Minaguchi sighed, he was gonna confess to Nagao, kinda. He knows he likes women. He knows he won’t like him back. But he’ll try. He’ll put a note in his locker, sign it off as him. And just hope for the best when they next meet.
He’d never told anyone about his crush except Ryuya. He always encouraged him to try and confess, but he never did. Until today. He is gonna put that note in his locker…
After Minaguchi put the note in Nagao’s locker he ran away. He kinda hoped that Nagao wouldnt read it and ignore it. He was so nervous to go to practice.
At practice Nagao was always zoning out, that made Minaguchi worry, did he ruin his day that much by his note!? Was he zoning out because of him!? Was this all his fault!? No, probably not, Hes probably just thinking about something else, probably some girl.
After practice Minaguchi just walks out, he was not in the mood to talk to anyone, especially Nagao, he was way too embarrassed to talk to him. He hoped everyone would just think he’s tired and didn’t wanna talk. When he was almost home he feels a hand on his shoulder, he yelps and looks around. It’s Nagao, “hey……” “About the letter,” Nagao started, Minaguchi’s heart sank. “It’s nothing, just ignore it, I know you don’t like me back so just-“ “Hold on, Mina, I’ve thought about it all day, I’m not, completely against the idea of dating you, I just, don’t know how it works..? Is it like dating a woman? I’ve,,, felt bi-curious for a while,,, I just,,” Nagao looks at Minaguch, “I’ll go out with you.” Minaguchi was speechless “what?” “I said I’ll go out with you.” Minaguchi was in disbelief, he wouldn’t in a million years have thought Nagao wanted to go out with him. “Earth to Mina? You in there?” Minaguchi snaps back “oh yeah so uh, are you free on Saturday,,?” He asks “Yeah I’m free then.” Nagao answers “Okay I’ll,, see you at 6,,?” “Okay, I’ll see ya then..”
Nagao walks away, and Minaguchi? He FREAKS out, he texts Ryuya that he actually scored a date with Nagao.
