Work Text:
Jimmy rolls the rolling pin, flattening out the ball of cookie dough Scar had handed him. The avian is covered in way too much flour, a smile on his face.
Him, his sister Lizzie, and Scar, have been baking cookies together as a group.
Right now they are all making cut out cookies.
Scar sits in a chair that is high enough for him to reach the counter, giving him a break for his legs, rolling out the dough like Jimmy, placing cookie cutter Lizzie bright, into the dough, putting them onto a tray Lizzie puts into the oven when it’s full.
The trio are all enjoying themselves, smiles on their faces, covered in flour (Scar decided to put on the two siblings).
Jimmy puts one last cookie on the try, picking it up before walking around the counter, past Scar, to the oven where Lizzie is putting Scar’s tray in.
The canary hybrid feels something hit his butt, and he wheels around, “Scar!” he exclaims, “What was that for!?”
“Look at your butt.” Scar says, snickering.
Jimmy turns his body, trying his best to see behind himself.
He sees a white hand print on his butt from where Scar hit him with flour on his palm.
“Scar you cheeky bloke.” Jimmy rolls his eyes, putting the tray down on the counter in front of Lizzie, where she grabs it from, putting it in the oven, shutting it.
Jimmy goes back to his spot at the little kitchen island where they all are, picking his dough back up, rolling the extra into a ball, and putting it back down again to reflatten it for more cookies.
Scar playfully sticks his tongue out at his friend.
“Scar, can you go wash your hands.” Lizzie says.
Scar put his hand up in a salute, “Yes Ma’am.”
The elf hybrid gets out of his chair, slowly making his way to the small sink in the kitchen washing his hands before going back to his chair, sitting down and starting to cut more cookies out of the dough.
“No more shenanigans Mr.” Lizzie chastises Scar and the elf smiles.

Once the cookies are done baking, and cooled enough, Lizzie brings over the frosting she colored, and the sprinkles they all brought.
The three of them all decorate the cookies, setting them down on drying racks to let them set and dry.
After the cookies are done, the three of them clean up the kitchen.
When they are done cleaning, Scar goes to the living room, sitting down on the couch, using his crutch as he does.
Lizzie and Jimmy come out to join him.
“Scar, no Star Wars.” Jimmy says, sitting down on Scar’s left, taking a bite out of his cookie.
Scar sticks his tongue out at Jimmy, “You're no fun.”
Lizzie grins, looking at her brother, handing Scar a cookie she brought him, before sitting down on Scar’s right, kicking her legs up, resting them on Scar’s, leaning her back on the armrest of the couch, “We could always watch Toy Story.”
“LIZ!” Jimmy shouts, glaring at his sister, “Let the damn toy joke die already!” he says, “I finally got Joel to stop it, I don’t need you making him start it up again.”
“No promises.” Lizzie says, “Anyways, what are sisters for, if not to annoy their littler brothers.”
Jimmy glares at her one last time before plucking the remote from Scar’s hand, “I’m putting a rom-com going.”
“No.” Scar says, "Action movie.”
“Animated.” Lizzie says.
Scar turns to the pink haired canary, "Disney classic?"
Lizzie nods, smiling, “Disney classic."
“Guys!”
“You’re out voted.” Scar says, stitching the remote from Jimmy, handing it to Lizzie, “You pick, laddies first.”
“Aww, thank you Scar.” She says, smiling, “You are so sweet.”
“Anything for you Lizzie.” Scar says, smiling at his other friend.
The three of them relax, shearing a little more banter as they watch their movie.
(All before eating too many cookies)
