Aren woke up like he usually would do, however he felt it was time to begin his true mission. Although he was from a gang, after that he was hired by the Living Yaoi Association (LYA) to help form relationships that would correct bad behaviour. He was sent to PK Academy to ‘mingle’ with his targets. He became fairly close to some people, including Kaidou Shun and Saiki Kusuo, for he suspected that Saiki would know many people, of which he did.
Aren sent a message to the LYA confident that he knew enough information to take on his first mission. A reply quickly came. His first mission was….. Kusuke and Makoto?
He knew this would be tough, but he was close to Kusuo and so could get Kusuke and he knew Kokomi….. he could do this… with some help that is.
Aren slung his backpack over his shoulder as he walked to school. He saw Kusuo and couldn’t stop thinking about the mission. Kusuo glanced at Aren, a moment longer than usual- ‘is kusuo secretly in a gang and wanted to kill him’ no… Aren was being paranoid - my god. He turns around just to get blinded by Kokomi and gets trampled on by the guys surrounding her, her sweet voice sounding quiet as she greets everyone, ‘uphs’ can be heard around her. This was going to be a lot harder than he thought.
Aren then looks next to her, someone had face planted. He rushes over and realises it’s Kaidou, shocker.
He then realises, that he could definitely ask Kaidou to help him, Kaidou has to understand him, especially when he thinks he is ‘Jet Black Wings’.
‘T-that… THAT MUST OF BEEN THE WORK OF THE DARK REUNIUN-‘
‘hey kaidou, i need to talk to you…. privately’
‘o-oh hehe hey Aren…. h-how can i help?’ Kaidou stand up, using the hand Aren outstretched for support.
‘This is top secret, can’t tell nobody, alright?’
‘I JET BLACK WINGS SWEARS UPON-‘
‘Alright i take that as a yes, listen i’m from the Living Yaoi Association and it’s my job to help two people get together to correct bad behaviour. Kusuke and Makoto is my first mission, can you help’
‘……wait a minute….. yaoi what now?….. help you….? i mean….. sure im in….. i guess…? THERE IS NO MISSION TOO BIG FOR JET BLACK WIN-‘
‘Great! So any ideas?’ Kaidou thinks for a moment’
‘Hmmmmm…. what if….. i don’t know…we ask Akechi- he doesn’t shut up, i bet he has an idea…. but i will help- for sure!’
Aren sighs…. then stops sighing
‘That’s actually a pretty good ideas, do you know where he is?’
‘I heard he got the teachers in a talking trap next to the water fountain’
‘Let’s go then!’
‘b-but…. what about…. lessons…?’
‘we have another hour before lessons start, come on- let’s go’
Aren and Kaidou walk around the school until rapping- no- very fast talking can be heard.
‘-i know the grades are good but then if they weren’t- i mean you know the school only accepts the highest- that’s why i want to go- no dumb people- i hope kusuo goes there also- yeah so smart-‘
‘HEY AKECHI’ Aren says, relief on the face of the teacher that Akechi was talking to’.
‘Oh hey Aren- have you heard of that new game- have you done your homework for maths-‘
‘I need your help, and i know it may be hard, but i need you to listen’
‘Oh? Why? Super secret mission? Cheating?’
Aren fills in Akechi.
‘……You mean that perverted Kusuke, and Makoto…..?’
Aren was scared… he had never heard Akechi so quiet and how he also didn’t question the LYA, as if he had his priorities straight.
‘Yeah..?’
‘Ah…. that would help Kusuo so much- and Kokomi as well of course-‘
‘So… any suggestions’
‘Okay, why not tell Kusuo and Kokomi to go on a date, then tell Makoto and Kusuke that they are going on a date, they will follow them, then if i use my knowledge of people skills- Kusuke and Makoto will begin to fight with the their sibling’s date, and then they will both fight and then Kusuo and Kokomi can sneak out, and then…. i think their shared love about ‘protecting’ their siblings will bring them closer’
Aren and Kaidou both stood and listened…
‘Actually..? That could work really well…..’
‘But,’ Kaidou adds ‘that means we need to tell Kusuo and Kokomi’
‘Actually we only need to convince Kusuo because that stupid little- i mean Kokomi loves him-‘ says Akechi.
‘Okay… let’s look for Kusuo-‘
The bell rings
‘-at lunch time’
They all agree and go to registration
~time skip to lunchtime~
They all met up in the bathroom
‘Okay so where is Kusuo?’ Aren asks.
‘He was forced to the lunch hall by Nendou, he wanted me to come too, so I know they are outside’ Kaidou replies.
‘Let’s go then’
As a group of 3, they all walk outside and see Nendou and Saiki, Saiki looking like he was held hostage (of which he probably was).
‘Saiki…. we need to talk to you’
‘Oh no… buddy is in trouble’ says Nendou.
Aren sighs before also filling in Saiki, of which Saiki already knew about this, because of his Psychic powers.
*Kusuo internal thoughts: kusuke will probably leave me alone if this works, and I does feel some what pitiful for Kokomi (then I won’t feel bad and have to hang out with her…) internal sigh. Yada yada*
‘Fine’
*this is going to be so painful I already know it, but it will probably be worth it. I am, although i don’t show it, surprised about Aren being part of such an association, I, however, already knew this since the beginning due to my mind reading abilities*
‘Great, let’s tell Kokomi now’ says Kaidou, watching Aren carefully.
As a large group, consisting of Aren, Kaidou, Akechi, Kusuo, and Nendou (nobody knows why he is here, and i’m sure he doesn’t know either), they go to Kokomi.
Kusuo felt that angelic presence and can see her bright light- Kokomi. Kaidou is eager to fill her in.
Kokomi’s thoughts, of which Kusuo can hear:
oh my kusuo wants to go on a date with me to get rid of my hindering brother? is this so he can trial what it is like when we are married? so he can finally confess his feelings without my brother present? oh how sweet of him-
Saiki decides to ignore her internal monologue. He isn’t into her, she doesn’t talk nearly enough to do his share of talking, and, all her thoughts are…. rather egocentric. She is also too bright, too shiny- hurts his eyes, even with his glasses originally designed to protect people from him, rather than him from people, he is still blinded.
‘So’ Aren begins ‘go to the ramen shop together after school, we will tell your brothers about this date, okay?’
Everyone nods in agreement.
Aren takes a picture of Kusuo and Kokomi talking (Kusuo is most definately not talking), while Kokomi is laughing, and posts it on Instagram with the caption:

He knew both Makoto and Kusuke would see when their siblings were tagged in a post, and that this meet up would happen. Aren and Kaidou decided that they needed to watch from afar, to ensure that everything went smoothly (also to watch the drama unfold.)
