff out.”

James was the next person to step out, he was a dark skinned brazilian, with dark curly hair, shaved on the sides, and a growing goatee on his face. He was wearing a very tight yellow t-shirt that highlighted his muscles with a minimalist print resembling that of a crucifix, along with very tight long black pants and black sneakers.

James gave the dual-haired boy a wink. “You got it, Aiden!”

“Aiden, James, please, there’s no need for you two to be gentlemen to us, guys.” Tess’ head looked over at a tall, pale skinned German woman with gray eyes. The woman had a long, red-haired wig that flowed down to the top of her back. Which was currently being covered by a navy blue crop top and a bright green cardigan. She also had a short black skirt with a pair of black tights that covered her long legs down to her similarly styled black boots.

“I agree with Lake, we’re perfectly capable of getting our very few things out.” The last woman to join the three was a Latina, with shoulder-length purple hair, pink streaks, bangs, and black eyes. She wore an avocado green, sleeveless tank top, and dark blue jeans, with a gold pendant with the Libra zodiac sign on it hanging from her neck.

“Well sorry,” Aiden replied, rather kindly, but with a hint of sarcasm. “Just wanted to make sure we don’t hold up Kristal, the last thing I need is for my first comments back from her to be passive aggressive again.”

“Oh it will be regardless, that’s just the way Miss Kristal is.” Lake giggled.

The four eventually stopped talking amongst each other as they noticed Tess standing off to the side, and they all walked over to join her. Lake was the first to arrive giving the black-haired girl a hug.

“Tess!” She said, rather excitedly. “It’s so good to see you again!”

“Heh…thanks…Lake.” Tess replied, returning the hug. “It’s good to see all of you again as well!”

“I saw that Ally recently hit 2 million subscribers on Twitch!” James replied, crossing his arms. “She’s in the big leagues with Aiden and I now.”

“Not to say she wasn’t popular before though.” Aiden said, as James giggled at Tess’ rather annoyed look. “But it’s good to know you’ve been successful…”

“I saw that you also graduated college.” Rosa replied sweetly. “How’s the art career been treating you?”

“It’s been fine, all things considered.” Tess replied. “Though, I could certainly do without the stream of commissions from fans of the show asking for art about the show itself…but…that’s the life of an artist I suppose.”

She shook her head and looked back at Rosa. “I’m…surprised to see you again as well, Rosa. How is Sofia?”

“She’s doing great! Lake has always been such a great help taking care of her.” Rosa replied. “And my big brother was able to take her in again while I’m out here competing.”

“You uh…sound excited to compete…again.” Tess replied.

“I was…disapointed, to be cast again at first.” Rosa replied, rather sheepishly. “But, even though I’ll probably be the only one from our seasons not from All-Stars, it’ll be fun to be back out here, having seen how the game evolved from outside it.”

Aiden frowned. “Are uh…you not really excited to be back out here, Tess?” he asked, rather curiously. “You nearly won last season, after all.”

Tess hesitated. “Not…not exactly…” she replied, rubbing her arm. “But, it wasn’t like I had a choice, and…Hunter and Ally were very encouraging to give me confidence to come back.”

“I can understand…having to come back without Hunter and Ally must be hard.” Lake put a hand on her shoulder. “But, we’ll all be here, and I’m sure others you're friendly with will be here too. If you need anything, or are feeling down, any of us would be glad to help.”

Tess nodded before she felt two arms wrap around her, and pull everyone together as James held his hand out,

“Reunion Selfie for our fans!” he said, as He, Rosa, Lake, and Aiden smiled, and Tess just blinked in shock as he snapped the photo.

The Brazilian man let go of them and began rapidly typing on his phone as the rest of them stood in silence.

“That uh…kinda weird…I would’ve thought Connor would be here by now.” Aiden said, after a moment.

Tess raised an eyebrow. “Connor’s coming?” she asked.

“I mean…it feels pretty obvious it’ll be him.” Aiden replied. “The announcement Kristal made said 24 contestants, 6 from each season, and given how diverse and large our casts are, they definitely are going to avoid an unequal gender split this time.”

“Not to mention the whole…Yul is in prison.” Lake said. “So unless they curve ball us and bring back Kai…”

The German girl was cut off as they heard another car coming and pulling into the cut off location for them.

“Speak of the devil, I suppose.” James shrugged. “Maybe he got caught up doing business for his company or something.

The car pulled to a stop, and, the five all recoiled slightly as out stepped a young Indian woman, she was done up wearing a yellow formal dress that was covered by a pink sweater, complete with a pearl necklace and pink heels. Her black hair was neatly, and professionally done up in a ponytail, the top of her head being covered by a fancy white sunhat with a yellow ribbon bow at the top.

The five watched in shock as the young woman handed the driver a large stack of cash as a tip before she politely closed the door and waved the car off goodbye. The young Indian woman turned her head and spotted the five of them already there and looking, she walked over to them with a more friendly smile.

“Hi guys!” she said, rather sweetly.

The five stared in shock, and confusion, before Lake spoke first.

“Um…Riya…” she said, rather uncomfortably. “Hello.”

“It’s great to see you again Lake, I love the new outfit! Really helps you stand out and makes you look beautiful and independent!”

Lake smiled, albeit rather half-heartedly. “I appreciate it, Riya.”

“So…you uh…decided to come back?” Rosa asked, the young mom’s tone was rather calm and peaceful. “Because, I thought you had a different contract compared to the rest of us?”

Riya frowned uncomfortably. “Yeah…I wasn’t…forced too…” she said, sheepishly. “But, I wanted to come back, and…play the game on proper terms. Without the villainess persona that…destroyed me.”

The five looked between each other, none of them seemed suspicious or even disapproving, but Riya could tell all 5 of them looked rather uncomfortable. Not that she could fully blame them, Aiden, James, and Lake may have accepted her apology at the Motel last season, but, it was very clear that those old wounds were reopened once their Season was rereleased with an edit to better suit the modern day fandom.

“How’s Connor been?” Tess asked, curiously. “I heard he recently got married?”

Riya rubbed her arm uncomfortably. “Yeah…we…tried working on us for a little after All-stars…” she said, her tone rather sad. “But…I felt as if I would hold Connor back. We weren’t going to work out long-term. He needed someone…more open but…with less…the polite word would be, time.”

Aiden and James didn’t say anything as the three other women from her season looked between each other.

Riya’s rather eager smile turned rather disappointed, but, before she could reply, the 6 were cut off as a military helicopter flew over them, it took a minute to settle before coming down to the ground, Riya and Lake both held onto their hat and red-wig respectively as the helicopter door open, and Kristal’s head popped out.

“Hello to my Season 2 cast!” She declared excitedly. “Are you all ready to compete again?!”

Most of them let out a cheer, as they stepped onto the Helicopter, Tess was last one to board, though, before she did, she turned to Kristal.

“You’re lucky the contracts demand we have to return.” she said, rather boredly.

“I assume you 3 are still bitter about the reedited version of your season?” Kristal frowned. “Listen, that wasn’t MY decision, you know.”

Tess shook her head as she boarded the helicopter with Kristal rolling her eyes.

(England)

A young, pale-skinned man of medium build, with short, dark greyish-brown, slicked-back hair, and mint-green eyes covered by blue tinted yawned as he arrived at the location marked on his map. His attire sported an olive green coat over top a white polo shirt, brown khaki shorts, calf length white socks, and black sneakers.

“Typical.” The man said, in his very noticeably British accent. “They give you the time to be there, you arrive early, only to find that they’re running behind since they aren’t here either. Professional International Show by the way.”

“You can say that twice, Spencer.” The man turned his head as another person arrived. She was a chubby dark-skinned woman with noticeable vitiligo splotches around her face. She had black hair that was stylized into two buns on either side. She was sporting a lime green sweater featuring a dark green turtle imprint at its center, in addition to bluish-gray-colored pants and green shoes. She also had two silver turtle earrings dangling from her ears.

Spencer chuckled. “Still as typically yesmanning to me as always, eh Jade?”

“I had to get it started early.” Jade smiled, though her tone was very robotically static. “Need to gaslight your pride into a new shield.”

Spencer chuckled as he nudged the woman. “I’ll be more observant, and hopefully a smarter, under the radar, person this time.”

“I’ll believe it when I see it.” Jade put a hand on her hip. “We are apparently going to be up against the best of the best.”

Spencer opened his mouth to retort before they were cut off.

“I see you two are wasting no time getting to scheming…” Both of them flinched as the sound of a Russian female’s accent entered their ears. The two turned as another two people arrived.

The first was a pale-skinned woman with turquoise eyes and small freckles on her upper nose. She had made herself up with orange eyeshadow, and blonde hair that was tied back into a bun. Her outfit consisted of a white and pink striped cropped tank top slightly obscured by a dark green jacket, with a pair of dark pink shorts and gold high heels. She also had fancy, emerald earrings and two pink pearl bracelets on both of her wrists.

Accompanying her was a dark skinned man with black hair and a beard. The man wore a royal red button-down chef shirt with black pants, and black and white slightly heeled shoes. Though, based on the distance between them, it was clear that the two had only just joined up, and had not traveled together.

“I have to agree with Ana…” The man said, looking between them, rather neutrally. “Not a good look for you two to already be giggling and scheming before we even get with everyone again. Especially since the two of us already know you.”

“Anastasia…Zaid…” Spencer frowned, crossing his arms. “Don’t let Jade and my’s chat delude you, we’re acquaintances after all, we had bumped into each other here in England a while back, and Jade decided to stick around when we got our letters telling us to return, but come here.”

“Yeah…it was quite a headache for me.” Zaid rubbed his head. “Thankfully Ivy was able to pull a few strings and get me a flight here so I could be picked up.”

“I suppose marrying into the Hollywood Nepo-sphere came with its benefits, huh?” Jade asked.

Anastasia raised an eyebrow at the man. “You and Ivy are getting married?” She asked, rather surprised. “Already?”

“I mean…it’s been 2 years.” Zaid rubbed the back of his head. “And we’re not like…married yet, just engaged. We haven’t planned a wedding date or anything like that…Tristan and Benji were quite insistent they help.”

“I was about to say…” Anastasia sighed. “Ivy’s a very understanding woman for you, Zaid. But I never got the impression she’d be cool with you up and leaving if you were still planning such a big event…or…so soon after tying the knot.”

“Enough about me…” Zaid waved his hands. “How bout you, Ana? How’s Marissa been? Last we talked…I recall you mentioning she was still on the fence of talking to her family about enlisting…I meant to call you and ask after that episode you discussed it went live…but…that was the night Ivy ended up proposing to me…”

Anastasia blushed. “It…actually went very well.” She admitted. “Marissa’s family had already been so accepting of our relationship. And…I think it was that positivity and acceptance from them that gave her the courage to admit her fears.”

“How did they react?” Spencer asked, curiously. “I know American Patriotism, especially for Military families, is usually taken quite seriously. So a decision to not enlist like the rest of the family is usually a troublesome cause.”

“America is truly the land of the free…and the place of surprise.” Anastasia said, moving her hand. “I was reluctant about leaving Australia to join. But, when you ignore the toxic online political sphere, you’ll find that only applies to the loud 1%. Many people have treated us well. Marissa’s family was no different, they completely understood.”

“Heh, in a way, it’s no different from the fans of this show.” Jade chuckled. “In a way-”

“JAAADDDDEEEE!” Jade, and everyone else flinched as they turned just in time to watch another woman embrace Jade in a hug. She was fair-skinned with brown hair and eyes. Her attire consisted of a black nun-style dress with gold sleeves and a silver buckle, a white, fitted undershirt, a golden cross necklace, black veil, white coif, and black-purple tights that went down to her black, square-heeled boots.

“Quickly, Selfie time!” The young Nun pulled out a phone and took a picture with Jade as the woman stared before she let go of her.

“Hello…Isabel…” Jade eventually coughed out.

“Oh it is so blessed to see you again!” Isabel smiled as she put the phone away. “The lord truly smiled upon me to give me the opportunity to see at least one of my bible besties out here again.” She then took both of the woman’s hands rather excitedly.

“So, anyway, Natalia and I wanted to have a guest come on our show at some point? I know it’s a bit sudden to ask you b-.”

“Ahem-” The Nun was cut off as Spencer let out a cough, which she quickly shot the 3 an annoyed frown.

“Yes, hello to Duma’s Faithful too.” Isabel said, boredly, before turning back to Jade. “Anyway, Jade, as I was saying…I know that you uh…aren’t super interested in doing talk shows after that…terrible feminist power thing. But, Natalia and I will gladly give you a more reserved space to talk openly and freely.”

Jade blinked, as if trying to process the young Nun’s rapid talking before opening her mouth. “Uh…I appreciate the offer, Isabel. But…I’d have to think about it, work was already quite unhappy with me needing to take time off to compete again.”

The Nun’s eager smile turned disappointed. “Oh…well…that’s okay.” she said. “You have my number anyway, just hit me up.”

Jade smiled. “Thanks…and um…I realized I never properly thanked you for yours and Natalia’s help in raising money for my first conservation effort research.”

“No problemo!” Isabel smiled, raising a hand up and putting her other over her chest. “Our fellow followers of faith and acceptance were very eager to support any friend of ours.”

The Nun then turned back to Spencer, Zaid, and Anastasia, as she looked between them.

“Ahem, thank you, Zaid and Anastasia, for being patient.” She said, giving them a half bow. “It is…nice to see you two again.”

Zaid and Anastasia both gave her rather annoyed frowns as the Nun chuckled nervously.

“Listen…I…I apologize for my…petty sins towards you, last time, Anastasia.” Isabel said, calmly. “And, though I don’t expect forgiveness from you or Marissa, I will be willing to keep an open mind for you this time around in the game…for now at least. I imagine the lines will be drawn soon.”

“It will be noted.” Anastasia scoffed. “I at least admire your commitment to your faith to admit that we were both in the wrong for our actions.”

“Indeed we were.” Isabel moved her two hands to a prayer fold. “It is the nature of the game that we must unfortunately sin to get far.”

She then looked at Zaid. “Also, congrats on you and Ivy getting engaged!” She said, startling him.

“Okay, I didn’t question Jade, because Benji told me he spilled the beans…but, Ivy and I never announced our engagement on our socials…how did YOU find out?” His eyes trailed over to Jade.

“I swear on my life I didn’t tell her.” Jade said.

Isabel smiled. “The Lord’s blessings surround his most devout followers.” she said. “I’m truly happy for two lovely individuals like yourselves to find happiness.”

Zaid smiled. “Uh…thanks, Isabel…” he said. “I’ll remember that…”

The 5 then turned their heads as they heard the sound of tires pulling up on the roadside of the plains they were in, and the car rolled to a stop. Anastasia looked between her fellow 4 seasonmates and it wasn’t hard to see that they looked quite annoyed.

“Oh boy…” She sighed.

The door opened, and out stepped a young man with reddish-brown, slightly wavy hair swept over to one side and light blue eyes. He was built fairly muscular, with broad shoulders and a thick neck. He  was wearing a varsity-style jacket in red and white, with a prominent “L” emblem on the left side of the chest, and the Canadian symbol of a Maple leaf on the right sleeve. The jacket had a zipper with a light orange accent, and the sleeves were off-white, looking a bit faded. He was also growing out a small, thin beard on the lower parts of his chin.

The young man spotted all 5 of them and walked up to them with a friendly smile.

“Hey guys!” he said, rather happily. “It’s nice to see you all again! You ready to play?”

None of the 5 replied to that as he chuckled nervously, seeing them all not return his smile.

Before he could say anything, the 5 looked up at the sound of helicopter blades whirling overhead. They watched as the helicopter moved to the middle of the field and lowered.

“Alright…our ride’s here!” Logan said.

“Unfortunately…” Zaid grumbled, glaring at him. “Let’s just get this overwith.”

Isabel, Jade, Zaid, and Spencer all walked off a bit closer to the field area as Logan frowned uncomfortably, watching the 4 go before he looked back at Anastasia, who was still giving him a rather dirty frown.

“You too?” he asked nervously. “But…in the dungeons and dragons challenge…”

“You earned my forgiveness for your two faced acting, and backstabbing tendencies.” Anastasia shook her head, cutting him off. “I, and the others, can only hope that you learned a very different lesson from the reception of others, though.”

Logan frowned uncomfortably. “So…if you forgive me…why does it feel like your body language screams rage and hatred for me.”

Anastaisa crossed her arms with a frown. “If that is what YOU believe, Logan, so be it.” she said. “I just hope you aren’t going in expecting to be able to do what you did last time.”

“I…I don’t understand…” Logan frowned.

“We, coming in, know you, and have our opinions about how you’ll play.” Anastasia replied firmly. “We saw all your faces, and made our own judgments. So, I hope you think, and understand, that the others joining us have only seen you through the show’s edit. We know you, but the others, though, I’d advise you to think about how they'll view you too. This is your warning…”

Logan sighed as Anasatsia walked off towards the building in the field as he sighed.

“So much for ‘everything has blown over.’ I guess.” he sighed.

(America)

“I can’t believe I’m back…a whole 2 years later.” A dark-skinned, purple haired girl with sky blue eyes grunted as she sat down on a bench in her provided location from the company. “I was hoping they’d have forgotten about me two years later…but…I guess not.’

She fanned herself off with a decorative fan as she looked down at her dress. She had opted to wear exactly as she’d worn last year, her red and black, frilly, Flamenco dancing dress as her eyes looked between each direction she, or anyone else could have come from, looking for whoever would be joining her.

“I see you’re as bright and sunshiney as always, Adriana.” she jumped as she turned to find an older man, he had a tanned skin complexion that highlighted his sapphire blue hair and eyes behind a pair of glasses. He smiled smugly at her as he glanced up from a notepad he was carrying. He was dressed rather casually, wearing some type of cringe anime-shirt and jeans.

“Christ almighty…how do you DO that?!” Adriana hissed.

“I have my ways…it’s nice to see you again.” The man chuckled as his glasses flashed. “How’s life as a millionaire treated you? I’d imagine it’s better, especially considering you came from poverty after winning. You got a whole happily ever after fairy tale ending.”

The dancer’s sky blue eyes narrowed. “I see you haven’t changed a bit, Sapphire.” she grunted, before spying the notepad he was carrying. “Wait…you don’t…”

Sapphire chuckled.

“Really?!” she asked. “Was one successful story not enough for you?”

“You wound me, Adriana.” Sapphire replied, clutching his heart. “You didn’t follow? Thanks to all that inspiration and notes, I wrote more than just one bestseller with our journeys as inspiration.” Sapphire chuckled. “Actually, the writing was so popular, my old failed novels have actually gained some traction nowadays as well.

The dancer rolled her eyes. “You sold out, congrats.” she said.

The blue-haired man looked offended. “I’ll have you know I turned requests down to turn my works into film and tv show adaptations, thank you very much.” he grunted. “It’s very much still just the books, and only the books.”

“You don’t think the other strong players are gonna let you do the same bullshit surely?” Adriana grunted. “So your ass BETTER not be trying to use people for a story.”

Sapphire rolled his eyes. “Now that I’m not looking for obligations or best sellers, I can focus more on gameplay now,” he said. “The inspiration I take from the others is purely coincidental, there’s no master story to manipulate this time.”

Before Adriana could open her mouth, a taxi cab pulled up to the area where they were sitting as two people, a young male and female, got out of the side doors and gave them smiles and waves. The young man had slightly tannish skin, and slick black hair that was neatly taken care of, with his eyes covered by a dark pair of shades, he adjusted his black leather jacket with a golden locket around his neck.

He was joined by a young Japanese girl, wearing a yellow kimono gown with a floral pattern across it that reached down to her feet in sandals. Her chocolate brown hair was tied into a bun with a cherry blossom flower pinned into it. The chocolate colored hair complemented her similarly colored eyes very well.

The chocolate-haired girl ran over and hugged Sapphire happily. “Hello Sapphire! It’s so good to see you again!”

“Petra, it’s a pleasure.” Sapphire replied.

“Congrats on your recent success in novel writing!” Petra smiled happily. “Erick and I actually read through the novel you told me was inspired by us.”

Sapphire chuckled nervously as he looked at Erick’s neutral face.

“It was…fine…all things considered.” Erick adjusted his shaded glasses. “You actually write surprisingly well…and you didn’t make either of us look like buffoons.”

“Like I said to you on the island, if I was going to take any inspiration from your relationships, I wasn’t going to be harsh towards anyone.” Sapphire smiled. “It’s very nice to see you both again.”

Petra continued chatting to Sapphire as Erick turned to Adriana. “How have you been?” he asked.

“Bad.” Adriana grunted. “I did NOT sign up for a second round of this bullshit.”

“I know how you feel…” Erick sighed. “Especially since we already heard who’s coming back for us…hehe. How has your relationship with Victoria been? I just…couldn’t help but notice you both have been rather quiet on your socials since the last episode of Isle aired.”

“Victoria and I wanted to be more…privatized.” Adriana replied. “Yeah, she’s still got her whole punk band going on, but…we could do without all the fandom nonsense. Especially when I see what the others are relishing in.”

Erick chuckled. “You saw Moon’s videos about it too, huh?”

“It was expected, and he was very kind about it, about as kind as he could be.” Adriana grunted. “I can’t believe he just barely made the cutoff to make it into this season.”

“Sorry about that…again…” Erick replied sheepishly. “It is…Petra and I’s fault he’s kinda back you know.”

“Luke holds no ill will against you, and I don’t intend on doing so either.” Adriana shook her head. “You made your plays, and we all did things we weren’t proud of. Even Moon, as insane as it was.”

“But you were the one to beat them all in the end.” Erick nudged. “You could totally collect another win, you know.”

“I appreciate your kindness and faith in me.” Adriana replied, smiling. “But you could totally win this time, given you didn’t even get a single vote last season and only lost because the final challenge wasn’t a vote.”

“Yeah, well…I don’t think it’ll be as easy to do that this time.” Erick chuckled. “We’ll be up against a lot of heavy hitters you know.”

“Yep…a bunch of heavy hitters.” Adriana sighed. “And yet, even still…I’m not really…looking forward to be out here again.”

Erick put a hand on the girl’s shoulder. “Don’t worry about it, you don’t have to be here long if you don’t want to.” he said.

Another taxi pulled up to the side and out stepped two more people, another young man and woman. The young man in question had very short blond hair that extended down to cover his left eye. His right, exposed eye was a deep bluish color, and he had very pale skin, his facial tone was met with a very high ‘resting bitchface.’ energy. The boy wore an oversized blue hoodie and black sweatpants.

The young woman next to him was wearing a purple dress with a black sash around her waist. The dress was covered by a black cardigan, and she had black leggings that went down to her purple sneakers. She had lovely ocean blue eyes and long golden hair with a blue ribbon matching her eyes tied into it.

“Moon…Sarah…” Adriana said, narrowing her sky blue eyes.

Sarah smiled sweetly as Moon gave her a rather deadpan look. The golden-haired girl walked up to the dancer and gave her a hug.

“Nice to see you again, Adriana? How have you and Victoria been since winning?” She asked.

“We’ve been…fine…thank you.” Adriana replied, though not returning the hug to Sarah as the golden-haired girl dropped. “Victoria’s band released an album recently and it's doing quite well all things considered.”

“That’s wonderful!” Sarah smiled. “It’s good to know you two are still making well after winning the money last season!”

“Adriana…” The dancer glared at Moon as the edgelord spoke rather boredly. “I’m very happy we’ll get a chance to play again. Perhaps this time without all the…conflicting drama that plagued us last time when we were such strong allies.”

The Dancer rolled her eyes. “I see you haven’t changed a bit, Moon.”

“Not much of a reason too, I’m fine just the way I am, just like you’re fine just the way you are.” Moon smiled, though his usual facial structure made that smile look smug and evil.

He and Sarah then turned to Sapphire as Petra returned to Erick.

“Congrats on your successful novels…buddy.” Moon said, moving his hand out.

“It wouldn’t have been theoretically possible without you, after all, the story and gameplay you helped make was used as the basis for me to learn more about others and be inspired by them.” Sapphire chuckled. “Also probably helps that you promoted my book yourself on your channel.”

Moon snickered. “Yeah, it’ll be fun to actually…you know…try and play the game to win this time, instead of being bullshit dumfuckery.”

“You say that like you weren’t actively trying to win.” Erick replied boredly. “Towards the end there, you seemed rather interested in trying to go all the way to the end with Sarah.”

“Yeah, but, again…it wasn’t the main goal to come out and win.” Moon shrugged, as he looked over at Sarah. “Besides, I did win in a way, I got the most perfect girlfriend a man like me could ask for!”

Sarah’s face turned red as she giggled while Erick rolled his eyes from behind his shades.

“I suppose it’s nice that the three of our relationships from our season are going strong.” Petra smiled.

“It’s a shame Victoria couldn’t compete with you, Adriana.” Sarah replied, calmly. “I…I feel bad that Moon and I, and…Petra and Erick…get to compete together again…but, you’re by yourself…I…I hope you’ll be okay.”

Adriana gave her a warm smile back. “Your concern is…greatly appreciated Sarah.” she replied, calmly. “Victoria and I discussed this anyway…since I’d be coming back as the winner. It’s not like she wanted to come back anyway though…I know I sure didn’t.”

“Even if you didn’t want to come back…” Moon spoke, giving her a smug smile. “It’s still very nice to see you again. I’m sure the audience back home is absolutely thrilled to see what they called ‘my biggest op.’ to return with me.”

Adriana’s sky blue eyes narrowed over at him. “You got SO much enjoyment out of your videos covering your time competing with the rest of us, is that not enough to cushion your insane ego”

“I don’t do this for an ego boost.” Moon moved his hand boredly “If you actually watched my video responses, you’d have seen I never acted bitter about your victory over Sarah. I also did go to bat for you when people called you and Luke unreasonable.”

“Yeah…” Sarah shook her head. “It wasn’t any of your faults that Ashton played her part so perfectly, and we took such…drastic measures. You have every right to be just as angry with us as you were Ashton.”

Adriana crossed her arms uncomfortably at that. “I know you all say that, but…it doesn’t change my feelings, or everyone else’s.”

“Simply how the world we live in functions.” Sapphire replied boredly, as their heads turned to him. “It is not our fault that the fans of this show have unrealistic expectations, and simply choose to base their entire livelihood and personality on liking specific characters. To the point they will often be angry to see any criticism, or negative talk of those they hold so dear.”

“Kind of…hypocritical for you to talk about that…”

“I disagree, Sarah.” The writer smiled. “As a writer, I am used to negative criticism of my work, and this show, despite being grounded on reality and non script, does have to craft a narrative edit, it is difficult to do, especially when we, as human beings, are flawed individuals. Nobody is perfect, but the audience treats them as though they should be.”

“Yeah, otherwise we look like cringe, anime, mary or gary stues.” Moon shrugged. “I mean, I got my fair share of that when Isle was airing, the point of why Adriana and the others hated me completely flew over everyone’s heads because Ashton and Nate were simply THAT deplorable of a people.”

“It’s not exactly a good look though, when you, are our, opposition WERE the only person who actually did something about Ashton, which is a fair criticism.” Petra shrugged. “However, it’s not like any of us ACTUALLY liked or defended her. Our main problem was focusing so much on you and Sarah.”

Moon snickered. “Well, look on the brightside.” he said, rather smugly. “This game will give you the chance to MAYBE improve yourselves in the fandom’s eyes. So the obnoxious people who thought I was a good person can see that, actually, I am a bad person and you guys were completely right.”

Erick rolled his eyes as Sarah giggled. “So, you have absolutely ZERO intentions of playing the game differently?” The mafia kid asked.

“I mean, some shifts are necessary.” Moon replied, crossing his arms. “I’m not gonna get away with nearly the same stunts I pulled against you all with people who know what they’re getting into.”

Adriana’s eyes narrowed as she let out a grunt, which Moon and Sarah looked over at her.

“Look, different game, different rules.” Sarah said, peacefully. “Nobody’s perfect, and the game is going to be more brutal, and more difficult, you have to be willing to do what you must.”

Before anyone could say anything, they were cut off as a plane overhead flew down and landed right across from them, the plane door opened as they were met with Kristal.

“And, lastly, the Isle of Insanity crew!” She said, smiling. “Nice to see you six again, ready to play again.”

“No…” Adriana grunted. “You’re lucky I’m even here to begin with.”

Kristal ignored her with a frown as she looked between all of them. “Just remember.” she said, narrowing her eyes between them. “All of your contracts have outlined that NONE of you are allowed to just…quit the game…unless we permit it. So, unless we get a call about a relative of yours being in the hospital, or you get physically injured, none of you are allowed to just up and quit…do I make myself clear…Sapphire!”

“Okay, okay, Jesus, you quit once in the final 4, and the whole production gets their pants wet.”

“Yeah, it was by far the worst received episode of our season.” Kristal scoffed. “A lot more people wanted you to win than you first expected.”

“That’s the fandom’s fault for assuming a person who told you he didn’t give a shit about winning, didn’t give a shit about winning compared to his ally and the two other finalists.”

“So…when do we get to meet the fellow 18 all-stars who are competing with us?” Sarah asked, curiously. “You said, finally to us? Are they on the plane?”

Kristal chuckled. “Nope, you’ll get to see your fellow competitors when you set foot on our new island!”

(Soluna Island, Present)

Kristal and Oliver both smiled as the four cargo helicopters landed on the shore by her as the Cameras kept filming.

“Now, let’s meet our All-Stars, from each Season!” Kristal said happily. “From Season 1…please give a warm reintroduction too…”

The helicopter opened as the first 6 stepped out.

“Tom…Jake…Fiore…Alec…Ellie…and Gabby!” The 6 season 1 contestants stepped out onto a mat with a mixed variety of reactions.

“From Season 2…” Oliver said, as the second helicopter opened. “It’s our pleasure to reintroduce…James…Aiden…Lake…Rosa…Tess…and somehow…Riya!”

The Indian actress frowned. “Why are you surprised?!”

“More so surprised you even decided to return given its common knowledge you were the only one whose contract wasn’t allowed to mandate a return.” Oliver giggled, as the Actress frowned, crossing her arms.

Kristal snickered. “Welcome back to Disventure Camp…” She said, looking between the 12 contestants now on the mat. “With the exception of Rosa, this’ll be your 3rd time playing the game…do you all think you still have steam to go through a 3rd season?”

“Well…SOME…of us got unfairly robbed the second time we played because SOME PEOPLE decided to be a bunch of petty ass bitches.” Fiore said, her eyes glaring over at Tom, who glared back at her.

“I see the demon child hasn’t changed a bit.” Aiden rolled his eyes boredly.

Tom and Jake smiled happily as Fiore and Alec gave an annoyed look.

Kristal chuckled. “I see you all haven’t changed, which is good news for fans of the legacy cast…So…are you all excited to see who from our new cast will be joining you?”

The 12 looked over at the third helicopter opened and the next 6 began walking out.

“From Carnival of Chaos, it’s my pleasure to bring back Derek and Trevor’s good friends…Logan…Jade…Anastasia…Isabel…Zaid…and Spencer!”

“The 6 members of Season 3 smiled eagerly at the other 12 (well, Zaid gave them a rather bored look).

“Quite the sorry bunch here.” James said smugly. “You could’ve brought back any 6 and you didn't bring back the top 6 of the season?”

“I’m sorry, but didn't like…half of you get voted out in the premerge phase of All-Stars.” Jade asked boredly. “I seem to recall you specifically got voted out first.”

“I actually won my season.” James replied, boredly. “I also happen to be one half of a nicely loved relationship by the audiences…something you weren’t a part of.”

Jade glared over at him as Aiden pushed him.

“James, be nice.” Lake scolded.

“I’m sorry, but it’s the truth, she’s the one who spoke up when I was CLEARLY referring to the little man who placed 9th.”

“I happen to be rather popular in the fandom for having a good strategic mindset. Something your dumbass lacked severely.” Spencer adjusted his glasses as they let out a glare. “If I were you, I’d back off.”

James chuckled. “Very well, may the better competitor win…I suppose.”

“So, that makes 18, the same large cast we had in the first all-star season.” Kristal smiled. “But, of course…we did have a spinoff season, one that still remains our more popular season…and there are 6 more competitors ready to come happy.”

The 18 looked over as the last helicopter opened.

“From Isle of Insanity…give a warm welcome back to my old friends of Season 5, it’s …Adriana…Sarah…Erick…Sapphire…Petra…and unfortunately for some of you…Moon."

“Unfortunate doesn’t even begin to describe the series of events that led to that decision.” Isabel crossed her arms.

“Hey, I still made the cut, whether you like it or not.” Moon smiled, waving his fingers at her. “Glad to see you did too, Queen Nun.”

Kristal cleared her throat as the 24 contestants looked back at her.

“As I was saying, welcome our 24 contestants to the biggest, baddest, roughest season of Disventure Camp we will ever see, 24 of you will enter, but only one will win…and, just like the last time we ran an all-star season…we’re increasing the prize this time…from 3 million that was present to in the first All-Star season…to 5 million! 1 million for each season.”

Everyone’s eyes widened in shock.

“Where the hell did you get THAT amount of money?” Adriana asked.

“Lot’s of funding, primarily from fans who were happy to see you all return.” Kristal smiled. “Also, we’re mainstream now, network funding is fun, especially since my piece of shit dad’s show mysteriously got canceled and the company suddenly had a lot of excess money to throw at us.”

“Hmm…isn’t that…convenient.” Ellie frowned.

“Regardless, with this in mind, we’re gonna make sure this season is more serious…so, you all best keep an eye on each other, and think carefully.” Oliver added.

The 24 contestants looked between each other, and most of them had gone from rather bored or annoyed, to actually rather excited.

“So…um…what are the teams going to be?” Sapphire asked, curiously. “Given there are…24 of us?”

“Glad you asked!” Kristal clapped her hands together. “We actually had a difficult time determining how the teams would be decided for this one.”

“Our original idea was actually going to be a sort of…old competitors vs new competitors.” Oliver said. “We originally wanted to do 12 people from the first All-Stars Season, and 12 from the two that came after. So, the people who got to play 2 times, versus those who only played once.”

“Unfortunately…” Kristal said. “A certain two males that we were going to qualify either were smart enough to read contracts, or are currently in prison. Which is why our eagle eyed viewers may notice that we have a member who kind of short circuited us the last time we did an all-star season.” The hosts eyes trailed over to Rosa, who blushed uncomfortably

“You could’ve also invited Hunter or Ally back!” Tess scolded “More people would’ve been happy to see either of them.”

Kristal ignored her. “While we could still go through with that…idea…we actually landed on something a bit more…interesting.”

“We let our fans vote on what they wanted the teams to be!” Oliver said. “There will be 3 teams of 8, the results of which we will read out…now!”

“The first team will be team Aurum.” Kristal smiled, as Oliver handed her an envelope. “And on that team…we have the following. The 8 of you, received by far the most votes to return from our fandom audience.”

The 24 waited rather concerned before Kristal cleared her throat.

“The first 8 will be as follows…” She spoke. “Fiore, Jake, Moon, Adriana, Isabel, Lake, James, and Jade!”

The first 8 to be called moved over to the gold mat in front of Kristal and looked between each other, most gave rather annoyed frowns.

(Fiore Confessional)

“Fucking fantastic…this might be genuinely the WEAKEST possible team, this show’s ever seen.” The child grunted. “You know shit’s bad when LAKE is probably the closest thing we have to a genuine physical threat, on top of that, at least 4 of the people here are going to be ops to me! What a shit show.”

“The second team will be team Argentum.” Kristal read. “That team will consist of Ellie, Alec, Riya, Rosa, Anastasia, Zaid, Sapphire, and Erick

The second 8 looked between each other with rather confused looks as they each stepped to a silver mat in front of Kristal.

(Riya Confessional)

“Well…this isn’t too bad…but I certainly see a few problems with my team here. Thankfully, Alec and I should be a strong duo, but…that writer from Isle is a tricky person to play around. Of course, I also need to be careful of Ellie, Alec might have forgiven me now that we’re dating, but I know Rosa and her may have an axe to grind with me.”

“The third team will be team Aes.” Kristal added. “That will consist of…as you can guess. “Tom, Gabby, Sarah, Petra, Tess, Aiden, Logan, and Spencer!”

“Wait…so we had the least number of votes to return out of everyone?” Logan asked.

“Half of you did, Sarah, Spencer, Petra, and Gabby had votes comparable to members of Aurum, but…you know, we kinda had to pick stragglers. But yeah, for the most part, the audience wasn’t too thrilled about having most of you back, god knows why since two of you are winners.” Kristal shrugged. As most of them frowned in disappointment.

(Spencer Confessional)

“Bloody Brilliant.” The British man sighed. “I know I’m a fan-favorite, but it’s fucking crazy that I got lumped in with the other rejects like Tom. And I’m certain I’m not going to be popular on this team given that Logan is also here.”

As the 24 contestants looked between each other.

“Now then,” Kristal said, taking out 3 maps, “The rules of the game will remain consistent more so with the forest and islands, you’ll have a pot, machete, and tent, but that’ll be it. You can win rewards from the challenges the three of you will compete in.”

She tossed them to each of the teams, which Tom, Lake, and Alec each caught.

“There will be 3 camps as per the last time we did this.” Oliver added. “However, there are 3 immunity totems, one at each camp. And, there may be additional advantages hidden throughout the game. Find them, or don’t. We don’t judge.”

“I hope you all are ready for an exciting start to the season…cause each of you have a game to play, and $5 million dollars waiting for you at the end of it all.”

“We’ll start the first challenge in 3 days' time, for now though, you all should get to your camps and get started on preparing and bonding, cause you’re gonna be with each other for QUITE a while here on Soluna Island.”

The three teams began walking off as the two hosts looked between each other.

“Bigger Seasons aren’t always better, you know.” Oliver said. “I’m sure a lot of our friends here have kind of…run out of steam.”

Kristal shrugged her shoulders. “Well, people shouldn’t get their expectations too high then.”

(Moon Confessional)

“Well…the team selection could’ve been…better, but Fiore being on my team is good enough given who else is here.” The edgelord rubbed his hands together with an evil smile. “I have quite a few plans for a lot of these old legacy cast members…plans that Sarah, Sapphire, and I are going to need quite a bit of help for.”

He laughed rather evilly. “I was a lot nicer to everyone the last time I did this, but with $5 million dollars a bunch of stronger players…well…let’s just say, division needs to be kept, and lucky for me, I know just how to divide.”

The cameras cut to Kristal and Oliver out on the dock

"This concludes episode 1 of our long-anticipated round 2 of Disventure Camp All-Stars!" She spoke. "As per tradition, comments left at the end of each episode will have your name read out by the eliminated contestant."

Oliver nodded. "We once again, kindly thank you all for the incredibly support you've given this show, and the author of this story, throughout the years. Even if you've just been a silent kudoer, that support has always been greatly appreciated."

Notes:

Thus concludes our reintroduction chapter! Teams have been sorted, and insanity and chaos is ready to be unleashed! It feels...weird...to have all these old faces back again. But I look forward to seeing reactions and speculation for this big season of play.

I uh...can't exactly promise you all that this season will be anything like Revamped and Isle, as I wanted to approach this season as a little for fun adventure rather than to tell any seriously complex story that questions morality, ethics, and heroism. Naturally, I have plans for what I want this story to be about. But, I will warn you all one last time. If you're expecting this to be anything like its predecessors and have expectations and desires for what you want to see...all I'll say is...throw them out the window...you have been warned ;)
