"Kaiser!"
"Ness."
"I'm so happy to see you! We haven't hung out in so long." Ness said while jumping into Kaiser's car, letting himself lean back on the soft cushions of the seats.
"I wonder why. Maybe if you hadn't gotten grounded, we could've been hanging out every day." Kaiser replied, waiting for Ness to buckle his seatbelt.
"Aha, yeah. My bad, Micha. My parents caught me sneaking out so we could go to that party. It sucked, we couldn't text for 2 whole weeks! Can you believe it?"
"Yeah, I can, because it already happened."
Ness rolled his eyes playfully before staring at Kaiser, waiting for him to drive, but more importantly, admiring his gorgeous features.
Kaiser stared back at Ness. He had only just realized how delicate Ness's face was and how his face had a touch of femininity to it. "Stop staring at me and buckle your seatbelt already. I don't have all day."
Ness felt his face get hot before averting his gaze immediately. "Oh, yeah. Haha, sorry." His crush on Michael Kaiser had grown so much that there was no way back now. He found himself getting lost in Kaiser's eyes all the time. Kaiser was definitely slowly catching on, so he had to be discreet about his little crush. But come on, it doesn't take rocket science to figure out that Ness has a crush on Kaiser. In fact, it was painfully obvious.
"U-um so, where are we going, Kaiser?" Ness asked, covering his face slightly with his scarf. If he took off his scarf, he'd probably look like an overheating tomato.
"You'll see, and put on some gloves for god's sake. Your hands will freeze." Kaiser said while also trying to focus on the road. Ness scrambled around for a bit, looking in his pockets to try to find some gloves.
Kaiser sighed before reaching into a small compartment in the car and throwing some mittens at Ness. "Here, they might be a bit small, though. I wore those when I was like 12."
Ness slowly put them on; surprisingly, they fit perfectly. He never realized how small his own hands were. He does know one thing for sure: they perfectly fit into Kaiser's hands when they did hold hands. Maybe they were made for each other... Ness then internally slapped himself. 'Get a hold of yourself, Ness! You can't be thinking those thoughts of your best friend!'
"Didn't think those would fit. I didn't know you had small hands." Kaiser said, his attention shifting from the road to Ness's delicate hands in his old gloves. Kaiser then reached over to grab Ness's hands. Mainly to feel how small they were, but he also might have just wanted to hold them...
Ness's face immediately flushed to a deep crimson red. He hadn't expected Kaiser to touch his hand. "I-I..."
"Your hands do feel small. I guess I haven't held them enough to notice how tiny they were." Kaiser said, his focus no longer on the road at all.
"I-I um... KAISER! FOCUS ON THE ROAD, WE'RE ABOUT TO CRASH!!" Ness screamed, changing the direction of the conversation to the road.
"Fuck, chill. I know what I'm doing, shitty Ness. You just stay back and keep my hands warmed." Kaiser said, steering the car wheel.
Ness blushed once again. He knew Kaiser didn't like him back, and he wanted to get rid of his feelings for him, but how was he supposed to do that when Kaiser goes around acting like this?! "O-Okay..."
They finally arrived at the place Kaiser wanted to bring Ness. Ness stepped out of the car to look around. 'Seriously? This is where Kaiser wanted to bring me? A bar?! He knows I don't drink!'
"Kaiser... A bar? I don't drink."
"I know that, dumbass. You're still drinking anyway." Kaiser yelled, taking Ness's hand and dragging him into the bar.
"Kaiser! What if we get caught? I'm still underage!" Ness yelled, rather quietly, so no one around them would hear what they were talking about.
"No shit, Sherlock. You won't get caught, it's fine. You're with me, and I'm a regular. They'll recognize me and won't question you." Kaiser replied while they slowly made their way to the entrance of the bar.
"Are you sure...?" Ness asked, entering the bar behind Kaiser. 'Damn, this bar is fucking packed. It smells like alcohol and cigarettes, which are to be expected.'
"The usual. Hurry up." Kaiser yelled at the bartender. They rolled their eyes before getting started on Kaiser's drink.
"Here." The bartender said, sliding over this fancy-looking drink to Kaiser. It looked pretty good, but certainly didn't smell good.
Kaiser grabbed the cup and downed half the fucking cup in one go. He then slid the other half over to Ness, looking at him expectantly. "Go on, drink some."
"This smells strong... You know better than anyone that I don't handle alcohol well."
"Did I fucking ask? Hurry up." Kaiser said, irritation audible in his voice. Ness, not wanting to disobey Kaiser, grabbed the drink and took a tiny sip.
Ness immediately started coughing; he definitely did NOT enjoy that. "Eww, that was so bad! It was bitter and sour." Ness semi-yelled, pushing the cup back towards Kaiser.
"Weak," Kaiser said, annoyed. He then downed the rest in one big gulp and ordered 3 more small shots.
"Fuck, Kaiser! Are you drunk?!" Ness yelled, trying to support Kaiser as he was barely able to stand.
"I'm fine, shitty Ness *hic* stop worrying," Kaiser replied, his voice slurring. He was clearly drunk.
"You are 100% drunk! How do I get back home?! I don't know how to drive! If I don't make it back before 7 am, then I'm toast!" Ness yelled frantically.
Kaiser slowly stood up, just to fall back down again. He finally got up by using the wall as a support. "Easy, I'll just *hic* drive you."
"No! You cannot drive right now. That's dangerous and illegal." Ness replied, helping Kaiser sit down so he could rest for a bit.
Kaiser then suddenly leaned in and captured Ness's lips in a kiss before Ness could process what he was doing.
Ness immediately pushed Kaiser back while blushing like crazy. "I-I Kaiser?!"
"Nessssssss, why ya pull awayyy?" Kaiser said, his voice completely slurry and drunk-like.
"Kaiser, just take a nap or something. I won't let you do anything under the influence of alcohol. I don't want you to wake up, regret it, then hate me..." Ness said, making sure to say the last part as quietly as possible. He hoped Kaiser hadn't heard it. To his luck, Kaiser had already fallen asleep with his head resting against the brick wall behind them.
"K-Kaiser... I love you. I want you to love me back and kiss me when you're in the right mindset..."
After a few hours, it was 5 am. Ness shook Kaiser to try to wake him up. "Ugh... What is it...?" Kaiser asked, groggily.
"Kaiser, you can't sleep the whole night outside behind a bar. I'm literally freezing... You were shivering in your sleep, so I put my jacket over you... C-Can we go home?" Ness said, his whole face red from the cold. He was definitely in bad condition. Kaiser immediately stood up and wrapped Ness's jacket back over him.
"Gosh... I didn't need your jacket, dumbass. Keep it. You'll freeze. Ugh, I'll drive you home." Kaiser said, already walking over to where his car was. Ness didn't follow, though. His whole body was too stiff from the cold. If he moved, it would cause a lot of pain.
Kaiser noticed nobody was following him, so he turned around to look back. Ness was just standing there, still shivering from the cold. He let out a sigh before walking back. "You're so dumb. Why the fuck would you think sitting in the cold in nothing but short sleeves is okay? You're being a real pain in the ass, you know?" Kaiser said before taking his jacket off, too and putting it over Ness.
Ness instantly blushed really hard. He looked down at the ground so Kaiser couldn't see the growing red on his face. "S-sorry..." Ness managed out while Kaiser grabbed his wrists to guide him towards his car. He made sure to walk slowly so Ness wouldn't feel any pain from his stiff legs.
"Wake up, Ness," Kaiser said while shaking Ness awake. He had fallen asleep in the passenger seat while Kaiser was driving him back home.
"Hmm..." Ness let out a whine before fully opening his eyes and getting out.
"Bye, dumbass."
"Bye, Micha..."
Ness climbed back through his window and flopped onto his bed. Even though he was tired and everything in his body was telling him to sleep and rest, he couldn't. The only thing he could think of was the sweet kiss he had shared with Kaiser. Ness just wished Kaiser actually meant the kiss. He wished it had happened when Kaiser was fully conscious and aware, not when he was drunk and under the influence of alcohol. Ness touched his lips where Kaiser had kissed him earlier. Now, he never wanted to wash his mouth again. He didn't want to wash the feeling of Kaiser's lips off his. He just wanted to kiss Kaiser one more time.
"It felt so good..." Ness said, talking to himself. He wished it could happen again. 'God, I hate myself. Kaiser will never love me back.'
The next day at school, Ness walked up to Kaiser, but it was clear that something was bothering Ness the entire day. Something was on his mind; it was obviously Kaiser.
Suddenly, a girl walked up to Kaiser. She was smiling from ear to ear, her face was red and flushed. "U-um, Michael... C-could I talk to you in private?"
Kaiser stared her up and down before glaring at her. "About what?"
"U-um, something important." The girl replied, looking more flushed by the minute."
"No."
"P-please! It's really important, and it'll only be for a minute!"
"Ugh, fine. You better not waste my time." Kaiser said before following her to a secluded area.
Ness rolled his eyes before pouting a bit. He didn't like it when girls came up to Kaiser to try to hit on him. It was obvious she liked Kaiser. 'Why did she have to come here...? Whatever... Wait a minute, why am I angry? Was I jealous?! No way! I could never be jealous! Okay, maybe I was.'
"You wanted to talk about?" Kaiser asked, glancing at the female in front of him.
"Um! I like you! Be my boyfriend, please, Michael!" She yelled, pushing a box of chocolates towards him.
"No," Kaiser replied coldly.
"What... Why not...?"
"Is that it? Then I'm heading out. What a waste of time." Kaiser said, turning around to leave, when she suddenly stopped him dead in his tracks.
"Wait! Why?! Is it because of Alexis?! That gay fag! Are you guys dating?"
Kaiser turned around slowly before staring her dead in the eyes. "Don't call him that, whore. And fuck no. I could never love Ness. I will NEVER love someone like him. He's a pathetic loser, and I only hang out with him because he's like a loyal dog. He's my servant, and he does everything I ask him to do with little to no complaints. He never says no to me. Now move, you're a waste of time." Kaiser yelled before shoving her aside and making his way back to Ness.
'Oh, that hurts.' Ness thought as he eavesdrops on Kaiser and that random girl's conversation. He already knew Kaiser would never love him back, but hearing that in real time hurt even more than he could've imagined. Kaiser called him a pathetic loser and a dog...
"Shitty Ness, I'm back," Kaiser said as he walked back to where Ness was.
"Oh, Kaiser, welcome back," Ness replied, smiling his cute, dumb V smile.
"Let's go get food. I'm hungry."
"Okay! What were you two talking about?" Ness asked as they started to make their way towards the front entrance of their school.
"Nothing. She was a waste of time." Kaiser replied coldly as they walked out of the school.
"Okay... Well, what did you want to eat?" Ness asked. Kaiser, however, noticed the sudden mood change in Ness's voice, but he didn't push.
"I don't know. Let's go look around. Also, I didn't bring any money, so you're paying." Kaiser said while scanning around the plaza for a good place to eat.
Normally, Ness would agree immediately to pay for both of them, since it's Kaiser, of course. But this time, he didn't respond; he seemed to have spaced out.
"Ness. Dumbass." Kaiser yelled, nudging Ness in the ribcage.
"Ouch! Oh, yes, Kaiser?" Ness replied, looking a little embarrassed.
"Stop zoning out, dumbass. What's wrong with you?" Kaised asked, Ness looked like he was about to say something, when the same girl from earlier came up to them.
"Ugh, not you again. I told you I'm not interested. Kaiser sneered, glaring at the girl.
The girl rolled her eyes and looked at Ness this time instead of Kaiser. "Alexis, let me talk to you. Privately."
Kaiser immediately jumped in front of Ness like a protective bodyguard. "Yeah, fuck no. You are not talking to him. Leave."
"Who are you to tell me what to do? Are you his BOYFRIEND or something?" She spat out, with a smug smile on her face.
'Fuck, I don't want her to think me and this pathetic loser are dating. But for some reason, my body doesn't want to move out of the way.'
"Hell no. I don't date pathetic dogs." Kaiser yelled, his tone coming out harsher than intended.
"Well then, stop blocking my way and let me talk to Alexis." She said, grabbing Alexis's arm and dragging him off to the side.
"Umm..." Ness said quietly as she dragged him away.
'Fuck! Why do I feel so angry when she touches him? I should be the only person allowed to make direct contact with Ness. Only me, she has no right to touch what's mine. Damn it, am I jealous? No, no way. I don't like this pig. I only hang out with him because I like the feeling of having control, and no one else in this world is as naive and weak as him. Right...'
