Disventure Camp 5: Fans vs. Favourites (My Way)

Summary:

What if DC 5 went differently?

My own take on Disventure Camp 5

Chapter 1: Episode 1:Total Fanfare

Notes:

Hello! Yeah... Yet another new compfic from me. Hopefully, this one will actually last.

A fair few warnings before we get into this, though. This fic will be different from my other ones in that I don't really have many concrete plans given this is happening while the season is still airing. So nothing's set in stone. At the time of writing, I've got the first few boots planned out, but I have no idea what the end of this fic will actually look like.

Secondly, this is called MY WAY, and it's called that for a reason. Unlike most other fics where I try to make a good story, this fic won't be that. This is specifically being written due to something in canon upsetting me, and this is something I've written to rectify that.

This also means there will be a lot more apparent bias in the fic, as I'm going to be heavily biased toward my favourite characters. As I've said, I'm not trying to make a good story here. I'm doing entirely as I please, and this fic will be very self-indulgent.

Lastly, a few characters will act OOC as compared to canon. Not many of them, but be warned, there ARE a couple of hatesinks in here. I won't comment on how long they'll last, but if you do not wish to read about that then this is your last warning. Click off now.

If you still choose to read in spite of that and get upset, just know, you were warned.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

The camera cut to a close-up of Disventure Camp’s newest host, Emily Campbell. She smirked at the camera, holding her sunglasses up.

“Ever watched people on Reality TV and thought to yourself, I could do so much better than them?” She questioned.

The camera cut to the elimination zone, Emily smirking as she leaned over the lectern.

“This season, we’re putting that to the test! 12 Disventure Camp fans against 12 Disventure Camp favourites!” She exclaimed.

“Over the next 52 days, we'll find out and see which type of player will win the million-dollar prize. So find out, right here, on Disventure Camp… Fans vs. Favourites!” Emily exclaimed.

The intro played.

The boat carrying the fans arrived on the shore. Emily grinned as the Fans team lined up on their Yellow mat.

“Hello Disventure Camp fans! Welcome to your favourite show! I bet you’re all thinking, I can win this!” Emily assumed with a smirk. A few such as Ara and Finn smirked at this while Bruno gave her a wide grin and raised his hand up.

“Oh, you bet, Emily! I know I can. As a personal assistant, I already deal with a ton of shit on a daily basis! And there’s nothing that this show can throw at me that I wouldn’t already be prepared for.” Bruno exclaimed with a confident grin. Finn raised an eyebrow at him.

“Oh, really? So confident. So you’ll be ready if they throw a bomb at you?” He drawled sarcastically. Bruno frowned.

“W-Well, uh, I guess I wouldn’t be ready THEN, but, still-” Finn cut him off with a snicker which Ara joined in with.

“I have to agree with the blondie, seems like you’re not so prepared after all.” Ara drawled sarcastically. Emily chuckled.

“Alright, I’m already loving the energy, but let’s keep it down a bit, shall we? Now, I’m sure you’re all wondering who you’ll be playing against this season.” Emily said. Sam nodded.

“Admittedly, I was a little curious about that. Who’s on the other team?” He asked. Emily chuckled.

“Come on in guys!” She called. Just then, a red helicopter started descending from the sky. The various fans all looked at the helicopter with skeptical looks until it landed. Emily grinned as the door swung open.

“Please welcome returning favourites… Alec, Fiore, Tom, Gabby, Aiden, Ally, Lake, Rosa, Spencer, Natalia, Benji, and Anastasia!” Emily announced. The various fans all seemed to be a mix of surprised or excited by the prospect of competing against Disventure Camp royalty.

Confessional:Finn

“Oh. My. God. TOM!? Babe, whatever happens, just remember, we AGREED, he was MY hall pass!”

Confessional:Aubrey

Aubrey scoffed.

“Really? Alec!? How pathetic! I mean, imagine stanning a cancer.”

Emily grinned.

“Welcome back, everyone. Feel free to size up your competition.” She commented. Alec looked at the Fans Team up and down with a critical eye.

Confessional:Alec

“As a man with nothing left to lose, if I can’t beat this sorry lot, there’s truly no hope for me…”

“Alright, now go back to your camps and get settled, we’ll be having the first challenge soon.” Emily commented.

She threw a map at each team, Sam catching it for the Fans and Tom for the Favourites.

“Now go!” Emily shouted at them, as both teams went off to their campsites.

On the Favourites Team, Tom was grinning as he led his team to their campsite.

“Alllrighty team, just follow my lead and we’ll make it to the campsite in no time!” He exclaimed reassuringly. Aiden grinned at this.

“Don’t worry Tom, of course we’ll follow your lead! I can’t think of anyone better to lead us than the Ex-Spy and Cop!” Aiden said with a chuckle. Lake, Rosa, and Tom all laughed at this as well. Alec and Fiore looked at each other with unammused glances.

Natalia grinned.

“Oh, I agree. Tomas is the best one to lead us! I mean, a hunk with a fine ass like that? He can stay up in the front while the rest of us can appreciate the eye candy.” Natalia chuckled. Tom blushed and instinctively moved his hands to cover his ass. Rosa, Benji, and Ally all smirked at it while Spencer rolled his eyes.

“N-Natalia!” Tom got out. His reaction lead to a lot of chuckles and snickers from his teammates.

“Perhaps we can focus on getting to our campsite, rather than making inappropriate comments to satisfy our bad senses of humour.” Spencer drawled. Natalia glared at him.

“Oh, what a surprise! The demon twink needing to complain as per usual. Shut the fuck up, gringo. I didn’t need to hear anything coming out of a questionable man’s mouth. Why don’t you stop using it? You already seemed to use it too much last season when you were busy sucking Logan and Diego’s di-”

Rosa glared at them as she got in between Spencer and Natalia.

“Ay, that’s enough! We’re just on our way to camp, there’s no need to start fighting already.” She interjected, then looked between two with an unimpressed look before crossing her arms.

“Or at all for that matter.” She commented drily. Spencer and Natalia both huffed and turned away from each other. Tom frowned at this.

Confessional:Tom

“Not even 10 minutes in and the team’s already fighting… But as our self-appointed leader, it’s my job to make sure we don’t fight! Luckily Rosa was there to step in for me, heh.”

Confessional:Natalia
“Ugh, Flopcer CONTINUES to show why he’s nothing but an insufferable bitch of a manwhore. Why doesn’t he go back to topping hunks? He must have something better to do with his time than bitching at me.”

Confessional:Aiden

Aiden smirked.

“As expected, it seems like the Season 4 players already have a lot of animosity between them. Not that I’m complaining, of course. This actually makes things easier. I was already planning on making an alliance with Rosa, Lake, Tom, and Gabby, since we’re all mutual friends. And probably pulling in Ally and someone else in too, like Benji. Spencer and Natalia all being at each other’s throats is just making this even easier for me.”

Eventually, the Favourites arrived at their campsite. Tom grinned as he turned to his teammates and placed the map down on a log.

“Alrighty, Team! We’re here. So let’s try splitting up to cover different tasks. I can try and start getting a fire going. Aiden, Lake, and Gabs can go look for firewood, Anastasia, you go look for food, Natalia can help me with the fire.” Tom explained. Alec narrowed his eyes at Tom.

“And what about the rest of us? You didn’t give jobs to me, Fiore, Rosa, and Spencer.” Alec pointed out. Tom raised an eyebrow and snorted.

“Oh, you? Rosa… You take those three away and… Keep an eye on them. We don’t need any… Untrustworthy people sabotaging our camp life.” Tom said, a hint of anger evident in his tone. Alec, Fiore, and Spencer all crossed their arms and gave him deadpan looks. Rosa blinked but nodded.

“Um… Ok.” She said, smiling weakly and giving a thumbs up.

Confessional:Rosa

“To a certain point I can understand Alec and Spencer… But Fiore’s just a kid. Is she really that untrustworthy?”

Confessional:Alec

“I can’t exactly say I’m surprised by Tom already being this insufferable. But at the very least this could give me an opportunity to make a new ally. Spencer was my favourite on Season 4 and we share some views in the game, I think we could make for a formidable duo. Trio, including Fiore, of course.”

Alec, Fiore, and Spencer had been taken away, Rosa keeping an eye on them. Alec gestured for Fiore and Spencer to talk with him a little way away from Rosa. Spencer raised an eyebrow but followed.

“What’s this about?” He asked in a hushed tone. Alec sighed.

“I’ll cut straight to the chase. If the trek to camp didn’t already make it clear enough alongside Tom’s attitude once we arrived, we clearly aren’t trusted by a majority of people here.” Alec pointed out. Fiore rolled her eyes.

“As if that wasn’t already fucking obvious enough. Here to make a Villains Alliance 2, Alec?” Fiore questioned sarcastically. Alec rolled his eyes.

“No, simply an alliance. It’s all in our best interests if we stick together, since it’s clear we’re the outcasts.” He pointed out. Spencer nodded.

“I certainly don’t disagree though I feel such a maneuver may be a tad obvious. But I’m out of options for other allies regardless. And it’s be a joy to work with my favourite from Season 1.” Spencer chuckled. Alec smirked at him.

“Glad to hear that, and for the record, you were my favourite on your season too.” He complimented. Spencer grinned smugly.

“That’s interesting to hear. Thank you, I did try my best on that season for all of my games faults.” He admitted. Fiore shot the camera a deadpan look.

Confessional:Fiore
“Wow, two british nerds bonding over how cocky and smug they are. How fucking entertaining. …I really need better allies.”

Aiden, Lake, and Gabby were walking, trying to find some wood. Aiden frowned.

“Y’know… Making a fire was much easier back when we were at Camp Tipiskaw… The only kind of trees here are palm trees.” He pointed out. Lake sighed.

“Tell me about it… But I’m never one to back down from a challenge. All this means is that we’ll have to be more vigilant!” Lake said encouragingly. Gabby grinned.

“That’s the spirit, Lake! Besides, I’m sure we can find something.” Gabby said, trying to remain optimistic. Aiden nodded.

“Yeah… Well, it’s not the end of the world if we don’t come back with anything. Considering how good Tom is at this survival stuff, I’m sure we’ll get a fire in no time.” Aiden smirked. Gabby chuckled.

“I can confirm that, bestie is REALLY good at making fires! He did it Day 1 on our season!” Gabby revealed. Lake’s eyes widened at this, seeming a little surprised before she smiled at Gabby.

“Oh really? That’s impressive! I haven’t watched Season 1 in a while but it’s good to know that we’ll be in good hands.” She admitted. Aiden chuckled.

“For real. And I rewatched Season 1 all the time, So I know just how helpful he’ll be. Well, that and we were also together in the game for a long-time during All-Stars.” Aiden admitted sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head. Lake nodded.

“That’s right… You were both on Cyan Team and stayed together until the Final 10, I imagine you’d be pretty close after that.” She remarked. Gabby chuckled.

“Well who wouldn’t want to be close with bestie!? He’s amazing! He’s strong, he’s brave, he’s courageous!” She praised. Aiden grinned.

“You’ve got that right, Gabby. Without Tom, All-Stars would’ve been a lot less fun.” Aiden admitted with a chuckle.

Lake nodded.

“I’m very glad we have him here with us, I’m sure he’ll be a great friend, and of course, great asset in the challenges. I couldn’t imagine anyone else being our leader.” Lake chuckled.

“That’s all well and good, but we should get back to searching for firewood, right?” Aiden asked. Gabby and Lake both nodded in agreement.

“Right.” Gabby said with a grin.

The Fans team were walking to their campsite, Sam at the head of the pack holding the map and facing forward with a determined expression.

“Alright guys, we’re almost there!” Sam exclaimed. Evie yawned.

“Ughh… Finally! God, my back is killing me!” She complained. Finn turned toward her and deadpanned.

“Seriously? We’ve literally only been walking for 10 minutes. It’s not like this is a hike, old hag.” He pointed out. Evie raised an eyebrow at him.

“Really? Coulda’ sworn it’s been about 10 hours.” She yawned again. Finn shot her a disgusted look before turning to Ara.

“So, what do you do for a living?” He asked. Ara smirked at him.

“Resorting to small talk? From that first impression I figured you wouldn’t be the type.” She remarked. Finn smiled and rolled his eyes fondly.

“Oh please, I just needed a distraction from that insufferable woman’s complaining.” He explained. Ara chuckled.

“Guess I can’t fault you for that. Why would you even come on the show being that old? I’m betting on her busting a hip in the first challenge.” Ara said with a snicker. Finn chuckled at that.

“Oh, I can DEFINITELY see that happening! Hopefully she lands on top of Mr.Personal Assistant, his voice is annoying. Would be good if the wind’s knocked out of his windpipe. At least the hag would be doing us a favour.” He chuckled. Evie seemed unaware to this while Bruno flinched, looking hurt. Manu frowned and walked up to Finn and Ara.

“Hey… Cmon guys, that’s not cool. We haven’t even gotten to camp yet, we can’t start bickering now! We’re all teammates here.” Manu pointed out. Finn and Ara shared an annoyed look before turning to Manu.

“Wow, and now the Runner-Up in who’s the most chopped fan competition wants to give us his input.” Ara remarked sarcastically. Finn snorted.

“Chopped is putting it lightly. Look at those eyebags, you’d think he’s been smoking or something.” Finn chuckled. Manu glared at them.

“Hey, I’m trying to communicate with you guys here! We can’t just make fun of our teammates like that, it won’t be good for morale and it’s ruining the vibe.” Manu pointed out. Finn rolled his eyes.

“What was your name again? Whatever, it doesn’t matter- Look Mr.Chopped, I don’t give a singular shit about the ‘vibe’ or whatever your ranting about. If people act annoying, I’m going to air out my grievances with them. Would you prefer if I kept it all a secret?” Finn asked with a raised eyebrow. Manu faltered.

“Well, I-” Finn smirked.

“Exactly what I thought. Now if you’ll excuse me, me and my friend here are going to walk at the front, away from old ugly men.” Finn and Ara both chuckled as they walked ahead, Manu huffing and tightening his fists.

Confessional:Manu

“Ugh… Those two… Man. I’ve dealt with a lot of bullies before, my little bro Alekki has to deal with them all the time and as his big bro I gotta step in and defend him. So I’ve seen people like them before. But… Sometimes it’s hard to really talk back to them.”

Confessional:Ara

“I wasn’t really expecting to meet anyone worthwhile out here, but Finn is fun. It’ll be useful to have someone to actually exchange gossip with.” Ara chuckled.

Confessional:Finn

“Men like Manu disgust me. Walking around thinking they have the right to be in the same vicinity as hunks like Tom? They really should just do everyone else a favour and crawl back into the caves from where they came, nobody wants to see a chopped man past his prime.”

The Fans Team arrived at their campsite. Sam smiled and turned toward his team.

“Ok guys, we’re all here! So, does anyone have any suggestions on what we should do now?” He asked. Bruno smiled eagerly and put his hand up.

“I do!” He called out. Sam smiled and nodded at him.

“Alright, go on, Bruno. Let’s here your idea.” Ernesto cleared his throat and raised his hand.

“Actually, I had an ide-”

Bruno cut him off.

“How about we all go around in a circle and try introducing each other? As a Personal Assistant, I personally think it’s really good to know the other people in your workplace!” Bruno said enthusiastically. Finn snorted.

“And as an Actor, I don’t give two shits about who the people I’m working with on set are. All I care is about my performance.” Finn remarked. Bruno smiled.

“Oh, that’s cool! You’re an actor, uhhh… What was your name again?” He asked. Finn groaned and face-palmed, realising he had just volunteered to fo first for the introductions.

“Ugh… Fine. My names Finnian… Finn, Alcott, I’m 18, and I’m a Performing Arts Student. There, happy?” Finn asked. Sam nodded.

“That’s great. Who’d like to go next?” He asked. Ernesto cleared his throat again.

“Well, I would be more than happy t-”

Ara enthusiastically raised her hand.

“Oh, I’d like to go next! Erhem, I’m Ara Kwon, 21, and a Business student.” She smirked. Ernesto glared at her.

“Could I please be allowed to state who I a-”

“Anywayyy I’m Bruno Valdivieso, and I’m a PERSONAL assistant! To an obnoxious but rich socialite… She puts me through a lot of shit. Oh, and I’m 21.” Bruno chuckled. A few people seemed to be a little annoyed at Bruno stating he was a personal assistant for a third time.

Dunia smiled and stepped forward.

“And I’m Dunia Makiese! 30 years old, Canadian, and the one who’ll put a curse on you if you don’t like me!” Dunia said with a chuckle. Sam, Bruno, and Manu smiled at this, Nura, Finn, and Ara all rolled their eyes.

“Well, better hope I get along with you then. I sure don’t want to be cursed!” Manu said with a chuckle. Dunia smirked and winked at him.

“Don’t worry, you won’t. I’m a nice witch.” She chuckled. Nura scoffed.

“Oh, a witch? Wowwwww… I’m VERY scared. I’m simply trembling in fear at the prospect of being cursed!” Nura remarked sarcastically. Dunia frowned and shot her an annoyed look.

“Was just tryna’ lift the mood. No need to be so prickly.” She commented. Ren frowned and interjected.

“Hey now! Let’s not get sidetracked! Alrighty then, I’m Ren Moraga! 25, and I’m a bit of an acrobat. I work at the circus.” Ren chuckled. Bruno gasped. Dunia and Nura huffed and looked away from each other.

“Dude, that’s so cool! I’ve always wanted to work at the circus. Sure as hell beats my job as a Personal Assistant.” Bruno chuckled. Ren grinned at him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

“Don’t worry, my friendo! Once the show’s over I’ll be sure you to take you to it, and with all your experience as a personal assistant I’m sure I could help you land a job~” Ren offered. Bruno grinned widely. Ara snorted.

“Mhm. Wishful thinking is all well and good, but let’s not kid ourselves here. There’s no way Bruno of all people could actually land a job. I mean, just look at him.” Ara remarked with a snicker. Finn just laughed at this as well. Ren frowned.

“Hey, no need to be a rudealoo toodaloo, guys! We’re all friends here.” Ren said encouragingly. Finn snorted.

“Whatever helps you sleep at night.” He said with a shrug. Sam looked around, fighting the smirk on his lips.

“Alright, that’s most of us then, who wants to go next?” He asked. Aubrey smiled brightly as she stepped forward.

“Oooh, I will! Hey starshines! I’m Aubrey Summers, 19, psyche student, and a self-taught professional astrologist! It would be really awesome if we could all talk about our star signs!” Aubrey exclaimed enthusiastically.

Ernesto glared at her.

“It would also be very good if you all let me talk.” He muttered. Finn snorted.

“Then I’m afraid you’ll have to speak up more, I don’t think anyone can hear you under that beard of yours.” He remarked. Ernesto rolled his eyes. Sam looked around, frowning.

“Who still has yet to go?” He asked. Oliwia smiled and nervously raised her hand.

“U-Uh, hi… I’m Oliwia Morawska… 23 years old… And I…” A wide grin spread onto Oliwia’s face.

“I like taking dead animals, looking at their insides, stuffing them and preserving them when they die…” Oliwia let out an unnerving chuckled, resulting in several people stepping away from her.

Sam blinked and cleared his throat.

“Okaaayyy then! Anybody else?” He asked. Ernesto stepped forward.

“I’m Erne-”

“Ugh, fine, I’ll do it.” Nura rolled her eyes. Dunia raised an eyebrow at her.

“Oh? Going to make more sarcastic comments in your introduction?” She questioned as she crossed her arms, facing Nura with a stern look. Nura scoffed.

“Oh please. Nura Sahal. 28, American, Retail Worker. There’s nothing else you need to know about me.” Nura grunted and stepped back. Ara smiled.

“Oh, well isn’t she just joyous? A real big bright ball of energy we have here.” Ara exclaimed sarcastically. Nura glared at her.

“Do you HAVE to comment on everything you see that happens?” She asked with a snarl. Ara shot her a smug grin.

“Oh, I think I do. And like you’re one to talk. Don’t be a hypocrite.” She snickered. Nura huffed and turned away. Ernesto cleared his throat and Sam turned to him with an apologetic look.

“Ah, right… You can go now. Sorry for the holdup.” Sam said apologetically to Ernesto with a sympathetic look. Ernesto huffed, crossing his arms and glaring at Sam.

“Hmph. Well, about time. I’m Ernesto Salva-”

Manu cut him off with a big grin.

“Woah, I can go now? Sweet! What is UP party people!? I’m Manu, Manu Tuimavave. 39 Years old and an appliance salesman, and here for a good time!” He chuckled. His energy attracted smiles from some and rolled eyes and deadpans from others.

Ernesto’s eyes widened, enraged, and he clenched his fists.

“Hmph. That’s it! If I’m not going to be respected here, I’ll go elsewhere!” Ernesto yelled as he stormed off. Finn and Ara exchanged unimpressed looks, while the rest of the team seemed confused or regretful.

Confessional:Ara

“Who even was that, again?”

Confessional:Aubrey

“Oh. Em. Gee! I DEFINITELY need to read that old man’s star sign, I bet it’s something really BAD, I mean, seriously storming off from the team like that!? Not a good look!”

Sam frowned as he turned back to the team.

“Ok… Is that EVERYONE?” He asked, double-checking to make sure. Evie cleared her throat and stepped forward.

“Oh, uh, woopsie daisy! Think I forgot to speak up earlier.” Evie chuckled. Sam smiled and nodded at her.

“Alright, go ahead.” He said encouragingly. Evie cleared her throat and smiled dumbly.

“Mhm. My name is Evie Marlowe, my age isn’t important, because I’m timeless! And we all know that beauty doesn’t actually age.” Evie exclaimed with a light chuckle. Sam gave her a warm smiled and nodded.

Finn smirked as he whispered to Ara.

“Not sure if I’d say that… I can already smell the botox coming off of her.” Ara snickered at that.

“Alright, then that’s everyone! For real this time. Not really sure what else we want to do, so how about we all split up and reconvene later for the challenge?” He suggested. Finn breathed a sigh of relief.

“Thank god. I was already getting sick of all of you.” Ren frowned.

Confessional:Ren

“He… IS aware that this is a social game, right? If he continues to be mean to everyone he’s just gonna get voted off…”

They shrugged.

“Oh well, doesn’t matter to me. What DOES matter though is Ernesto… I feel bad for the old chap, he got cut off constantly there. Maybe I can go check up on him.”

Bruno smiled as he paced around the cave with Manu.

“Man, I’m so excited to be here! God, I know that probably sounds annoying but competing on DISVENTURE CAMP of all shows is so exciting!” Bruno squealed. Manu smiled at him and chuckled.

“That’s great to hear, man. Honestly, I’m not even all that big of a fan of this show. Like- I’ve watched some of the previous seasons, but it was always with my lil’ bro Alekki. He was more into it than I was.” Manu admitted. Bruno frowned, scratching his head.

“Damn. I really thought they would’ve cast more superfans like myself! Well, at least you’ve actually seen most of if not all of the show. Imagine if they cast somebody who had only watched like 1, or god forbid, no seasons.” Bruno chuckled. Manu grinned at him.

“Yeah, that would be pretty crazy. I mean, I don’t really think I’m gonna be cut out for any of this strategy stuff, but I’m sure that since I have you by my side I’ll be all good.” Manu chuckled. Bruno smirked at him and puffed out his chest.

“Oh, you got that right! As the Number 1 Disventure Camp fan, I know ALL about the strategy of this game, so I know exactly what to and what not to do.” Bruno boasted. Manu laughed a little, patting him on the back.

“Don’t worry, bro. I’m sure you’ve got us sorted. So how does one survive Disventure Camp?” Manu asked, smirking as he crossed his arms. Bruno began talking eagerly.

“Well, the first step is finding an alliance, right? And since we seem to get along pretty well, it would be awesome if we could align together! I-If you want to, that is.” Bruno added hastily. Manu chuckled merrily.

“Don’t worry, man. I’m more than happy to be your ally! You got a great vibe… Which is more than I can say for… some people.” Manu grumbled, narrowing his eyes as he looked across the cave. However, Finn and Ara were nowhere to be seen.

Bruno gave Manu a concerned look.

“Do you mean Finn and Ara?” He asked. Manu nodded.

“Yeah. Say, my knowledge on previous seasons is a little hazy. Mind telling me how long it is before hey get voted out due to being assholes?” Manu asked. Bruno put a finger to his chin, seemingly deep in thought as he contemplated his answer before responding.

“Well… Honestly, it depends. In theory, a good social game is a great asset on Disventure Camp. When you look at players like Logan, or Rosa, they were social powerhouses and it carried them a long way. But sometimes you really can get far just by… Being mean. I mean, Riya was an ass to everyone and she made the finale twice. I guess it kinda just depends.” Bruno admitted. Manu blinked, not really sure what to make of this answer.

“Huh. So What do you think will happen with Finn and Ara, then?” He asked. Bruno hummed, thinking it over again.

“Well, they clearly grouped up together since they’re more “villainous” players. That kinda worked in Season 3, it did get the Villains to the merge, but only the ones on Yellow. And unlike in that season, I’m pretty sure Finn and Ara are the only villains on our team, so unless people are more strategically-minded and want to work with them, they’ll most likely get voted out sooner or later. I think on a team of 12 it’ll be harder from them to survive.” Bruno concluded. Manu grinned at him.

“Well, I didn’t get much of what you said, but I think you were trying to say that Finn and Ara are… What is it Alekki says? Oh yeah, Finn and Ara are cooked!” Manu said with a bit of a snicker. Bruno grinned.

“That’s a good way of putting it!”

Unbeknownst to them, Ara had been hearing in on their conversation, and narrowed her eyes.

Confessional:Ara

“Me and Finn found and drank from some coconuts so I headed back to cave, but I overheard that little twerp and his chopped big bro or whatever talking. Great, already there’s a target on my back. Not that I’m surprised, of course. Some people just can’t appreciate greatness. But it doesn’t matter. I’ll get rid of them soon enough.” Ara smirked.

Ernesto was stomping around the Island, passing through trees and muttering to himself.

“Stupid young people… With their stupid egos… Don’t they know how to respect their elders?” He muttered angrily. However, Ernesto was soon interrupted by Ren, who swung down from a tree.

“Surprise!” Ren exclaimed with a giggle. Ernesto jumped back in surprise.

“Ah! Goodness, don’t scare me like that, young boy… girl?” He questioned, unsure of Ren’s gender.

“Uh… What IS your gender exactly?” Ernesto asked. Ren smiled at him.

“I’m genderfluid, so technically, yeah, I’m both a boy and a girl, and everything else in between.” She clarified. Ernesto sighed, scratching his beard.

“Well that might as well make sense. Apologies if I came off as insensitive, you know the older generations are… Less informed, about those kinds of things.” He explained. Ren nodded.

“Don’t sweat it, man! We’re all friends here, so I’ll be understanding if any one of my friendos makes a mistake!” Ren assured with a cheeky grin. Ernesto rolled his eyes.

“I’m not sure I can entirely agree with that statement, given the likes of Ara, Finn, and Nura have made it their mission to comment and give their input on every little thing.” Ernesto remarked drily. Ren giggled and patted Ernesto on the shoulder, Ernesto giving them a confused look.

“Oh, Ernie, you silly lil’ goose you! You’ve been doing the exact same thing!” He exclaimed with a chuckle. Ernesto started seething and his fists tightened.

“No, I have not. Unlike them, I want to give actual USEFUL advice. Maybe if you and the other idiot young people on our team would give me a chance to actually speak up for once, you’d realise how useful I really am! And even then, all I did earlier on was try to introduce myself, but everyone else cut in before I could give my introduction! Do NOT lump me in with the likes of them!” Ernesto huffed as he finished his rant and stomped away from Ren, who frowned.

Confessional:Ernesto

“Just as expected, another obnoxious, temperamental young person who wants to rub it in my face how much better they are than me and how useless I am. Well, I’m not having it! Ren can stuff it for all I care.”

Confessional:Ren

“Alright, I gotta admit… I feel a little bad over that. I guess… Yeah I shouldn’t have lumped ol’ Ernie in with the two meanies and the sarcasm spasm. He really was just trying to introduce himself earlier on…”

Ren sighed.

“But no matter, I’ll try and make it up to him. Somehow, but Ren always finds a way!”

The 24 contestants were then gathered for the first challenge. Emily smirked at them.

“Alright! Welcome back Fans and Favourites. Are you ready for your first challenge?” She asked. Bruno grinned.

“You bet, Emily! I was born ready!” He asserted confidently. Emily chuckled.

“Alright, well we’ll see about that. Now, today’s challenge might be familiar to our Season 1 competitors.” Emily noted with a smirk. Gabby’s eyes lit up.

“Oh, Oh, is the paintball challenge?” She asked enthusiastically. Emily chuckled as she removed two black paintball guns from behind her back.

“You’ve got that right, Gabby. For today’s challenge, we’re redoing Paintball capture the flag to commemorate our first ever challenge! Here’s how it works. Both teams will be given a flag to protect at all costs, at a chair. Your goal will be to go to the other team’s base and steal their flag. The first team to have one of their members arrive at the mat with the opposing team’s flag wins! Any questions?” She asked. Bruno grinned.

“Um, if we get paint on us, are we out of the challenge?” He asked. Emily’s face crinkled in disgust, shaking her head. Bruno frowned.

“Did you seriously just reference Dan, of all people?” She asked, annoyed. Bruno frowned, rubbing his arm uncomfortably.

“Well, I, uh… Yeah! I mean, it’s an iconic line from the first challenge explanation… The first ever question asked during a challenge explanation. Of course I’d quote it!” Bruno protested, crossing his arms and pouting. Emily rolled her eyes at this.

“Mhm. Real funny, Bruno. Whatever, just get to your places everyone!” Emily yelled. The teams proceeded to do that.

The Favourites time gathered in a circle, and Tom grinned widely.

“Ok, Team! Just like last time, I’m gonna devise a strategy for us.” Tom exclaimed, grinning. His friends all smiled at him but Spencer rolled his eyes.

“Right, because that worked out so well for you on Season 1, didn’t it?” He drawled sarcastically. Tom narrowed his eyes at Spencer while Natalia scoffed.

“Oh please! Tomas only lost the challenge because of that little demon child standing near us! And his strategy worked out better than your love life last season!” Natalia retorted. Tom and Aiden chuckled at this while Rosa and Lake exchanged uncertain looks. Benji blinked.

“Ok, come on guys, let’s try and calm down her-” Benji was cut off with a snort from Nat.

“We can calm down once you’re done jerking off to that bunny cosplay stream from your little streamer friend over there. Since you’ve clearly got more steam to blow off.” Natalia chuckled. Benji and Ally looked at each other uncomfortably while Spencer and Alec both glared at Natalia.

“Natalia, do you think you could shut your mouth for once and let somebody else speak?” Alec asked as he raised an eyebrow at her. Natalia grit her teeth as Tom narrowed his eyes at Alec.

“No, I think we should let her speak. Unlike certain other people on this team… Natalia is actually trustworthy. And that’s more than I can say for you, Alec. I’m sure you’re wife and son would’ve appreciated you’re trust when you abandoned them to compete on a reality show.” Tom snarled. Alec’s grip on Tom’s shoulder tightened and he growled.

“Watch your tongue there, Tom. You’re one to talk about breaking people’s trust. Didn’t you promise Jake at the end of Season 1 that you’d talk when you were ready? I seem to recall you ghosted him for two years and then lied about having a boyfriend because you were too much of a coward to be honest with him, and in the end still felt you deserved him. I’m not letting you take the moral high ground over me.” Alec bit back. Rosa sighed.

“Seriously, you two, stop this fighting! It isn’t getting anywhere.” She tried interjecting. Tom wasn’t having it though as his eyes widened and his expression grew livid.

“Oh, you did not just say that you little weasel. I love Jake. I wasn’t ready to talk to him, but my love for him prevailed in the end. I even checked up on him after Lucia doxxed him a year before All-Stars began, and I found out his parents had called him a slur and he had to move out! And I just got him Silverware as a gift for our anniversary, too. Tell me what that is, if not a loving partner?” Tom asked. Alec shot him a disgusted look.

“I may be far from a good partner, but at least I’m not pretending I was good husband. Jake deserves far better than you could ever offer.” Alec snarled. Tom directed a fiery glare toward him.

“Oh, that is the last straw you fucking-” He felt a hand on his shoulder pull him away.

“Tom, that’s enough. He’s not worth your time. Come on, how about some of us go out to attack, Gabby, Lake, want on on this mini Cyan reunion?” Aiden asked with a grin directed at the two girls. Gabby went from glaring at Alec to brightening up.

“Sure!” She and Lake echoed enthusiastically. Aiden’s grin widened.

“Alright! Then, let’s get going! Though, uh- Before that, does anyone want to stay behind to guard the flag?” Aiden asked. Tom cleared his throat, and Aiden turned to him, raising an eyebrow.

“Got a suggestion?” He asked. Tom nodded.

“Yes… In order to prevent treacherous leeches…” He cleared his throat.

“Namely Alec… From sabotaging the team, I think we should leave someone who is actually trustworthy with the flag. Rosa, would you be up for that?” Tom asked as he shot Rosa a grin. Rosa smiled uneasily back at him.

“Uh… Sure!” She agreed. Alec scoffed.

“I don’t recall any of us voting you to be leader, Tom.” He pointed out. Anastasia glared at him.

“And I don’t recall any of us asking for you input, Alec. Tom is a good man, and he wants to try and lead us. If you must be a nuisance, do so elsewhere.” Anastasia spat as she huffed and turned away. At this, a majority of the rest of the team went off to their various positions, with the exception of Alec, Tom, and Rosa.

Alec shook his head, rolling his eyes. Tom smirked at this as he put a hand on Alec’s shoulder. Alec looked at him wearily.

“Damn… Looks like things aren’t going your way, huh?” Tom asked. Alec narrowed his eyes at him, looking annoyed.

“No need to state the obvious, Tom. Did you need to become the new master of something that wasn’t being horrible at communicating in a relationship?” Alec questioned. Tom snorted.

“Like you’re one to talk about that. But anyway… That’s not important.” He chuckled.

“What is important… Things aren’t really looking good for you, are they, Alec? You think yourself a smart guy, real smart… But you’re outnumbered here. And there’s nothing you can do about it. We know you’re tricks, we won’t let you get away with dominating the game this time. Gotta say man… You’re losing your touch. Your washed, you can’t even manipulate anyone anymore. God I’m going to look forward to when you’re eliminated. I hope you’re the first favourite out and everyone clowns on you online.” Tom said with a snicker, laughing at his own joke. Alec looked at him sternly, huffing.

“Wow, very mature of you, Tom. If you’re done being a high school bully, which you’re dressed as, by the way. Maybe you should actually focus on the challenge to prove your leadership skills.” Alec remarked drily. Tom glared at him and scoffed.

“Whatever. Just know that you’re days here are numbered.” He snarled, as a warning, before walking off.

Confessional:Alec

“I suppose I shouldn’t have suspected anything different when I accepted the call to return this season and saw who was on the cast. Stuck on a team with a clear friendship alliance and people who still hold vendettas against me. But it’s no matter. If I could survive the Purple Team, then I can survive… This. Tom doesn’t frighten me. The man couldn’t even convince Aiden with that boyfriend lie back in All-Stars, and he misplayed that totem in Season 1. He’s an idiot. Despite being handed the majority alliance on a silver platter, I have no doubt he’ll find some way to fumble it.”

Confessional:Tom

“God… Alec never fails to piss me off. Mentioning Jake like that… If he thinks he can talk about my husband like that, he’s got another thing coming. I bet HE never bought his partner silverware. Fucking prick.”

Confessional:Rosa

“While I appreciate Tom… I have to admit I’m a little concerned over him engaging in such a conflict with Alec. But I hope that those two can settle their differences.”

The Fans Team gathered around to discuss their strategy.

Finn raised an eyebrow at the rest of his team and then sighed.

“So… What are we meant to do now? Anyone got a strategy?” He asked. Dunia chuckled.

“It’s simple. We just win!” She exclaimed. Nura snorted and rolled her eyes.

“Really? You know there’s such a thing as jinxing, right? Why are you so confident anyway?” Nura asked. Dunia chuckled.

“No reason in particular. I just have this sense that our team’s going to win. Call it… Fate.” Dunia jested with a laugh. Ren joined in on this too, while Nura narrowed her eyes at Dunia.

“Fate? Don’t make me laugh. That’s just some stupid bullshit people who are miserable make up to make themselves feel better about themselves. What are you supposed to be, anyway?” Nura questioned. Dunia’s laughter instantly came to a stop as she crossed her arms underneath her chest and fixed Nura with a no-nonsense look.

“A witch, Nura. I said so back at the introductions, if you recall.” She reminded her evenly. Nura scoffed.

“Ah, my apologies. I’m soooo sorry that I forgot! Oh, great, high and mighty witch Dunia, PLEASE give us your VERY IMPORTANT wisdom so we can utilize your expertise in spells to magic the flag over to us and win!” Nura cried dramatically. Finn and Ara snickered at this while Dunia’s eyes narrowed at Nura. Ren cleared their throat awkwardly.

“Uh, guys… I think we’re getting a little sidetracked here.” He interjected. Sam nodded, adjusting his gun a bit.

“Ren’s right. It’s important that we come up with a strategy. If we stand around here and do nothing but argue, the Favourites will pull a fast one on us.” Sam deduced. Nura and Dunia shared a tense look before both sighed and stepped back. Ernesto cleared his throat.

“Well, I am more than happy to lead u-”

He was interjected by Bruno.

“I think the last time they did this challenge, Tom had everyone guard his team’s flag while his small alliance stole the other team’s flag!” Bruno recalled. Ara smirked at him.

“Oh, that’s VERY interesting, Bruno. Congrats on your binging habits! How is that meant to help us, exactly?” She questioned as she folded her arms and fixed him with a deadpan look. Bruno chuckled nervously.

“W-Well, uh… What I’m saying is that they wouldn’t do the same strategy twice! Let’s go for an all-out assault!” He offered. Ernesto huffed, crossing his arms and looking at Bruno suspiciously.

“And what if you’re wrong?” He questioned. Bruno frowned.

“I… Well, I guess we don’t have to…” He mumbled as he twiddled his thumbs. Sam smirked at this before putting on a friendly smile and slinging an arm over Bruno’s shoulder.

“Hold on, Ernesto. I think Bruno might be on to something. He seems to be a superfan of the show, and I think he has more expertise than the rest of us. I say we give it a shot and listen to some expert advice.” Sam said. Bruno smiled at him.

“Thanks for believing in me! The woman I’m a personal assistant to certainly doesn’t…” Bruno muttered. Ara rolled her eyes.

“We get it! Your a personal assistant. Nobody cares.” She said mockingly. Bruno flinched and Manu narrowed his eyes at her. Ren, sensing an argument was about to break out again, cleared their throat.

“Ok, so we’ve got a strategy down. But… Who’s going to guard the flag?” She asked.

At that, The team all turned to the chair to see Evie had plopped herself down in it.

“Aw, yeah, this is the stuff. Great place to rest.” Evie chuckled as she fanned herself with her hat. The rest of the team all looked at each other and shrugged.

Confessional:Ren

“Yeah… This team really is a hot mess. I’m not sure how we’re even gonna win this challenge, honestly.”

Confessional:Manu

“It took everything in me not to blow up on Ara back there. Alright… Just calm down Manu. Just calm down.”

Alec and Fiore were walking together.

“Four years. Four fucking years, and those assholes STILL haven’t moved on.” Fiore grumbled as she walked alongside Alec. Alec nodded at this.

“We certainly have our work cut out for us. But it’s nothing we haven’t handled before. We were down in the numbers on the Purple Team, too, were we not? And we still overcame that.” Alec reminded her with a smirk. Fiore rolled her eyes.

“Yeah, but that was back when we weren’t hated by literally everyone in existence. This time we’re coming in with two seasons of poor reputation and literally no one would want to work with us.” Fiore pointed out. Alec sighed, frowning as he rubbed his eyes and adjusted his glasses.

“That is… Unfortunately true. Well, let’s review the board, shall we? Tom, Rosa, Aiden, Lake, and Gabby are all mutual friends and are likely to work together based off past dynamics. Natalia is an annoyance and I’d certainly never want to work with her, especially with that horrid vocabulary.” Alec shuddered. Fiore nodded.

“Agreed, Gen Alpha lingo is better anyway.” She remarked. Alec fixed her with a disgusted look before sighing.

“...Regardless of your preference for lingo, we’ve already locked in an alliance with Spencer, which leaves Ally, Benji, and Anastasia. I’d have hoped that Anastasia might also be receptive to an alliance with us, but…” Alec trailed off, looking off to the side awkwardly.

Fiore smirked at him.

“But the model hates your guts. Which pretty much means we’re screwed! Even if we could somehow sway Ally and Benji to our side, we’d still be outnumbered 5-7, and I doubt Anastasia or Natalia would be capable of using their brain cells and realising their on the bottom of the friendship alliance.” Fiore commented. Alec groaned, putting a hand to his face.

“How delightful. Which means our only hope at survival is to look for an Idol or an Advantage. Figures. Well, we’ll find some way out of it. Perhaps we can try and split the majority's votes…” Alec shrugged.

“When you can, try and slip awa-” Alec was cut off as he got shot and fell to the ground. Fiore’s eyes widened as she then ran away, alongside Alec who got up as Aubrey and Sam shot paint from the shadows.

Once the two had been scared off, Aubrey and Sam turned to each other and smirked, both laughing.

“I’ve ALWAYS wanted to do that to Alec! I mean, he’s a fucking CANCER, after all, both in his sign and just his general attitude.” Aubrey chuckled. Sam smiled at her.

“Oh, thanks! This was my favourite challenge back on Season 1, so I played a lot of paintball to prepare.” Sam admitted sheepishly.

Aubrey nodded, smiling smugly at him as she tapped her chin.

“Mmm… A capricorn, huh?” She asked. Sam brightened at this and smiled.

“Oh, that’s close! But no, I’m a scorpio.” He clarified. Aubrey’s expression instantly fell as she deadpanned.

“Oh. You’re… You’re a fucking scorpio!?” She questioned, seeming a little annoyed now. Sam looked confused at that and raised an eyebrow at her.

“Uh… Yeah?” He said. Aubrey sighed, scrunching up her face in annoyance.

“It’s… Whatever. Come on, let’s move.” Aubrey grunted. Sam deadpanned but sighed and nodded nonetheless.

They walked a little bit further on, before Oliwia popped out of a bush and interrupted them. Sam in particular was jumpscared by this.

“Ah!” He yelped. Oliwia grinned at him.

“I’m a Virgo! Is that good?” She asked with a hesitant smile.

“W-Where did you come from!?” Sam questioned frantically, clearly still a little spooked.

Aubrey smiled and shrugged.

“Who cares!? Follow me, my earth-respected queen!” Aubrey exclaimed while grinning and throwing her arms out in the air. Oliwia perked up at this.

Confessional:Aubrey

“What can I say? She’s a virgo, we’re both ruled by Mercury!”

Ally and Benji were were together, as Ally managed to shoot a coconut off a palm tree. She smirked.

“And who said first-person shooters couldn’t improve hand-eye coordination?” She asked. Benji chuckled and smiled at her.

“Heh, and I was studying Forestcraft… I thought it’d be shelter building again.” Benji admitted. Ally laughed and punched him in the shoulder.

“Come on man. You really think they’d have such a lame first challenge for the second-ever Returnee season?” She questioned. Benji smiled at her sheepishly before sighing.

“Yeah, no… You’re right. Probably not.” He admitted, scratching his head.

Ally brightened up again and smiled.

“But still, an excellent choice! That’s one of my favourites.” She admitted.

Benji gasped as his eyes lit up and he grinned at her.

“Oh, I know! I-I mean, uh… I know cause I’m subbed to your channel.” Benji admitted, blushing a bit. Ally smirked at him.

“Really? Honestly… That’s awesome. Guess your my number 1 fan.” She chuckled. Benji smiled but then frowned, looking confused at that.

“Wait, number 1 fan, but isn’t that… Hunter?” He asked. Ally’s eyes widened in surprise before she looked away from him uncomfortably.

“Oh, I… Uh, I’d… Rather not talk about that.” She admitted. Benji looked confused at this but sighed.

“Well, uh… Ok then. Hey, how about we find some noobs to shoot down?” He asked with a grin. Ally perked up and smiled at that.

“Sure, sounds like a plan.”

Confessional:Ally
“I… Don’t really wanna get into personal stuff on the show again. I’m here to compete and have fun, not… Not for things to be stressful like All-Stars. This time I’m going to take things less seriously.”

Confessional:Benji
“Ally’s a lot of fun, but I’m… Not sure what’s going on with her. I don’t really know why she didn’t call Hunter her number 1 fan… They used to do that on streams all the time, but lately he’s been appearing less and less, and I wanna get to the bottom of that, since admittedly… I am a little curious.”

Dunia wandered around, closing her eyes and feeling for something in the air, before a small smile crossed her face.

Ren then appeared from the tree, hanging upside down on a branch.

“Heh. This is the last place I’d expect a cheshire cat to appear.” She admitted. Ren grinned at her.

“Well, it’s a good thing that witches need cats then, isn’t it?” Ren questioned with a cheeky grin. Dunia chuckled.

“And I already got three in counting. As well as a toad and a rabbit.” Dunia exclaimed proudly, smirking. Ren’s mouth opened and they whistled.

“Ooooh, and their names are?” She asked.

Dunia grinned.

“Ask them yourself… Before I turn you into one!” She teased. Ren and Dunia both bursted into laughter at this. Nura, who was passing by, covered her ears and gave the two annoyed looks.

“Great. It seems like some of the people on this team are being VERY helpful today! Talking about witches and their pets, making a lot of noise and attracting the other team to us! Truly, a very unique strategy that will be sure to net us the win! Is THIS the magic of the great and might Dunia Makiese?” Nura questioned as she put both hands under her chin and feigned shock. Dunia sighed and looked at her, annoyed.

“And is this the sarcasm of the boring killjoy Nura Sahal? It sure seems to be good at killing the mood.” Dunia retorted. Nura scoffed.

“Not as good as you’re noisiness will be at killing what little chance we had at winning this challenge to begin with.” Nura shot back. Dunia huffed and Nura chuckled, walking away with a self-satisfied smirk.

Ren frowned at this exchange.

“Hey, don’t let her get to you.” He said softly. Dunia sighed.

“It’s alright. I’ve dealt with people like her before. Don’t worry about me, Cheshire. I’ll be fine.” She assured, trying to put on a smile, but it was clearly strained, and Ren saw through it.

Ren sighed.

“Alright, if you say so.” He replied.

Sam smiled as he walked up to Dunia.

“Hey, Dunia, how are you do- AH!” Sam let out a yelp as he stepped back in fright of Ren before sighing and realigning himself.

Ren grinned at him.

“Hiii~!” Ren greeted him. Sam simply shook his head.

“Why is everyone scaring me today?” He questioned.

“Technically, I’m trying to scare the other team.” Ren clarified.

Sam let out a breath and nodded, then smiling at Ren.

“Well, looks like you’ve got that handled. Dunia, need an escort?” He questioned. Dunia smiled at him.

“Oh, how could a lady refuse such an offer~? Heh. Give em hell, Ren.” Dunia encouraged as her and Sam walked off. Ren nodded.

Ren then grinned.

“Allright, let’s go paint some- W-Woah!” Ren let out a yelp as they fell out of the tree due to being shot.

Natalia scoffed.

“God, you bitches are loud. And that’s coming from ME.” She chuckled.

Ren frowned.

“Wait, you mean… I just got shot by… Nataliar?” He asked. Natalia smirked at her.

“Savour it, honey.” She said smugly. Ren looked disgusted.

“Ew! I’d never. You were my least favourite contestant! You were a horrible ally to Logan and Richard!” Ren complained.

Natalia glared at them.

“Well, fuck you too then! I don’t need the opinion of some irrelevant ass khia! Go fuck yourself, Ren!” Natalia screamed as she stormed off. Ren smirked as they picked up their gun and shot Natalia in the back, causing her to fall over.

“AHHHH!” She screamed, landing on a rock.

“Ow, fuck you, bitch! That hurt!” She yelled. Ren chuckled.

Confessional:Ren

“God, I’ve ALWAYS wanted to do that to Natalia! She was my least favourite on Season 4. All she did was flip on her allies… And the way she treated Spencer? I mean, sure… Spencer was an asshole, but she just decided to start hating on him out of nowhere! He just left a conversation with her early one time, and she suddenly decided to start acting bitter and petty! And don’t get me started on Episode 17! Why did she include Spencer when she ALREADY had a majority!? Natalia… She’s dumb. And then in the motel episode, she decided for some reason to lie about not being bitter against Anastasia, only to then act like the most bitter juror of all time the next episode! Sorry for ranting, she just pisses me off. And that’s not even mentioning the fact that she’s obnoxious as all hell!”

Finn and Ara were “guarding” the flag as Evie snored in the chair.

Finn smirked at her.

“So… I was thinking we paint the shelter interior Green. What do you think?” He asked. Ara grinned at that.

“Oh my god! I love green!” Ara squealed. Finn smiled.

“Me too!” He replied.

Finn then proceeded to get shot in the face.

“Ahhhhh!” He yelled as he fell down. Ara’s eyes widened as she saw 4 members of the Favourites rushing towards them.

The four of them did some stupid post before Tom grinned.

“Gabby, maneuver A1-13!” Tom told her. Gabby grinned.

“Great, my favourite! Aiden, now!” She exclaimed. Aiden smiled and nodded before running forwards and crouching down, placing his hands behind him. Tom ran up to Aiden and used his him as a launchpad to jump off. He grinned wildly as he soared through the air. Finn gasped and with the flag, then opening his arms wide for Tom to land on top of him.

Unfortunately for him, Tom landed into a thorn bush.

“AHHHHHH! FUCK! FUCK THAT HURTS!” Tom screamed as he landed face first into the bush. Gabby and Lake both winced at him being in pain. Finn blinked and stood up, still holding the flag.

“Um…” He trailed off awkwardly.

“Gabby! Lake! Fuck! Anyone, help me out- AH! God this hurts, I’m stuck I can’t get out of here!”

Tom yelled.

The upper half of his body was stuck in the bush. He wriggled his legs to try and get out, but it was to no avail.

“Don’t worry bestie! I’m coming to help save you! Lake, help me out!” Gabby cried as she ran over and began trying to pull him out. Lake nodded and rushed over there as well.

Finn and Ara looked at each other and blinked. Evie yawned, seemingly haven fallen asleep.

“So, do we just… Go?” Finn asked. Ara shrugged.

“Might as well. If we wait around here they’ll probably easily take the flag from us.” She deduced. Finn nodded.

“Sounds good to me.” He replied.

The two then ran off.

Rosa, Anastasia, and Spencer stood near the flag. Spencer smirked.

Confessional:Spencer

“Last season, my rather poor social play is what resulted in me losing. This time, I hope to be smarter and quieter in my approach, like Jade.”

Anastasia raised an eyebrow as she looked toward and Rosa and a small smile crossed her lips.

“Is everything alright? You seem a little down.” She noted. Rosa blinked, looking toward Anastasia, and smiled nervously.

“Ah- I’m fine, really. Just… Remembering how I got eliminated in a challenge similar to this.” She admitted. Anastasia smirked at her.

“Hm. Well, it’s unfortunate that happened, yes, but you didn’t have me, did you?” She questioned with a smirk. Rosa chuckled.

“Ay, fair enough. But really, I’m fine. I can handle myse- AH!” Rosa was cut off as she got hit by paint in the cheek, falling off her chair. Anastasia’s eyes widened and she grunted, gritting her teeth as she loaded her gun.

She shot some shots into the bushes, but didn’t seem to hit anything.

While Anastasia was distracted, Sam smirked and ran for the flag, grabbing it from the place it was held in the chair.

As he ran from the place where the flag had been kept, he grinned.

“Great shot, Dunia! Now, cover me while I-” He was interrupted as Spencer, who was standing up next to a tree, shot him. Sam grunted as he fell over.

Chuckling, Spencer walked up to him, looking down on him and smirking.

“Thought you could pull a fast one on me?” He questioned with a smug grin. Sam placed a hand above his head as he adjusted his eyes before grinning back.

“Actually, yes.” He snarked with a bit of a chuckle. Spencer was then promptly shot and fell over with a cry due to Dunia.

Sam smiled as he passed the flag to Dunia.

“Run, Dunia!” Sam called. Dunia smiled and nodded at him, running to the mat with the Favourite’s flag. Anastasia grunted as she ran, trying to catch up to Dunia.

In the end…

Dunia got to her mat first!

“And with that, the Fans win!” Emily exclaimed. The Fans Team all burst into cheers, while the Favourites team didn’t look too happy.

Confessional:Tom

Tom had several cuts on his face, which he was bleeding from. He winced as he put a hand up to them.

“Great. Just great! I messed up in front of everyone and got myself stuck in a thorn bush.” He sighed.

“Well… Whatever. Their just another few scars to add to the collection.” He remarked bitterly.

Confessional:Aiden
“GODDAMNIT! Already, our team SOMEHOW lost the first challenge!?” Aiden let out an annoyed sigh, scrunching up his face.

“Whatever. It doesn’t matter. Me, Tom, Lake, and Gabby still remain the dream team. And we’ll be the new Cyan Alliance. Alongside Rosa, that is. Tonight’s vote should be easy. At least there’s one saving grace.”

Confessional:Bruno

“I can’t believe we won! My strategy really worked out after all!”

Emily smirked at the gathered teams as they were at the beach.

“Alright, now, before you head off to your campsites, there’s something else I have to announce.”

“Firstly, there’s an idol hidden at each campsite, so don’t worry about that, if you were wondering. Additionally, Fans, for winning the first challenge, I’ll let you pick one player from each team to go on a little journey.” She explained. Ernesto nodded contemplatively and stepped forward.

“Well, I couldn’t think of anyone better to volunteer than m-”

Evie yawned as she stepped forward and interrupted Ernesto.

“I’d like to go on a little journey. Nooot a big journey, though. That’s too much journey for me!” She exclaimed with a chuckle.

Ernesto huffed as he crossed his arms and glared at her. Sam smiled as he looked at the rest of his team.

“If Evie wants to, I say we let her.” He offered. Bruno nodded.

“Sounds good to me then.” He replied. The rest of them all nodded in agreement, aside from Ernesto who looked off to the side bitterly. Ren frowned as he turned to Ernesto and noted his sour expression.

Emily chuckled.

“Alright, that’s all well and good, but you still have one more decision you need to make.” She reminded them. Sam nodded, and gestured for the team to huddle. After some whispering, they all turned back and Dunia cleared her throat, smiling.

“Erhem. We’re sending Alec.” She offered Emily nodded, as Alec and Fiore smirked at each other. Nobody else seemed particularly thrilled about this.

After Alec and Evie had both reached the centre near Emily, Emily spoke up again.

“Alright, Alec, Evie, board the boat to go on the journey. Favourites, I’ll be seeing you at elimination tonight.”

Alec and Evie arrived at an Island. Alec walked a little bit up the sand before peering at a rocky, mossy statue with a scroll on top of it

“To the better liar goes the spoils.” Alec read off the statue. Evie’s face curdled in disgust.

“Ugh… Gross! I don’t wanna eat anything that’s spoiled.” She complained. Alec’s face flickered to annoyance for a second before he sighed.

“Don’t worry… You won’t.” He grunted. Evie chuckled as she gave him a seductive smile.

“Oh… Good. And by the way… I don’t see a wedding ring…” She noted. Alec turned around to face her and stepped back, giving her a very confused and disturbed look.

Confessional:Alec

“They really pass anyone through the casting process now, don’t they?”

Alec raised an eyebrow as he looked down and saw a splash of red paint on the ground. Looking up, he saw a batch of coconuts tied to a tree that were dripping red paint. He turned to Evie and smirked.

“Evie… How important are your clothes?” He asked. Evie blinked before smirking.

“Givenchy. I wanted to look my best just in case. You know, my mother always said… You’ll never know when you meet a man.” She chuckled. Alec looked weirded out by this, and Evie cleared her throat awkwardly.

“Erm… When she was alive, at least.” She added on awkwardly. Alec sighed.

“Riiight. Well, if you’ll notice, taking this scroll means ruining your outfit.” Alec explained as he gestured towards his clothes to indicate what he was talking about.

Evie gasped.

“Wait, what!? God hates givenchy? Well that’s real rude of him to take that out on me!” She complained with a pout. Alec let out a sigh of annoyance, done with her.

“Oh for christ’s sake, Evie! The paint. The red paint.” He pointed upwards. Evie looked up and let out an “oh” in realisation.

“Ok, but… I haven’t found a washing machine on this island yet.” She complained. Alec raised an eyebrow at her

“So… I can have it?” He asked. Evie nodded.

“IF you tell me where the washing machine is.” She agreed. Alec rolled his eyes and walked toward the scroll.

“Don’t worry… I’ll get right on that.” He grunted. He took the scroll and blinked, as nothing happened for a few seconds before the paint dropped on him.

Confessional:Alec

“A steal a vote advantage. Exactly what Fiore and I needed. And all it took was putting up with that insufferable woman.”

Alec sat around a bonfire at the Favourites’ campsite, alongside some others.

“That conniving woman tricked me and left me like this! And look at my hair.” Alec whined as he looked sad, gesturing towards his hair. Aiden smirked.

“Oh no! The smart and handsome Alec got betrayed! How tragic.” Aiden snarked sarcastically, causing the rest of the people there to burst into laughter. Alec rolled his eyes and got up, walking away till he got to a lake and started washing his hair.

Spencer and Fiore walked up to him.

“So, what did you gain from the journey?” Spencer inquired. Fiore nodded.

“I was wondering the same thing. Get an Extra Vote?” Fiore asked as she grinned. Alec smiled and shook his head.

“No, Steal a vote.” He replied. Fiore and Spencer both nodded at this, seeming pleased by this turn of events.

“Good enough. We should probably discuss our gameplan, though.” She noted. Spencer nodded in agreement.

“Agreed. We should also try to find the idol before anyone else does. If we have two advantages in our arsenal, we’ll be even more powerful.” Spencer deduced. Fiore grinned.

“I’ll get to that then, what about you two?” She asked. Alec hummed, stroking as chin, deep in thought.

“A good question. I suppose, even with a Steal a vote, we don’t have enough votes to survive this elimination. Additionally, there aren’t many on the team who would be willing to work with us.” He admitted solemnly. Spencer sighed and shook his head.

“It doesn’t matter. If we gain an Idol, I think it’d be best if we knew what the others were up too before we come to any decision on the voting. How about this? You two look for the Idol while I eavesdrop on Aiden to see what he’s planning.” Spencer offered. Alec and Fiore both looked at each other and nodded in unison.

“I’m alright with that.” Alec replied. Spencer smiled and inclined his head in turn.

“Very well. I’ll see you two around, then.” Spencer said, as he turned and left. Alec and Fiore looked to each other and nodded, both then splitting up into different areas to search for the idol.

Spencer his behind a rock as Aiden had gathered Lake, Natalia, Rosa, Tom, and Gabby to discuss something.

“Alright, friends, I’m sure you’re all wondering why I called you here.” Aiden asked with a smirk. Gabby grinned at him.

“Is it to have a party?” She asked. Aiden frowned.

“I… No. I wanted to propose we form an alliance! A Cyan Alliance, in specific.” He clarified. Tom’s eyes widened before he grinned, patting Aiden on the back.

“That’s a great idea, bud! This is half of the team.” He noted. Lake and Gabby smiled at that, both nodding, pleased with the numbers. Natalia smirked, while Rosa raised an eyebrow.

“That’s all well and good, but… What is Natalia doing here? She feels like a bit of a random inclusion.” She pointed out. Natalia glared at Rosa while her eyes narrowed at the latina woman.

“Well! Fuck you too, then, bitch. Not my fault if you can’t handle a cuntalicious queen like myself.” Natalia chuckled with smugness. Rosa deadpanned while Lake crossed her arms and faced Natalia with a disapproving frown. Aiden looked between everyone, concerned, before awkwardly clearing his throat.

“Right. Well, I wanted to have as many people as we could get. Alec, Fiore, and Spencer, were all obvious no goes. If we included Ally and Benji together we’d give them free reign as swing votes in a position where they’d be inclined to flip on us given they’d be on the bottom of the alliance. And Anastasia and Natalia were both good options, but we had to decide on one of them, since they’d never work together.” Aiden explained his thought process. Natalia smirked at him and chuckled.

“And you chose right, my fellow trans icon. Anethesia is like, literally the biggest bitch alive. I hope that bitch goes back to Russia and freezes to death, honestly.” Natalia admitted. Everyone gave her weirded out stares.

“Ok, ignoring… That. We still control half the votes, and the others are all divided. But in case the others SOMEHOW managed to pull together, all we’d need to do is vote Fiore, in which case we could easily beat her in a tiebreaker.” Aiden chuckled. Tom grinned and nodded.

“Exactly! Besides, that little demon child wouldn’t be able to win a physical challenge at all.” Tom snarked. Gabby laughed at that.

“So true bestie!” Gabby exclaimed.

Rosa looked uncomfortable at that.

“...I dunno, as a mom myself, I’d feel weird voting for the only kid at camp.” Rosa admitted. Tom snorted.

“Don’t feel bad, Rosa. Fiore isn’t a normal child… She’s hellspawn. That little fucker can’t be trusted. She needs to be put through the wringer in order to become human again.” Tom snarled. Rosa’s eyes widened as she gasped, before glaring at him and her fists started tightening.

“Tom. What is wrong with you?” She questioned. Before Tom could respond, Aiden interrupted them.

“Alright, that’s enough of that! We’ve got our target, and we’re good to go.” Natalia snorted, shaking her head.

“Look, I hate kids as much as the next person, but do we HAVE to target Fiore? Can’t we go after one of the two british demons instead? Alec is a depressed alcoholic dead beat dad who wants so badly to be rawdogged by Connor that it’s pathetic. Aleconnor is shitty overrated yaoi anyway, I hate him glazing that fucking nepobaby 24/7. Let’s send his ass to the motel so he can reunite with his sugar daddy or whatever and get him out of here.”

“Or better yet, Flopcer! I don’t need him forcing him and his dirty little mouth onto Tomas’s dick, I want that hunk all to myself! We’ve had enough disaster twinks and manwhore yaoi plots for a lifetime, if we send him home now we can avoid that.” Natalia pointed out. Aiden blinked.

“I… Ok. But have you considered… I don’t give a fuck about that?” He questioned, deadpanning. Natalia glared at him.

“Ugh, whatever Fine, I’ll vote for the demonchild. Whatever.” Natalia huffed as she walked away. Aiden sighed.

“Alright… Great alliance meeting! But it’s time we part ways, everyone.” Aiden said, and with that, everyone split up. Spencer smirked as he heard them departing from behind the rock.

Confessional:Aiden

Aiden sighed, facepalming.

“I don’t know what I was thinking competing again. You’d THINK having a bunch of allies right off the bat would make working together with them easy, but somehow, we already have a bunch of conflicts!”

“Whatever, it doesn’t matter anyway. We still hold half the votes and have a target. Fiore is gone tonight, and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop that.”

Confessional:Natalia

“Ugh, I can’t believe that fucking twink! Fuck Aiden, Jaiden is shitty yaoi anyway! TomJake was way hotter! Not that I like Jake, though, I prefer hunks.”

Confessional:Rosa

“Tom deeply concerns me. As a mother, I’d never want to let him anywhere near my child. What was he even going on about, anyway? “Putting a child through the wringer?” Since when was using physical punishment as a way to improve a child acceptable? Bad children won’t change if they’re physically punished, that kind of discipline will only encourage them to be more cruel!”

Spencer smirked as he stood before Anastasia, Ally, Benji, Alec, and Fiore.

“Greetings. I’m sure you’re all wondering why I’ve gathered you all here today.” He commenced smugly. Anastasia crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at him, fixing the mathlete with a suspicious look.

“Spit it out, Spencer. I do not particularly trust you, so I do not see why I should waste much time listening to you.” Anastasia snarled. Spencer chuckled.

“Do not worry, Anastasia. I think I’ll make this well worth your time. Now, to put it simply, Aiden has formed a Cyan Alliance with an intention of taking the majority of the team, and he is planning to target Fiore tonight.” Spencer explained. Fiore crossed her arms and huffed.

“Oh, great! A target yet again. How surprising.” She drawled sarcastically. Alec hummed.

“Hm… The Cyan Alliance. Given that’s a callback to the team name in All-Stars, I assume Aiden has grouped up Tom, Lake, and Gabby, and, given their lack of presence here, Rosa and Natalia?” He questioned. Spencer nodded.

“Yes, that is indeed correct.” Spencer confirmed. Ally raised an eyebrow.

“Ok, but… Even if we form a counter-alliance against them, wouldn’t it just end in a tie?” She pointed out. Fiore nodded.

“Yeah, and I hate to say it, but with me as their target, they’d be almost sure to win any tiebreaker challenge they throw at us against me. We can’t really just hinge our bets on me winning a tiebreaker.” She pointed out.

“Orrrr we could vote for someone who’s easy for you to beat?” Benji suggested awkwardly. Fiore deadpanned.

“That wouldn’t work, jackass. Their all grown-ass adults, and I’m fucking 10! Use your brain, geez.” She scoffed. Benji sighed and frowned, crossing his arms.

“Ok, yeah… You’ve got a point.” He admitted solemnly.

Anastasia snorted.

“And that’s not the only issue. I have little reason to wish to work with anyone here long-term over the people in the opposing alliance. I certainly do not like or trust a majority of you in this alliance. What good reasoning would there be for me to vote for someone in that alliance over someone here?” She questioned. Spencer rolled his eyes.

“While ignoring the obvious predicament of you flipping placing you on the bottom of the other alliance, I actually have a target in mind that I think will be rather agreeable for everyone.” He exclaimed smugly. Ally rubbed her arm uncomfortably.

“Really? I get it’s strategically sound, but I don’t know if I can really vote against them. Some of these people are friends outside the game.” Ally admitted. Spencer’s smirk grew smugger.

“And would you consider Natalia a friend?” He questioned. Ally blinked, and shook her head.

“No. Why?” She asked. Spencer chuckled.

“Because she’s exactly the perfect target. Ideally, I’d take out a bigger threat. But for this temporary grouping of players to actually work out, we must unite against a common enemy. Natalia has been rather crass and rude, and none of us are particularly close with her. I certainly doubt she’ll be missed.” Spencer chuckled. Benji and Ally looked at each other uncertainly, while Anastasia smirked.

“Hm. Well when you put it like that… I certainly have no objections to this target.”

Benji sighed.

“Me neither. I’m not really close with her anyway. But… Don’t we still have to do something about the tie?” He questioned. Alec looked toward Spencer as they shared a meaningful look, where Spencer subtly shook his head. Alec visibly relaxed at that.

“Don’t worry, I have something in mind.”

Confessional:Spencer

“Proposing Natalia as the target is a gambit I’m rather happy with. I analysed each and every potential option, and ultimately, came to the decision that she is the most optimal target for my own best interests moving forward. While far from the most threatening option, I believe it’s imperative that dead weight that lowers our overall challenge capabilities be disposed of early on before it’s danger level increases and causes the team more losses. Additionally, she was the only target I could see all parties I needed the support of going into tonight’s vote actually agreeing on. None of my temporary allies share a particular close bond with her. Thus, her abhorrent sociability made her a prime target.”

Confessional:Anastasia

“Admittedly, I have… grown, since last season. Upon coming on and seeing Natalia would also be on the cast, I had thoughts that we may potentially rekindle our friendship. But alas, it does not seem like that will be the case. Considering Natalia’s current petty attitude, I cannot see myself ever befriending her. I do not particularly trust Spencer, either, but his proposal is sound and he has a point about the other alliance. Once Natalia is gone, I must make inroads with some people here.”

Confessional:Alec

“I’m unsure as to what Spencer has planned, but whatever it is, I hope it works out. In any case, I’m glad I don’t have to use the steal a vote just yet. I’d rather keep that ace up my sleeve until absolutely necessary.”

Spencer grinned as he walked up to Natalia, who was relaxing against a palm tree, later on. Natalia let out a sigh of annoyance and narrowed her eyes at the Mathlete.

“What the fuck are YOU doing here, gringo?” She snarled. Spencer simply smirked at her, keeping his hands crossed behind his back.

“Ah, Natalia! Just the person I was looking for. I simply wished to inform you of how absolutely, utterly horrendous you are at this game.” Spencer explained, his smirk widening. Natalia’s eyes widened before she huffed and glared at him.

“Oh, fuck off, Manwhore! You’re one to talk about being bad at the game, your ass only made it to final 9 because of twists!” Natalia accused. Spencer chuckled.

“Maybe so, but it was better than you’re dumpster fire of a game. Flipping on allies left and right, lying to people and smoothing things over with supposed “PR” magic… And let’s not forget your final 10 move. The one that, you know, got you eliminated.” Spencer grinned devilishly as he reminded her of her fumble. Natalia started seething.

“You’ll shut up now if you know what’s good for you, you little demon twink!” She warned. Spencer laughed.

“I don’t think I will, actually. I quite enjoy poking fun at your terrible gameplay. I mean, turning on your majority alliance and including 7 people, when you only needed 6, including me, who was widely hated by a majority of the cast? How idiotic! And then you got voted out by almost everyone, and only Logan stuck by your side! And even now, you continue to be petty. That’s all you are, Natalia. An idiotic woman using lingo and gossip to make yourself feel superior over others and being spiteful and petty because you can’t get over the fact that others are smarter than you are.” Spencer ranted with that same smug grin on his face.

He moved closer to Natalia and leaned down, grinning wickedly as he stared her in the eyes. Natalia’s fists tightened as she started shaking uncontrollably. She then moved her arms and pulled Spencer up by his shirt, whirling him around until she had him pinned against a palm tree.

“You listen here you little gringo. I’m DONE listening to you! You think you’re so much better me because you a stupid little fucking smarmy smart nerd. Well guess what? I don’t care! I’m Natalia fucking Baez, and I’m going to do whatever I want! I’m going to make my moves, play with my heart, and fucking kill every manwhore twink I come across if it gets me to those million fucking dollars. I’m going to eliminate your ass tonight and send you crying back home to Daddy Diego and his massive dick. Fuck off.” Natalia snarled. Spencer simply kept the same smug expression on his face.

“Ah, there’s that delightful bitterness! You never cease to amaze me, Natalia. And by amaze me, I mean amaze me with your brutish and barbaric behaviour. Now, if you’re done, would you mind letting me down now? I do have some business to attend to, and, ah, I believe certain failing publicists are getting in my way at the moment.” He remarked. Natalia grunted.

“No. I’m not fucking letting you go.” She snarled. Spencer raised an eyebrow at her.

“Oh, but Natalia! You do realise that killing me is going to get you disqualified, right?” He questioned, before hesitating for a second and letting a small smirk cross his lips.

“Oh, wait, who am I kidding here? That’s making the assumption that you even have enough brain matter within that thick skull of yours to even comprehend such a thing.” Spencer snarked with a chuckle. Natalia grunted in annoyance but dropped him. Spencer smiled, dusting himself off before crossing his hands behind his back and smiling pleasantly at her.

“Now, I do believe we are done here now, yes? A pleasure doing business with you as always, Natalia. Good luck at the elimination, and take care.” Spencer bowed and walked away, smirking to himself as Natalia trembled with rage, glaring at Spencer’s retreating form.

Confessional:Natalia

“God that little gringo… PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF! Who does he think he is talking to me like that!? I’m sick of his smug, british ass talking down to everyone just because he thinks he’s better than all of us! That’s it, I’m voting for him tonight! I don’t care if he’s not going home, it’s all about making a statement! Besides, we should have the numbers anyway. No way the other 6 could pull together to stop us.”

Confessional:Spencer

“And everything went as I had planned. I did momentarily consider using Alec’s vote steal, but it would be shame to lose such an asset so early on, would it not? No, I believe that is better reserved for… Other… Matters.” Spencer gave the camera a devious smirk.

“In any case, I knew I could take advantage of Natalia’s petty behaviour and dislike toward me in order to intentionally aggravate her so she would act emotionally and vote against her alliance. All it took was a little… Push, to send her over the edge, and I’d be golden. Of course, her vote isn’t guaranteed yet, but I’m rather confident that my little ploy will work out tonight. Only time will tell, I suppose.”

The 12 contestants were gathered for the voting. Emily smirked at them.

“Welcome back Favourites! I have to admit, I didn’t think I’d be seeing you all again so soon! Well, you all know how this works. Get voting!”

Several voting confessionals were aired.

Aiden held up a vote for Fiore.

“It’s nothing personal, Fiore. Honestly, I can even almost respect your dominance in Season 1. But I need to get the majority, and you’re the easiest person to beat in a tiebreaker, so you’re the safest vote.”

Tom held up a vote for Fiore, glaring into the camera.

“Fuck off. After EVERYTHING you did to me and Jake, you have to pay. I’m not letting you get away this time.”

Spencer smirked as he held up a vote for Natalia.

“Goodbye, Natalia. You’ve been nothing but a nuisance in the two times we’ve played together. Here’s to hoping this is the last time I ever have to write your name down.”

Natalia glared as she held up a vote for Spencer.

“Fuck off, Flopcer! I’ve had enough of your british demon twink ass for a lifetime. You can take you and your flatass onto the Boat Of Losers!” Natalia yelled.

Eventually, Emily had tallied the votes.

“Alright, I’ve counted the votes. Once the votes are read the decision is final. Person voted out will have to leave the area immediately. Now, if anyone has an Idol or Advantage and would like to play it, now would be the time to do so.”

Benji and Ally looked to Natalia while the Cyan Alliance looked to Fiore. Nobody stood up, so Emily began reading off the votes.

“Alright then. I’ll read the votes. First vote…

Fiore. That’s 1 vote Fiore.”

Fiore rolled her eyes.

“...

Fiore. 2 votes Fiore.”

Tom smirked at Fiore while she glared back at him. Alec raised an eyebrow at Emily, clearly uninterested. Rosa rubbed her arm uncomfortably.

“...

Fiore. 3 votes Fiore.”

Fiore crossed her arms and directed an intense glare toward Emily.

“...

Fiore.”

“...

Fiore. That’s 5 votes Fiore, 7 votes left.” Fiore looked more uncertain now, but Alec placed a hand on her shoulder. Benji and Ally looked at each other uncertainly. Tom and Aiden directed smug grins toward one another, Lake and Gabby exchanged smiles.

“Next vote…

Spencer. That’s 5 votes Fiore, 1 vote Spencer.” Tom, Aiden, Lake, and Gabby all seemed confused by this, as did Ally and Benji. Spencer couldn’t help but smirk at this outcome as Alec looked towards him and smiled in realisation. Natalia smirked over at Spencer.

“...

Natalia. 5 votes Fiore, 1 vote Spencer, 1 vote Natalia.” Natalia’s smirk dissipated as she frowned at Emily before glaring at Spencer, who grinned smugly at her. Alec smirked. Tom and Aiden both looked incredibly confused now, as did the rest of the Cyan Alliace.

“...

Natalia. 2 votes Natalia.” Tom and Aiden exchanged uncertain looks. Natalia’s fists tightened.

“...

Natalia. That’s 3 votes Natalia.” Natalia glared over at Alec, Fiore, and Spencer, who all had smug, self-satisfied expressions on their faces. Benji and Ally exchanged guilty looks, while Anastasia smirked at Natalia.

“...

Natalia. 5 votes Fiore, 4 votes Natalia, 1 vote Spencer. 2 votes left…”

Tom glared at Fiore who grinned back at him. Rosa, Lake, and Gabby all seemed uncertain. Natalia rolled her eyes.

“...

Natalia. That’s 5 votes Natalia, 5 votes Fiore, 1 vote Spencer, 1 vote left. First person voted out of Disventure Camp…”

Spencer and Anastasia both grinned menacingly at Natalia. Natalia’s fists tightened and she started shaking with rage. She stood up and glared straight ahead at Emily. Tom and AIden exchanged annoyed looks.

“...

Natalia! That’s 6 votes and enough, you’re out!” Emily announced. Natalia shook her head, before turning to the people who had voted her out and fixing them all with glares. Anastasia, Alec, Fiore, and Spencer all had smug grins or smirks on their faces.

“Well, isn’t this poetic? Bested by me yet again. Not that there was ever any doubt.” Anastasia remarked smugly as she checked her nails. Spencer chuckled.

“I can certainly attest to that. Thanks for the vote, by the way. I do quite enjoy seeing my own name spelled out. Though, I’d have preferred it to have been in better handwriting.” Spencer chuckled. Natalia growled.

“Shut the fuck up, you two! I don’t give a fuck about what Anethesia and Flopcer have to say!” She yelled. Spencer raised an eyebrow at her.

“Oh really? Because you seemed to care an awful lot about what I said earlier on, if I recall correctly. My, I wonder what has resulted in such a change in tune now? Come now Natalia, enlighten us to your perspective! I’m rather intrigued to learn what’s caused such an unexpected change in your behaviour!” Spencer exclaimed sarcastically. Alec chuckled.

“Good riddance, I say. You were loud and obnoxious, and that lingo isn’t doing you any favours. Maybe go out and get some experience in the real world. Then people will be able to actually understand you.” Alec shaded. Fiore chuckled.

“Yeah! Besides, gen alpha lingo is way better anyway. It’s not as cool when you’re doing it as a grown woman in her late 20’s.” Fiore shaded. Tom growled.

“Oh, fuck off! Natalia is a better person than you could ever hope to be! Not that you’re human, though. You’re a little demon menace, aren’t you?” He asked with a snarl. Rosa glared at him.

“Tom, that’s enough!” She interjected. Tom rolled his eyes and turned away from Fiore. Natalia took a deep breath in and closed her eyes, before letting it out and facing her opps.

“Alright, let’s get this over with. Spencer, you’re a disgusting fucking manwhore who’s desperate for his shitty melodramatic yaoi and will get dicked down by whatever guy is willing to fuck you. Alec, you’re a depressed alcoholic and his mid 30s and your wife will never love you, you’re son will grow to hate you. Good on him, because you’re a fucking bitch! Anethesia, I hope you go back to Russia and you jump off a tower in Moscow or something! Maybe whatever happened to your little lesbian lover Alyona can happen to you, too. Fiore, you’re a dumb little bitch of a demon child who deserves to rot in hell! And no, skibidi toilet isn’t fucking funny!”

“Ally and Benji… Just fuck already! We all know you have more chemistry then those fucking slop ships Huntally and Trinji anyways. Besides that, you’re both incel losers. Hope you have fun being cowards and fucking each other. That’s all I have to say.”

Natalia huffed as she turned and jumped onto the boat.

Eventually, she got taken to Rescue Island and got prepared with a choice. Natalia smirked.

“Well, a cunty queen like me isn’t gonna give up if she’s got another chance.” Natalia chuckled as she picked up a torch and headed toward Rescue Island.

Confessional:Fiore

“FUCK yes! I survive yet again! To all my doubters, you just got proved wrong! Honestly, I’m glad Natalia’s gone. She was a pain in the ass. But still, that doesn’t mean I’m not worried over the future.”

Confessional:Spencer

“As expected, Natalia fell for my trap. As well executed as a plan that was, I must remain vigilant. She was only a straggler of the Cyan Alliance that was dragged along as a means to an end. The real threat remains unified and almost has a majority in the team. They only need one vote and they shall have total control. And our little opposition group clearly won’t last past tonight. I have to do something to ensure we band together one last time, and take the head off the snake so it all falls apart.”

Confessional:Aiden

Aiden sighed in annoyance.

“Goddamnit! Losing out on the first elimination! Fucking fantastic!”

“Whatever, it doesn’t matter. Natalia wasn’t an important number anyways, and she’s easily replaceable. It’s clear the other side is divided and most likely won’t come together again. The Cyan Alliance is still standing strong, and NOTHING is going to stop us from dominating this game.”

Notes:

And there's our first boot!

So, Natalia gone. A bold choice to eliminate a Favourite first, some might say. Something I think a lot of people thought would end up happening in canon, but it didn't lmao.

There are a few choices for this decision. Firstly, I think eliminating a favourite first gives me more free room to explore the Fans, something that canon hasn't been able to do as much. This way, every fan will get at least 3 episodes to shine. Additionally, Aubrey is pretty funny to me as a gag character and I enjoy writing her, so I want to use her more. Besides, I feel nothing's better to start us off then a nice does of canon divergence.

As for Natalia herself, she was never going to make it far here. If I had decided to do a proper rewrite even post-canon, she likely would've been cut from the cast. She was a pretty easy fodder pick for me given, if it wasn't already obvious enough by this chapter, I despise her, and she's my least favourite character in the entirety of dc. I have had plans in the past to give her deeper runs, but keeping her around for longer here wasn't something I was that interested in.

She ended up being a big hatesink here, and I'm sure she wasn't that enjoyable to read. Or maybe she was. Either way, I dialled up her pettiness and unhingedness by 10, and also made her idiotically throw her vote to make the elimination work. She's also one of only two hatesinks I have planned right now, so eliminating one first honestly does nothing but improve my writing quality. We'll see if Tom will be able to survive Episode 3, I suppose.

Apologies if this episode kinda sucked. I'm not really trying to write a compelling story though, so it's to be expected.

In terms of other stuff this chapter, I decided to actually reference the Huntally breakup. I'll be entirely honest, there are a few of the Favourites I have no idea what to do with, and actually expanding on her breakup gives Ally something to do, given she has jackshit in canon at the moment.

I felt as if the introduction scene at the Fans team was a little repetitive, but it can't be helped.

That's about all I have to say. See you next time... Whenever that is.
