Better off with or without?

Summary:

You never wondered where you came from, not when Mann discovered you staring empty-eyed at someone's gravestone, not when the villagers of Millhaven kept you away from the children and certainly not when a muddied azure-haired boy challenged you to a duel in the woods.

You were always observing, excelling through the Favonius training courses as the same pace as another future cadet fighting by your side, impressing even the Grand Master himself, Varka, quickly making a name for yourself and rose as a trusted partner-in-crime of the notorious vice-captain of the 5th Company.

But all it takes is an act of betrayal from one most trusted, thrown under the carriage as a co-conspirator for your life to come tumbling down and for you to finally ask the important questions:

why has this come to be?

Author's message 

Hiya! I'm nervous to say that I don't have much experience writing fanfics or using a03.So please bear with me as I try to learn html, brainstorm a somewhat(?) comprehensive plot and complete my ever-growing pile of schoolwork. Any constructive criticism about tag changes, Genshin lore inaccuracies or spelling mistakes are greatly appreciated!

However, there is a slight issue where I have already pre-written some chapters for the prologue where the mc/reader insert is described to have the following:

  • Crimson eyes
  • Silvery white hair
  • Two diagonal scars underneath the shoulder blades with a pulsating energy (*winks aggressively*)

I want to know if yall are okay with this cuz I'm like writing this at 2am and am tired and eepy and everything.I will change how the mc is written if alot of people don't like how I portrayed her.

Also, I have rather long school days (10.5hrs) and might not be able to upload more chapters every week. But I will still try and dedicate some time each week to progress the story and pre-write some chapters to help ease up the busier weeks.But I might still go radio silent for a week or two.

Lastly, I still have no idea how this story is going to progress and the ratings and tags will be edited to suit the type of content, as well as having beginning notes for warnings. So please be aware that ratings and tags will change anytime.
