The moons of Avrosa where low in the sky watching over the sun bathed flower filled clearing. An invisible orchestrion started signalling to the guests things were under way. The man standing at the alter nervously fidgeted with his hands behind his back, eyes glued to the aisle, a hand rested gently on his shoulder.
Ireena was a dawned in an ash grey form fitting dress, long sword in hand, as she steadily made her way towards the altar. She was as pretty as the day she was first meant to walk down the aisle, though the groom wasn't looking at her but rather his bride behind her.
Zielle stood, dress hugging her as it trailed off behind her. silver threads telling her story through beaded stars reaching up the white of the dress, laced leaves tightly spilled down her arms.
All eyes were on her, smiles wide for this was truly a joyous day. Dahlia stood tall and proud. She was healthier then Zielle had ever seen, next to her was Ezmeralda, to Zielles surprised had Ramzies wrapped around her feet.
Bheren, the spitting image of his brother gave a shallow bow, hilt of Theren Peeking over his shoulder. He was accompanied by two boys that had adopted the same coal markings as Alizzato. Their smiles infectious, not that Zielle wasn't already displaying the largest grin there.
When she made it to Kayd he held out a hand to help with the last step. "Wow, stunning"
"I should hope so, I am to be your wife after all and besides, I'm Zielle, here to slay in all meanings of the word. Hopefully just the one today" Zielle winked, Kayd flustered.
As the music came to an end, Sune began the ceremony. "we are gathered here today to witness the union between Zielle Xiathri and Kayd Sarthana," pride radiated from her words. "Would the rings please be brought forward"
A hulking brown bear made its way down the isle with a pair of rings hanging from a ribbon around his neck. While Kayd retrieved one of the rings, Alizzato grumbled out "you better take care of our girl. I'm not opposed to hurting a god"
Unsure how to respond Kayd stood and gave a little bow of acknowledgement. When Zielle reached down to untie the larger of the two onyx and gold bands she left a kiss on his brow "don't worry he won't get far if he does"
Taking Zielle's hand and a deep breath Kayd began. "I, Kayd Sarthana. May be the god of grief, but you Zielle make me a mare mortal. I will be the luckiest being in the world to call you my wife. I pledge my power and being to aid you in your goals for as long as you shell have me" following his words he slipped the ring on where it sat nestled next to the one he gave her years ago when this was nothing more then a symbol of a bargain made between a mortal warrior and a trapped god.
Wiping away a few stray tears, Zielle followed suit. "I, Zielle Xiathri swear to be the light, guiding you when you are lost, aiding you to live the life you deserve. To show you what it means to be mortal" with her words Kayd held out his pinky. In-tangling her own, he brought her hand up to kiss it.
Exchanging vows, Sune pronounced them husband and wife. Pulling Kayd in by his shirt collar, Zielle spun him into a dip kiss, letting her wings unfurl.

After mingling with the guests and many who were not immediate friends had left, Zielle was approached by the morning lord. "I have a favour that's been asked of me, If you would" he held his arm out for Zielle to follow. He lead her away from the alter towards the setting sun, where two figures were heading to greet them. shocked at what she was seeing, Zielle froze, not daring to look away in fear that what she sees will disappear. "They will not disappear quite yet my dear, I have brought them here for but a moment to see you on your big day."
"But why?" Her eyes shone with fresh tears.
"A gift from the man that now shares your name, that is all you need to know. now go I cant keep them here for long"
Hoicking up her skirts, she ran meeting the two men half way, throwing her arms around them. The three of them stayed like that till Tannis broke the silence. "You sure know how to pick them Zi. Stubborn. foolish. Handsome," he wiggled his eyebrows "I'm happy for you, you truly deserve this. congratulations"
Zielle had to roll her eyes at this, of course even like this Tannis was full of himself. letting her boys go she stepped back and gave a spin, "I don't know Tannis, I think it was worth it"
"Yes congratulations Zi, though I still don't understand why it had to be him" Theren huffed.
The three spent the little time together chatting, saying there last goodbyes as the sun set and once it was nothing more, the boys had completely faded as if never there. when Zielle turned back she spotted Kayd bowing to a vanishing light before turning back to her. she never thought she would be running this much on her wedding day but here she was.
"Thank you" she whispered so not even the universe could here the gratitude only meant for him.
