~ No matter how hard he tries, he’s destined forever to be a messy eater. Much to his father’s disappointment, he just never could truly understand table manners. For him, it’s always been more about enjoying the meal.
~ His favourite flower is a daffodil, and it absolutely means the world to him if you were to give him any. Although, he’d be ecstatic with any gift you gave him, even if it wasn’t something he was that fond of, because he knows it’s done without malice.
~ When Danny was still alive, he insisted on staying with him at all times. No matter where the dog went, Jonathan was sure to follow. Often he would even be found sleeping next to him!
~ After finding out about Dio taking Erina’s first kiss, Jonathan insisted on taking her out somewhere as an apology, and still gets extremely guilty about it.
~ He really wants to get into poetry, but really struggles to understand it. For him, it’s often difficult to understand the deeper meaning behind the lines, rather than just acknowledge the surface level observations. He’d definitely make an effort to try harder if someone he cared for had an interest in it, and he really wants to have one himself, but he’s just not capable of seeing the hidden intentions.
~ He can often come of as well-intentioned and optimistic, but occasionally he does get embarrassed or shy about his previous humiliations. This was a lot more frequent when growing up around Dio, and he often felt ashamed of his somewhat clumsy behaviour.
~ He is absolutely the definition of a gentle giant. I don’t think that’s even a headcannon. If you asked him to insult you, he’d actually have to fight against every fibre in his being just to do it. Being mean is anything but in his nature.
~ Treats Danny as an overprotective mother would treat their child. If you’re dating him, you’re also raising Danny. Don’t even dare to tell him you prefer cats.
~ He definitely loves to just sit or lay in a field for a few hours thinking of nothing. It would likely be a way for him to have time to himself, free from judgement from his father or humiliation from Dio.
~ I don’t think he sees himself as the ‘heroic’ type, but rather aspires to eventually become heroic and change the world for better. I think he sees himself as more kind-hearted than a force of justice.
