A big night for Detective Elisa Maza; despite all the odds and difficulties in having a romantic relationship with Goliath the leader of the gargoyle Manhattan Clan, they would be getting married in what was both a human wedding and a gargoyle Commitment Ceremony. Would be as legal and official as can be; despite the protests and attempts of anti-gargoyles officials and protestors, the gargoyles were granted personhood in Goliath's hearing. Hudson took the tests to be an official wedding minister.
They were holding it at night in a human church; Elisa wearing a white wedding dress as she was walked down the aisle by by her father Peter. Her mother Diane seated with Elisa's siblings Derek and Beth. The Manhattan Clan and their allies were seated as guests; even David Xanatos and his wife Fox were there with their son Alex. It was begrudgingly that he was invited but while Xanatos was still being himself in other areas; he was acting as a genuine ally to them.
She walked towards Goliath in a tie and Hudson had combined the human wedding and gargoyles Commitment Ceremony sermons together. Elisa looked up to her massive spouse who was smiling down at her as they made their 'I dos' when asked. Hudson pronounced them both not only as husband and wife but as mates.
They had their kiss as Goliath kneeled down to her as they also played with their significant other's hair; a gargoyle equivalent to kissing.
Then the after party with them talking to the guests; Elisa had quite a conversation with Angela. Elisa and Goliath had gone over how to make it work with them together which included having a family of their own; would look into adopting a child (though she suspected that Xanatos would one day come to them and offer to create a hybrid child for them but they would deal with that if and when it comes) though a human one whose dad would only be seen in the night. Angela however never looked to the gargoyle way of seeing her elders of the entire clan as her parents; wanting a proper parental relationship with her biological parents Goliath and Demona.
Things were complicated when that started and even more so with how Demona is; they did have to deal with the fact that Demona never seemed to want to change.
But now Elisa was amused that she would now be a stepmother to who was a grown gargoyle woman and was technically born/hatched long ago with how time is in Avalon. Still it would be interesting between them.
Elisa and Goliath were now in the Castle Wyvern at the top of Xanatos' tower; "I have one more surprise for you Goliath... Had this fitted..." Elisa said as she was hoping that she didn't regret this; out in the castle balcony up in the clouds. Nonetheless she unzipped her dress and let it down to show that she had a gargoyle styled loincloth and crop top. "Hope you don't mind... Had to add a thong so the wind doesn't flash me when I am like this..." Elisa asked in a flirting tone as Goliath marvelled at her; she wasn't as muscular as a female gargoyle but for a human, she certainly showed her photos.
"Let me help you deal with the cold up here..." Goliath told her as he then picked up his new wife/mate bridal style and took her inside the castle.
