Two Worlds Colliding

Summary:

(OC fic, no shipping I’m aroace) Kanashī Uro, a descendant from another certain Uro, is a jujutsu sorcerer. Tensions between Jujutsu society and Hero society are high, with heroes often interrupting Sorcerer’s work. Since they don’t like what they can’t control. Giving an OC double the character development she would’ve had in only one world.
Sooo I’m rewriting this because I want to make the conflict between heroes and sorcerers clearer

Notes:

I do not promise any consistent uploading since I have my own problems. I don’t like shipping as much, but I might leave some hints up for interpretation. Though I just genuinely really like platonic relationships. Uhhhhh again this is an OC story, and it’s been a while since I watched MHA (I might rewatch it in order to get a grasp of the timeline.) First fic, I really like crossover fanfics so if you have any recommendations comment please.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Getting captured

Chapter Text

It all started with heroism. Heroism is fulfilling a noble purpose of worth. Though that sometimes could end up with that same proclaimed “hero” being forced into a school she didn’t want to go to. That “hero” in question is 15 year old Kanashī Uro. She’s a grade 1 sorcerer who is currently attending Jujutsu High. Her technique, Sky Manipulation (obviously ingrained in some of her blood), which allows her to treat space around her like a surface of any type. Her most often resort is fabric. In which she can reach out her hand and pull the space around her as if it’s fabric. That being said, the confusion her opponents have when first fighting her is what causes their downfall; thus placing her name by “grade 1 sorcerer”.

She was just walking on the city of Musutafu, Japan. She’d just finished a solo mission assigned to her by her teacher Satoru Gojo. That mission being to exorcise a grade two curse. It caused a bit of trouble, but she got by. Though she hates this city for a very particular reason: heroes. Heroes aren’t all that estranged in Japan or the world, but the amount of heroes just crawling in Musutafu is annoying to say the least. They always meddle when they see a sorcerer acting strange, that being the reason because they can’t see curses, nor cursed techniques. She and her classmates have had situations of the sorts before.

————————

“oww! Why’d you have to hit me on my head, Uro-chan?”
“Shut up, Itadori. You almost got us caught by the Pros again.”
Kanashī sighed as she pressed her index and her thumb between her nose. They’d been out on a mission to exorcise a grade 3 curse. Far below Kanashī’s level, but a learning experience for Itadori Yuji, who’d just joined the school a few weeks ago. Gojo had put her up for this task because according to him, “she knows how to teach people her age better than he does.” Which she would’ve taken as a compliment if she actually enjoyed helping others. She hates teaching those who don’t learn quickly like her. A pet peeve if you must. She just doesn’t get why people can’t learn as fast as her. she understands it, but doesn’t get the reason why. She knows it makes her seem like a selfish person, but who isn’t? They’re in an alleyway, just close to getting caught by the pro heroes. They’re such a pain in the a-
“Over there!”
The two students synchronized in ducking down behind the dumpster to avoid eyesight. Luckily that bird of a hero flew in another direction. Good.
“I can’t imagine that kind of questioning we’d go through if we got caught.”
“Why’s that, uro-Chan?”
“Don’t keep calling me Chan, and— it’s because we seem like a bunch of schizophrenic lunatics fighting the air to them. Normal people can’t see curses, remember?”
“Ohh that’s right! Ha, sorry i keep forgetting because I used to be one of them.”
Itadori rubs the back of his head in a “my bad” manner.
“In glad you don’t get mad whenever I ask a lot of questions. Normally people do, but you don’t.”
Kanashī raised an eyebrow at that. She doesn’t seem angry? She’s pretty sure she expressed it, she’s been working on expressing things. Maybes it’s just his stupidity or something. She sighed and signaled Itadori to follow her to the escape route.

———————————

Luckily this mission wasn’t one in a populated area of the city. Though she needs to stay here for the night, as Tokyo is too far away (and to maybe escape from a certain white haired eccentric teacher). Her path consisted mostly of street trees and pavement. With the road being on her left. She had to admit that this city had its sights, too and for the heroes. She had her earbuds in as to play her music. She really liked calm music after messy missions. Her favorite artist is Mitski, even though she existed 200 years ago. And due to the ambience of Mitski’s music, Kanashī was able to hear the commotion coming from nearby. Having been feeling a little less selfish today, she decided to check it out. It took less than a block to reach a the elementary school that the commotion was at;a villain.

She really didn’t pay villains any mind. It’s not her job.

Then again she isn’t exactly a heartless being. Especially when children are being held captive for something as materialistic as money. Money you could’ve gotten from robbing a bank, or getting a job. In order to get a material you should only harm materials in the process. What a lowlife scumbag. Who the hell targets children who can’t fight back nor defend themselves?
Sigh.
Enough with the internal monologue about morals. “Well…there aren’t too many people around. I guess I could help.”

She put on a mask and tied her hair back. She needed something to take off quickly just in case pros decide to chase her. She walked back a few steps. Then she began to run towards the building. One, two, three, four….with the fifth step she had used the space at that area to make it into a solid, transparent surface. With that she was able to easily use the air as stairs to lead up to the second floor of the school. The hostages were screaming from there. Slid through the open window, and landed (ungracefully) on the floor. The hostages had bullets, of course.
“Don’t move, bitch!”
The sickly looking man with a ski mask over face head hurled.
“Don’t move or I’ll shoot these little brats!”
Her aimed the gun towards the kid he had by a collar of his shirt.
She grinned.
“Guns are funny, aren’t they? As soon as a person has one in their hands they turn into an idiot.”
Before he managed to pull the trigger, she extended out her arm and with a fist forming, she pulled the space between the kid and man toward her. Essentially creating an indestructible fabric between them. With the man caught off guard, she rushed towards the two and kicked the intruder to where he won’t have any kids in the future. When fighting as someone as pathetic as him, it’s nuts or nothing. With the snap of her finger, her technique had come undone. With the kid behind her now, she turned towards them and asked, “you okay, kid? You know that was really scary.”

(Weezer, chainsaw man, and bsd references )

What she didn’t expect was the kid to hug her legs and cry his heart out. She couldn’t understand most of what he was saying, but it’s clear he was really really scared of the situation. She was a bit annoyed that her new pants were getting ruined by snot and tears, but she can’t get mad at the kid. She understands what they feel.
Sigh. She turned her head towards the man, who’d surprisingly gotten up. She wasn’t aware of that. The moment she turned her head was the moment he pulled the trigger.

A…feather…? Before she knew it, a bright, muted red feather had flown right be her ear towards the gun barrel. It’d stopped the bullet. Then another, and another, and another. Other feathers passed her from behind and pinned the man harshly towards the wall. By instinct she covered the kid’s eye, just in case it got bloody here.

“Oh? Now who do I have the pleasure of meeting right now? From the information I received, there was only one perpetrator.”
A red winged individual had entered the room. He looked to be about 170 cm tall, blonde hair, and yellow tinted rear glasses.
“So, who are you?” He said with a rather laidback tone.
Crap, It’s a pro hero.
Kanashī grimacing face was clear, even behind the mask. Without breaking eye contact with the bird-like pro hero, she gentle nudged the kid holding her legs to let go. The kid didn’t listen. “Ugh, why’d i choose to help?” The thought in her mind. The one time she decided to help, to be someone with “heroism”, it ended badly for her.
“You of the ‘em—sorcerers, right?”
The hero said whilst he nonchalantly pointed at her.

“No answer, mkay. Then Imma have to take you along with this guy.”
His finger shifted to points towards the man pinned to the wall by the pro’s feathers.

“This really is the worst day ever.” Kanashī spoke in her mind.

¡Chispistos de información !
Kanashī Uro:
Descendant of Takako Uro.
163cm
53kg
Likes: mathematical equations, alone time, quietness or Mitski’s music, and drawing.
Dislikes: teaching, people, literature especially, Heroes, Gojo.
Personality: quite nonchalant, yet hot tempered. She really doesn’t have enough energy for anything. Though she can be considerate at times. She has a very huge soft spot for cats, especially strays. Doesn’t mind her classmates, she just wished they’d talk less. Her favorite Mitski song is crack baby

Appearance: Has muted brown eyes–they don’t really glow in the sun. Her hair is a mix of pink and black. Uro Takako’s genes are very strong to last through generations. Her hair only reaches to her shoulders. It’s curly, so the lower but secured bun she always puts it in looks messy. Her uniform consists of a built in mask and hood in her top. The upper half is like nobara’s, and the lower half of the top is tightened by a bandage like tight large seam. Those same seams are at the end of her short cut sleeves too. She tends to wear loose pants instead of a skirt. Kinda like Geto’s, though less extreme. She wears the traditional shoes many students wear, and she also wears gray-blue gloves.
