Sometime after Rae’s duel with Manaria, Rae and Claire were talking about what happened. At one point, Claire lost her temper and said she hates peasants. Rae responded by saying she would quit her job as Claire’s servant.
“What?! What do you mean, you quit?” Claire said, alarmed.
“Er, I don’t know. I mean, no, I guess I don’t want to quit. Sorry, I think I’m tired...”
Claire nodded. “Well, maybe we can talk about giving you more vacations or something. For now, I’ll walk with you back to your dorm.”
“Oh, um, thanks...”
