The year is 1994 - 1995
" Ms. Sly?" McGonagall calls out calmly across the room capturing [name]'s attention from her seat "Yes Professor..?" [name] answers looking up from her desk "Would you be so kind as to demonstrate upfront on how to cast Avifors on this goblet?" McGonagall says looking at [name]. "Certainly Professor." [name] agrees bluntly as she stood up and walks up to Professor McGonagall as [name] walked up in front of the room McGonagall steps aside to give her space as [name] waves her wand and casts the spell although someone's eyes are burning into [name]'s skin.
"Oh merlin she's stunning" Fred whispered under his breath as his twin looks at him like his older brother is mad "yeah if you keep looking at her like that she might hex you mate" George hushed to his brother, Fred looked at George annoyed "for your bloody information she'd agreed to go to the yule ball with me" Fred retorts making George's eyes widen "bloody hell you must be joking right?" Fred sighs "do i look like I'm joking mate?" "yeah! Because why would [name] Sly go to the yule ball with you? Don't tell me you snuck into potions to make a love potion" George says still in disbelief.
"Oh for Merlin's sake George i didn't make any potions or spell! i just simply asked her" Fred answers frustrated "i don't believe you mate i mean i cant believe you! Well i just didn't expect [name] to be the type person to be going out on a date i even thought she wouldn't go to the yule ball she's so closed off and a loner too" George whispered "well mate of course my charm will never fail me-".
"Anything interesting you would like to share with us Mr. Weasley ?" McGonagall ask's quite loudly looking at the twins "No professor...." Fred answers politely "then may i ask for your attention then? And to stop babbling in my class." McGonagall said sternly "Yes professor I'm sorry.." Fred says apologetically as McGonagall nods and goes back to discussing their lesson.
At the Great hall
Fred looks around trying to find that one cold girl [name] and there he spots her at the edge of the Slytherin table alone reading a book completely in her own world Fred smiles everything that she does or even when she doesn't do anything he found it adorable [name] looks up sensing the smiling red head boy's presence "hey [name] anything new lately" he chatted as he sat beside her "no." she said bluntly as she looked away to continue reading her book "why so cold Hiver?" Fred says trying make the girl spit out more words.
"Shouldn't you be already used to the way i speak." she answers bluntly "I am used with the way you speak i just want to hear your voice more.." Fred says teasingly but softly although [name] remained silent Fred just smiled knowing she doesn't mind his teasing why? well because she didn't complain unlike before every word every teasing results an insult from her mouth but now? just quiet and comfortable silence others might find it nerving when the person they like is always quiet but for Fred its like a trophy for winning her trust.
But it wasn't always like this before it was only [name] ignoring Weasley, insults, teasing, and many stunts just make [name] Sly notice the poor boy even asking [name]'s ex boyfriend Cedric Diggory on how to maneuver the closed off girl and how to read her with no emotions he's doing everything he can to melt the girls icy heart and win her trust enough to let him show his love for her and to also let her know he will never give up on her no matter what happens.
