For Sunoo and Ni-ki, being young parents was a disaster at first. When the test came back positive, Sunoo’s reality shattered. He spent days drowned in tears, his heart heavy not with regret for the life growing inside him, and not it so much for himself; he felt more anguish for his boyfriend. Ni-ki had barely presented as an alpha and they had only been dating for a couple of months.
"You're... you're eighteen, Ni-ki." Sunoo had sobbed into his hands "You just presented and I... I ruined your life!"
But Ni-ki never understood those words. For him, it was the best news in the world! Sunoo was definitely the love of his life; it had been love at first sight since the moment he saw him. And yeah, maybe they were young, but if they had a baby, his omega would never be able to leave him and they would be happy forever! Besides, how cute would a little pup be that was a mix of both of them? Ni-ki wanted to vibrate with excitement as soon as he found out, but noticing his omega's distress, he took it upon himself to comfort him.
They did everything together: telling both sets of parents, buying everything necessary, choosing the name... little by little everything started making sense and finding order. Sunoo was able to enjoy his pregnancy while studying to get into university. It wasn't easy at all, but Ni-ki made sure to balance his last year of high school too. He would come home from his own classes, drop his bag, and spend hours pressed against Sunoo’s growing belly, filling it with little kisses and promises of being the strongest alpha for both of them and that he would take care fo everything.
They were both blessed with the help of their parents and friends who gifted them a house, and five years later, Sunoo was finishing his university studies while Ni-ki was in his third year.

"Dano, behave yourself. Your uncle Heeseung is coming to visit us," Sunoo said to his little alpha. Because yes, unlike his father, his son had presented very early, his subgender being that of an alpha.
"Heeseung.." Dano repeated, his tiny mind trying to remember who that was. His parents had many friends!
"Yes sweetheart, Heeseung," Sunoo repeated, dying from the cuteness of his little baby.
He gave him a kiss on the cheek and took him to the rug in front of the living room sofa, where he had already placed little toys to distract him.
Heeseung arrived a while later. Sunoo and Ni-ki had agreed they wouldn't force their son to greet anyone with a kiss if he didn't want to, they didn't want to get him used to that. So if their son wanted to greet them, he would, and if not, they would limit themselves to greeting him verbally, which is what Heeseung did.
"Hello to you too, champ."
But Dano was very focused on his block tower. Heeseung sat with Sunoo on the sofa and they began chatting about trivial things. Ni-ki was at university at that moment.
In a moment of casual affection, Heeseung threw an arm around Sunoo’s shoulders, pulling the Omega closer to see the screen. It was a natural action, born from years of knowing each other and being affectionate.
But Dano, who had been silently building his Lego tower on the rug, froze. His small nose twitched, picking up for the first time since Heeseung came the scent of another Alpha invading his mother’s personal space.
Without a word, the five-year-old scrambled onto the couch, wedging his small body directly between Sunoo and Heeseung’s side. He crawled onto Sunoo’s lap clumsily, his chubby limbs making it a bit more difficult to achieve, but when he did it, he turned around to face Heeseung and let out a low, vibrating hum from his chest, a toddler’s version of a warning growl.
"Omma is mine!" he exclaimed.
"Dano-ya, it’s just Uncle Heeseung," Sunoo whispered, his voice full of fond exasperation as he stroked his son's hair.
Heeseung raised his hands in mock surrender, chuckling, but Dano didn't budge. He grabbed Sunoo’s hand and began scent-marking his Omma by rubbing his cheek against his palm. It didn't really do much since he was a toddler and didn't know how to properly scent yet, but he had seen his father do this many times, so he was basically just copying him, pretending it actually did something.
"Yeah? Well, maybe I’m going to steal your mommy away."
Heeseung teased and then kept doing things on purpose just to see Dano "growl" and hiss, because he found it very cute, pretending to hug Sunoo and giving him cheek kisses. Sunoo kept getting embarrassed by both of them until his boyfriend arrived and he asked for help.

Ni-ki was stuck in a late-night architecture studio session, so Sunoo took Dano to the market to pick up ingredients for dinner. It was a very cute sight; they were wearing matching outfits while Dano sucked occasionally on his pacifier and held onto his mother's jeans.
Everything was going well, until at one point Sunoo was struggling to reach a heavy bag of rice on the top shelf, giving little jumps, until an Alpha approached with a kind smile.
"Here, let me get that for you," the man said, his voice a bit too smooth, his scent flaring with interest as he looked at the pretty Omega.
Sunoo thanked him politely and put the rice in the cart, but before the alpha could respond and ask for his number, he felt a sharp tug on his trouser leg. He looked down to see a five-year-old boy with a fierce scowl, clutching Sunoo’s coat with one hand and pointing at the man with the other. "My Appa is bigger than you," Dano declared, his voice echoing in the aisle. "And Omma doesn't like your smell. It’s yucky."
Dano couldn't even properly sense smells yet, but his father had given him strict rules to repeat that phrase if they went out without him and someone approached his mommy, and he was a very obedient boy!
Sunoo apologized, blushing with embarrassment, as his baby started making growling sounds again.

Ni-ki was proud of his baby. He had raised him to watch over anyone who approached Sunoo when he wasn't there. They were colleagues, partners, accomplices... or so he thought.
It was a lazy Sunday morning. Sunoo was in bed with a silk pajama shirt partially unbuttoned as he basked in the warmth of the bed. Ni-ki, never one to miss an opportunity for closeness and to be clingy with his omega on their free days, had his head settled heavily on Sunoo’s chest. He was breathing in the scent of Sunoo’s skin, his nose occasionally nuzzling against the curve of his Omega's chest, seeking comfort and grounding in the steady beat of Sunoo's heart. It was his favorite place in the world.
The peace lasted exactly until Dano appeared in the open bedroom door. He seemed to have gotten bored of his toys and came to see what his parents were doing.
Dano marched in and stopped at the edge of the bed, his eyes widening as he took in the sight of his father practically draped over his favorite spot.
"Appa! Get off!" Dano demanded and scrambled onto the mattress, using his knees to shuffle toward them. He reached out with a chubby hand, trying to push Ni-ki’s shoulder away. "That’s mine! My milk! Move!"
Ni-ki opened his eyes in surprise... betrayed by his own blood...
Oh no, kid. Ni-ki was here first.
He didn't move an inch. Instead, he let out a low, teasing hum, intentionally pressing his cheek closer to Sunoo’s chest and sliding an arm further around Sunoo’s waist to lock him in place. He opened one eye, looking at his son with a mischievous glint. "Your milk? Dano-ya, you’re five years old. You eat rice and chicken now. You’re a big, scary Alpha, remember?" Ni-ki’s voice was dipping with mock seriousness as he nudged his nose against Sunoo again. "This is for Alphas who behave well."
"No!" Dano’s face turned a bright, indignant red. He grabbed Ni-ki’s forearm, tugging with all his might, his tiny growl vibrating in the air.
"Mommy's milk is mine! I’m the baby! You’re too big! You're gonna hurt him!"
Sunoo let out a soft huff of air. His baby was so protective and cute that he wanted to squish him and eat him all up.
Regardless, his fingers tangled in Ni-ki’s hair as he tried to keep his composure and reason with both of them. "Dano-ya, Appa is just resting. There’s plenty of room for both of you," he said, but the two Alphas were already locked in a battle of wills.
Ni-ki shifted, propping himself up on one elbow so he was hovering over Sunoo, effectively blocking Dano’s access. He poked a finger into Dano’s stomach, making the boy squirm. "Think about it, Dano. If you’re still a baby who needs milk, then I guess I have to take back that cool bike we got you. Babies don't ride bikes."
Dano let out a frustrated huff, his lower lip trembling not with sadness but with indignation! Which was ironic because Dano hadn't taken from his mother's breast in a long time, but he probably saw Ni-ki there and thought it was unfair because he hadn't done it in years!! It had cost him a lot to leave his mommy's warm chest, only for his daddy to come along now wanting to be there!
He tried to dive under Ni-ki’s arm, but Ni-ki was too fast, gently pinning the boy down with one hand while keeping his other arm around Sunoo. "See? Too slow," Ni-ki provoked, a smirk playing on his lips. "An Alpha who wants the milk has to be faster than the lead Alpha. And right now, I'm the boss of this bed."
"You're mean! You're a mean Appa!" Dano yelled, kicking his legs out in the air as he struggled against Ni-ki’s grip. He looked up at Sunoo, his eyes pleading. "Omma! Tell him! Tell him it's mine! You're mine!"
Before Sunoo could intervene, Ni-ki leaned down and dramatically sniffed Sunoo’s chest zone, making a loud, exaggerated satisfied sound. "Mmm, so good. Best milk in the world. Too bad Dano doesn't get any."
That was the final straw. Dano lunged forward with a burst of energy Ni-ki wasn't expecting. Instead of trying to push, Dano grabbed Ni-ki’s biceps and, with a fierce look of determination, sunk his tiny teeth into the muscle.
Ni-ki let out a sharp "Ow!" and immediately pulled back, more out of surprise than actual pain. He stared at his arm, where a faint, wet circle of teeth marks was already visible. Dano didn't let go immediately; he held on for a second longer, looking up at Ni-ki with narrowed, triumphant eyes, his little growl muffled against Ni-ki's skin.
"You bit me!" Ni-ki exclaimed, rubbing his arm and looking at the boy in disbelief. "You actually bit the hand that feeds you!"
Dano sat back on his heels, crossing his arms over his chest with a huff of satisfaction. He crawled over the space Ni-ki had vacated and flopped his head directly onto Sunoo’s chest, clutching Sunoo’s shirt with both hands.
"Mine," he whispered firmly, casting one last warning glare at his father.
The sight of Ni-ki, completely offended and defeated by a thirty-pound toddler, was too much for Sunoo. He let out a loud, melodic peal of laughter that filled the room, his shoulders shaking so hard that Dano bounced along with his chest.
"It's not funny, Sunoo," Ni-ki grumbled, though a reluctant smile was starting to tug at the corners of his mouth as he watched Dano protectively scenting Sunoo’s collarbone.
"He's a menace. We’ve raised a monster."
Sunoo reached out, pulling Ni-ki back toward them until they were all tangled together. "I told you he was a little jealous thing," Sunoo said, gasping for air between giggles. "He’s an Alpha, Ni-ki. Did you really think he’d just let you win?"
Ni-ki sighed, settling back on the other side of Sunoo's chest, looking at his precious boy, finally accepting the shared territory.
"Fine. He wins this round. But only because I let him."
Dano just hummed contentedly, his eyes closing as he inhaled the familiar, comforting scent of his mother, and enjoying his father's caresses on his hair to make him sleep.
