"Madoka please! don't go! don't leave me again!" Homura sobbed, her face puffy and red from violently crying. Madoka's gloves stained with her tears.
"I'm sorry Homura, I've got to save you! I can't have you saving me in every universe!~" Madoka playfully responded. Madoka gently took out her red ribbons in her hair, placing them in Homura's hands.
"I won't forget about you Homura" Madoka smiled sweetly. It was a lie. A lie so obvious, so why? Why did Homura cling to it like it was preached by God himself? Why did the universe shift as if it was a obvious fact? Homura nodded her head gently, hesitant. Homura knew she was lying, but Homura let a small smile form on her face.
"You can live on Homura! I'll sacrifice myself if it means you can continue on! Don't you see? If my love could save us both, we would be just fine. I'm sorry I was so naive. I can save you, I will pick you every single universe." Madoka smiled bitter sweetly, looking down at Homura, her warm hands resting on Homura's cheeks. Homura's tears made her hands wet, warm, a proof of life. Madoka partly knew she was lying to her. Homura couldn't live without her, she could only survive. Madoka couldn't fathom a world where her Homura wasn't in it.
"What if I don't want to live without you? What if all goes wrong and you waste your life on me?" Homura sobbed violently, her tears soaking into Madoka's gloves. Homura looked up hopefully at Madoka, waiting for a answer which wouldn't come. Like a fawn in head lights, she froze, realizing she couldn't change her mind. Madoka wanted to be dead.
And Madoka always got what she wanted.
Homura knew Madoka would forget, as soon as she reset the time, Madoka would stare at her with the same naive look. She would look at her like she always did, like she never met her at all. Homura knew this, yet still craved Madoka. Madoka was her savior, her universe; And she would go back as many times as needed, until her and Madoka could be together again. Kyubey is the devil himself, he is the problem. Until she can stop Madoka from ever making the contract with the incubator, she won't stop.
