What a scumbag. Not even one please.
Hiccup sighed as he tossed the letter aside. He laid on top of his companion who only grumbled in response.
"I really don't wanna go buddy....It's just that they're too clean for me. It's like every crease of their body is thoroughly washed by their poor servants. They can't even write their letters..."
Toothless shifts his weight causing hiccup to fall down and hit his head.
"Oww!! Hey tooth! Not cool! I was ranting to you right now..!"
Toothless didn't respond to that but hiccup swore he mocked him under his breath.

The next day when hiccup showed the letter to his father and presented his wishes to not go, he scolded him and almost for three hours if it wasn't for Astrid who came up with an excuse to get him outta there.
"i owe you my life for that Astrid...you have no idea how boring that was.."
"No..i don't but i also don't know why he yelled at you, and i'd like to know."
"Just some ball in another kingdom or something. Just some shnoozy stuck up people with other shnoozy stuck up people celebrating everything they can."
"Well i'm sure your father only wants whats best for you.. besides there might be someone you'll take a liking to.. wink wink"
"Rightt.. i think i'm done with this conversation. Besides you don't know if there will be even anyone my age.. there's a big chance there'll only be old guys... andd girls...im sure...."
"Hah.. it's fine. I already know, remember? And the info i got from a cutie we found with her dragon on another island.. i might ask her out later.."
"Well good luck with that i guess.."
"Yeah thanks bro...you know what.i'll go right now"
Astrid finishes before she speeds out the door of Hiccups cottage.
