NCT WISH are already on their second year as a group. After so many difficulties they can't believe they made to this point, time flies.
The members live together now, after pleading non-stop to the company to let them move together again. People say it's weird they want to do it, maybe it's because normally groups live together for more than two years and they separated not even a year on living in the same dorm, who knows, maybe they just love each other a lot.
Anyway, their group dynamic is cute, they always hug and tell each other they love each other, of course they fight too, but they try their best to not go one month mad at each other.
Everyone knows Sakuya and Ryo had known each other since they're little, everyone knows how much they love each other and how clingy they are sometimes. Even though Sakuya may act non-chalant (something Riku teases him with) on camera off camera he is the sweetest guy ever towards Ryo.
They have matching earphones cases, Sakuya puts a photo of Ryo on his phone case occasionally, they upload photos together on weverse, hold hands, make long eye contact, Ryo would always play with Sakuya's hair, and a long list of etcetera's. The members can hear them laughing at three in the morning, at first it was annoying and they would go to their shared room to knock the door and tell them to shut up, but they started to get used to it.
Sometimes, when the group was planning a dinner together, the two of the younger boys would say they wanted to stay in the house. The members said it was ok and that they could always hang out again in the future, I mean, they see each other 24/7 anyway. When the members arrived at the dorm at two in the morning, they would either find the house in absolute silence or find it hearing laughter from their shared room.
Everyone knew how cute they were, even fans — even though that is normal, of course fans would like them. The company though, they sense in them an opportunity to make money, of course, fan service. But Sakuya and Ryo never saw it as fan service, they were always like this.
Friendship, a really good friendship, that's what everyone thought, unit this night.
The members had gone to have a drink and eat something delicious together, they didn't bat an eye when the younger boys said they would prefer to stay in, it was a normal occurrence by now. They arrived pretty late tonight, deciding to head back when they started to get too dizzy, they had work tomorrow.
Sion was the one who opened the door, even from outside they could hear the faint sound of some action movie. As soon as he opened the door he froze, covering his mouth with his hand. Besides him, Riku let out a "Oh" and stopped his walk. Daeyoung and Yushi just watched from behind the two older members.
Sakuya and Ryo were kissing in the couch, Ryo was straddling Sakuya and his hands were all over his hair while Sakuya held him by the waist. They parted from the kiss when they heard Riku, and looked at the door with their mouths open.
Daeyoung closed the door and looked at the roof, as if it was the most interesting thing in the whole world.
Yushi just switched his look between the boys on the couch and Sion with Riku on his side.
The older guys just walked into them, watching how Ryo made his way to sit on Sakuya's side. Sion grabbed a chair and placed it right in front of them, being followed with the same action by Riku. Yushi and Daeyoung only watched the situation from the kitchen.
"What were you doing?" Sion asked.
Ryo and Sakuya shared a confused look, wasn't it obvious that they were literally kissing?
"Uhmm" Ryo wanted to talk, but he was too embarrassed to do so.
"Do you even know that this could affect your friendship?" Riku interrupted him before he could give a proper answer.
The boys frowned at that, and Sakuya decided to talk, "Friendship?" He genuinely asked in confusion.
Sion and Riku exchanged a look, now both of them frowning too. "Yes? Whatever you two are doing could affect how you view each other as friends, and then eventually the group" Sion stated.
"We're not friends" Sakuya answered.
Neither of all the six guys said anything after that, the only sound emitted after that was a "Oh" from Daeyoung, as if he realized the biggest thing of this life.
"What do you mean?" Riku asked quietly.
"We're boyfriends" The blonde boy talked again.
Yushi quietly laughed, and Riku gasped as he opened his eyes to the point they looked as if they were going to pop out his face.
"Since when?" Sion asked with a certain calmness.
"Umm, since like.. april of last year" Ryo finally answered.
Silence fell over the walls, four pairs of eyes went wide, and the room went extremely quiet. Not the kind of awkward quiet, just the type of quite where the air stills with realization. None of them were mad or anything, just genuinely surprised on how they didn't notice.
There were some times where they would act like a couple, but they never had a real suspect.
I mean, sometimes Sion especially would enter the room and find them flinching too much, but they were teenagers after all, they're full of mischief.
Riku one time found them sleeping together, Ryo was on top of Sakuya, hugging him as if he was a plushie, but that was normal.
Daeyoung would find them holding hands while Ryo had his head on Sakuya's shoulder and the blonde boy reciprocating the action, but it was cute.
Yushi found them giving kisses om each other cheeks, with their hairs still damp from the shower they took, it was just a cute scene.
They would always find them in situations that couples would do, but they are just too unobservant.
"Why are you all so shocked, i thought you already knew" Sakuya finally broke the silence.
"Mm" Ryo nodded and affirmed what his boyfriend said, "We never tried to hide it from you"
"Exactly, we just didn't kiss in front of you guys out of respect " Sakuya said.
Yushi just walked to his room, ruffling their hairs while passing by. Daeyoung followed him and said "Congrats" as he went to his room.
Riku and Sion stayed, "I can't believe i didn't notice" Riku said dramaticall, making Ryo smile.
"Listen, we're not against this, we are happy as long as you guys are too. We just want to tell you that you have to be careful with this, you know how much this can affect your career if this leaks," Sion said in his well known leader voice. The boys in front of his just kept nodding.
"We love you guys, just be careful, ok?" Sion finished talking, hugging the boys. Riku copied his action while he said "Aing, my cute boys"
After the older guys went to their room, Ryo looked at his boyfriend, both breaking in laughter. Sakuya hugged Ryo, making him fall on his back to the couch, "I love you" Sakuya told his boyfriend while he kissed him on his cheek, making him laugh softly. "Me too" Ryo said as he hugged him back.
