Introduction
I'd finally escaped—Stowed away on a train all the way to the coast; snuck onto a ship directly to C&A. I waited until dark and broke into the building HYDRA was using to study people's minds. I thought I was prepared—I brought with me the device I created in secret. It was an eye contact lens that blocks the memory wipe that happens when you put the headset on. What I didn't know was that the exit was protected by a firewall I programmed myself, but they changed it, they knew I would come here. When I woke up, I wasn't expecting that they designed it to resemble a circus. The first thing I saw was a ringmaster with floating dentures and eyes for a head. He.. clearly wasn't a human mind. He was talking loudly—a little overstimulating introducing himself as "Caine". I looked around and saw another characters: A purple rabbit with pink overalls (likely human), a small red and blue jester with brown hair (likely human), A white King chess piece with floating eyeballs in a purple robe with a white fur collar (Possibly human?), A girl resembling a Raggedy Anne Doll with her left eye being a button (likely human), A Ribbon person with a Comedy/Tragedy Mask for a face(likely human), a person made out of variously shaped detachable toy parts(Definitely human), and a bubble with beady eyes and sharp teeth (Definitely not human). Looking around at them, they all seemed upset and annoyed with Caine; looking back at Caine, he seems happy, and oblivious to this fact as he introduced the rest of them to me—Jax Pomni, Kinger, Ragatha, Gangle, Zooble, and Bubble. He then asked for my name, when I told him it was Sayoru he paused, and I could tell he knew I wasn't supposed to remember that, but he just made a small "hm" sound and said it was nice to meet me. I got by on it just fine until the rabbit, Jax, spoke up about it. Hey how come SHE can remember her name and none of us could? He was annoying, -although rather observant-. Caine stuttered, coming up with no response, so I answered for him. "Because I put the headset on with a device that blocks the memory wipe...it also bypasses the swear censor though." I turn back to Caine "I...promise I will refrain from cursing." My answer was straightforward, these people weren't worth lying to at the time. ..I never expected I'd end up caring about them enough to help them escape eventually, let alone enough to lie so they have less reason to hate me.
