Prompt and intermission
Hello everyone to my second fic, am I a writer? No. But I ama Saiki K and HP fanfiction fan (Fuck JKR) and there are no other crossover fics that I know of, so I am using my mediocre writing skills, which are practically non-existant, Saiki k and HP knowledge, lacking, to hopefully put this out.
Now I’m gonna be dead honest, will I end up writing this? Probably not, or maybe I will. I am putting this out for the public in case anyone does this, I will never say no to more Saiki K crossover fics, and also as a reminder to myself in case I ever get a writing itch, like right now, to write, so i don’t forget my basic ideas.
My idea here was that Saiki would get noticed by a professor visiting Japan for some sort of magical ingredient and spots him doing some type of psychic power and instead of thinking its psychic abilities thinks he’s a wizard, and, after checking with Dumbledore (since the spot of the professor will probably be filled with McGonagall) has them finding out Saiki was not schooled in any magical school (since Dumbles probably can check with other schools) so they go to offer him a spot there.
Saiki had probably been wearing his germanium ring during the sighting so he didn’t know, and now he can’t wipe their memories, after a bit of back and forth he agrees reluctantly, as it might teach him better control (even if his powers aren’t wizard magic) and he won’t be seen as a complete freak in that school for his abilities, and so is forced to attend 7 years (as he has no schooling and is ‘behind’). joining the firsties.
They have Hagrid pick him up, along with 1st year Harry to go buy his supplies because they didn’t believe he could do it himself.
A wand surprisingly does ‘work’ for him(its just Saiki faking it), sees thought Draco, and he gets a owl from the pet shop because Harry is his first ‘normal friend’ and he wants to keep in contact at least a little, which after a few attempts of letters fails, just uses to clairvoyance and finds things out (the dursley house has suspiciously bad luck after, toootaly not Saikis doing)
Saiki tp’s to Kings Cross since he gave them the excuse Kusuke would take him there, as if.
And then follow the shenanigans of Saiki pretending he had magic and not psychic powers (which were far more powerful) and trying to keep it secret
I’d see him sorted into hufflepuff, then the things go through roughly like this for the 4 years (aint Voldemort reviving with him around nuh uh, and totally not because I’ve only read the Og books to GoF, totally not).
-Saiki sees straight through Quirell, but no one’d believe him, so he takes care of it on his own, well, tries to.
-Befriends the trio somehow, probably on the train after Harry buys the whole cart
-Severus sees straight through Saiki instead, eventually finding out, and agreeing to help him out (I’m a severitus girlie, sue me) and help Harry out with his Dursley problem after Saiki tells him, but still underestimates Saiki’s powers.
-He’s meh at tranfiguration, since he doesn’t have powers to do that, but he can sometimes exchange something into what he’s supposed to create (which makes McGonagall suspicious, since sometime he doesn’t do it at all, and sometimes he does perfectly)
-Pretty good at Charms since he can fake most of it.
-Really good at potions since he’s good at baking and it requires no actual magic.
-Still makes sure he’s average on exams though
-Broom listens to him cause its scared during flying classes, but he does not care for the sport, just comes to watch Harry plan and because its the average thing to do.
-Still tp’s out of the castle regularly to do whatever, which makes him a suspect when it comes to the stone (and F&G see him disappear from the map)
-Hermione is the first of the trio to find out about his powers, duh, the twins the first outside of the trio and Snape and maybe Dumbledore(quartet)
-Cerberus and Norberta are afraid of Saiki because he’s top of the food chain, troll too maybe
-Quirell fucking dies again and Saiki see’s though Dumbledore (i like slightly dumbledore bashing)
-Severus takes in Harry and Saiki pops in sometimes.
That’s my rough draft for first year, very rough, but I really like this idea. Mostly because the power difference is so wild, especially if Saiki has a power that makes him immune to magic or capable of blocking ALL magic especially AK, then again he could just move so fast no one can hit him. Voldemort vs Saiki is coughing baby vs nuclear bomb and I find that very funny.
If I write it, it won’t be very angsty, I love crack.
If anyone wants to write this, feel free to! I will as well eventually.
When will updates come out? I’m gonna be honest, I have no clue. Sometimes days apart, multiple times a day or maybe 1-2 times a year to years apart, anything could happen.
I have bad commitment issues so its a struggle to stay on one thing.
Anyway, see you guys sometime when I decide to write this, can’t write a story without an intro.
PS: This story is NOT gonna be very good, I suck at writing and idk much HP lore, but I wanted to try. Oh, and saiki's around 13 in it, to make him hanging around 11yr olds not that odd ;-;
