We chatted excitedly and made our way to Grade 8 orange. It was routine, we always went to book seats for anime early enough so we can have good spots. I placed my Zoro bottle down and accompanied my friends to ‘the spot’, which was just the grassy patch behind block C. We gossiped and sang songs while wondering about what anime we would watch that night. Eventually, it was 6:50, which meant it was time for entertainment.
As the room began to fill up with people, we watched trailers and decided to watch ‘Gachiakuta’. I sat and watched, even though I would have much rather watched anything but that. After about 30 minutes, I gave up on trying to watch it and decided to move to k-pop entertainment instead. Zella came along as well, though she doesn’t listen to Kpop, since we both didn’t enjoy the anime. I quite like k-pop so it was a fun experience singing to songs and watching people dance along to the music video.
Afterwards, we went to the dorms and Saturday passed.
On Saturday night, it was entertainment again, and after realizing anime was gonna be ‘Gachiakuta’ again, we decide to go for K-pop. Since I’d come yesterday, I began recognizing the people there. Some of my favorite songs were played and I danced in the corner to the choreography since I was too shy to do it in the middle with the others. I requested for ‘Maestro’ by ‘SEVENTEEN’ but there wasn’t enough time and people needed to practice for their performance during our upcoming closing assembly. The k-pop lead promised to play it first during the next entertainment. Zella and I watched them practice till 9pm then left to meet up with Razz and the rest who had stayed and watched anime.
