Work Text:
There was little Luna loved more than the aftermath of a thunderstorm. She cracked open the front door and stared in awe at the dewy droplets clinging to the blades of grass and to the leaves of her dirigible plums. The air was crisp and gusted into the flat in a wild arc, blowing Pansy’s papers all over the floor.
An aggravated shriek filled Luna's ears, and she pressed her lips together, innocently turning around to see Pansy on her hands and knees snatching up the fallen papers. Luna’s eyes tracked the movement of Pansy’s skirt inching up her thighs and lifted her pinky to her mouth, nibbling.
“It’s a beautiful day.” Luna smiled, pulling out her wand. With a rapid flourish the remaining papers twirled in the air, landing softly on the coffee table.
Pansy’s grin was acidic as she tilted her chin up. “Is it?”
Luna shrugged, “Fancy a walk?”
“After you blew my papers halfway to hell and back?” Pansy’s eyes flashed. “Absolutely not.”
Luna softened her eyes into that of true penance. “I would never take advantage of your papers.”
Pansy’s candy-colored lips twitched, but her eyes remained irate.
Luna raised her brows. “I’ll make it up to you.”
Pansy lifted herself gracefully back onto the settee and sighed heavily, “Let’s go, pet.”
With a squeal and a clap, Luna rushed outside. Pansy followed, reaching for Luna’s hand. “No funny business.” Pansy knocked their shoulders together.
“I’d never.” Luna teased, pecking Pansy on the cheek.
A few meters ahead sat a large puddle, the surface iridescent as the sun beat down on it. It begged to be jumped in. Only a few more steps…
Luna glanced at Pansy through her wispy blonde fringe. Pansy's head was tilted back, eyes closed, basking in the fresh air and sunshine. Perfect.
Three. Two. One. SPLASH.
Immediate sputtering sounded from Pansy’s mouth and Luna pressed her lips together to keep from giggling. The puddle hadn’t failed her. The water had splashed up past Luna’s shoulders and dunked them both in its icy chill. Pansy’s dark bob clung to her cheeks and water dripped from her eyelashes.
A giggle escaped Luna’s lips and Pansy’s eyes darted open, landing on Luna with surprising endearment. Pansy grabbed Luna by the collar of her jumper, her lips brushing the side of Luna’s mouth as she spoke. “Is this making it up to me?” The words ghosted along Luna’s lips and a shiver ran up her spine.
With the smallest of nods, Luna whispered, “Yes.” She froze waiting for her just desserts.
In an instant, Luna’s feet were swept from under her, and she found herself lying in the impressive puddle, Pansy hovering over her, pressing their hips together. “You’ll get what you deserve.” Pansy’s voice lowered, her fingers tracing the outline of Luna’s lips. Then her own lips followed the same pattern, a sigh expelling from both of their mouths.
