Kovo: "So, do we all remember that moment when the sky crashed into the Evertree? We were all there and it was the day we became Great Beasts. Well, the sky was an egg whatever is in the egg is going to feed on the Evertree and potentially all life. So, can I borrow all your talismans to create a Staff of Cycles and destroy it before it can do anything of the sort?"
Tellun: "I always appreciate the sharpness and clarity of your mind. However, this sounds a bit far fetched. That was a very traumatic day. Perhaps, you should talk to Jhi. Something might've reactivated the trauma, in which case it should be worked through."
Jhi: "Good idea Tellun. We should all discuss our thoughts on what happened. As you said, it was a very traumatic day and I don't think we ever discussed it. But at a glance, Kovo doesn't have anything wrong with him, Though, maybe you should try to avoid the sun, Kovo, you look like you're baking."
Suka: "HA! Funny joke as always."
Cabaro: "No. You come asking for my talisman but do so without respect. I will not give it to you to indulge in your heat delusions."
Uraza: "If you need it that badly, go use your own. If you need all of them, actually come up with a believable story. I thought your kind were supposed to be smart."
Arax: "I stopped listening at sky crashed. It doesn't take a genius to realize that wasn't sky, but something from beyond the sky. If you can't figure that out, whatever else you said doesn't matter."
Ninani: "I believe in your abilities, but I think you should maybe think this through a little more. Do you have proof this egg is evil? Do you have proof it is an egg? All of this seems a bit fantastical."
Mulop: "Yes, yes, a fine question, an eternal question. Will this life be as you describe, or is it innocent while still in the egg? Is this salvation or ruin? Yes, I think that here..." (followed by a philosophical dialogue with himself)
Essix: "I wouldn't rely on a theory that hasn't been fully worked out yet. Come back with proof and an actual plan and maybe we'll hear you out. Until then, you are getting nothing from me."
Dinesh: "The birds have a point. If you could explain exactly why you need my talisman and what you were going to do with it, maybe. But for now, I don't see any pressing reason to give it to you. You do sound delusional after all. Were you drinking enough?"
Briggan: "You want us to entrust you with part of our souls? You don't have any proof that the sky shard survived or is an egg. Beyond that, you don't have a plan for success. I've seen no threat such as the one you describe. Mulop, have you?"
Mulop: "The future is everchanging, isn't it? Could we interfere and raise the egg right? Is it of evil nature as Kovo says or will it be nurtured into being evil? Why does it hunger and consume? These are good questions. Perhaps, we should find the answers before taking action. . ." Returns to his philosophical discussion with himself
Briggan: "I should've known better." Literally all the other Great Beasts nodding. "The answer is no, I'll not be giving you my talisman, Kovo. Leave future planning to those of us with foresight."
Halawir: "I'm going to say what we are all thinking. Jhi, can you perhaps fix the sun damage to Kovo's mind? Or maybe at least get him to keep his fever nightmares to himself? I mean, Kovo, do you even hear yourself? This is far from the logical, cunning, ape we normally deal with."
Rumfuss: "Kovo, maybe bring this topic back up after Jhi has confirmed you to be of sound mind and you have taken better care of yourself. Right now, this all sounds ridiculous, but if true, also dangerous. I'll withhold my talisman until you explain it like your normal cunning self."
Gerathon: "The egg would devour everything when it hatches?"
Kovo: Looks somewhat relieved. "Yes. It would destroy Erdas and all of us. It is already feeding on the Evertree. I think it also might have mind control abilities, but it is hard to see exactly." Shudders. "The visions get really dark quickly, but they have some way to deal with us and the other creatures of Erdas."
Gerathon: "It will devourer Erdas and have mind-control, potentially powerful enough to make us submit?"
Kovo: "Yes."
Gerathon: "Alright. We cannot let that egg hatch. Here you go, Kovo." Hands over Jade Serpent "The rest of you, hand over your talismans. We are not letting some upstart take my domains."
Suka: "Wait, you were being serious, Kovo?" Frowns. "That doesn't sound good. So long as you return it unharmed and only use it for this one thing, here." Hands over Crystal Polar Bear.
Halawir: Whispers. "We are going to knock all three of them out and leave them with Jhi to heal, right?"
Cabaro: "I will not dirty my paws to deal with their delusions."
Uraza: Smiles. "I was looking for a snake for supper anyways."
Briggan: "Sure. I need time to explore the ramifications of Kovo's plan."
Tellun: "Uraza, we are not eating Gerathon. If you and Briggan want to try and knock them out, I wish you luck. It'll be a three on two and neither of you are as big and lethal as Suka."
Jhi: "Suka, can we have a chat bear to bear, maybe tomorrow at lunch?"
Suka: "So long as it's not in a humid jungle again."
Jhi: Nods.
Briggan and Uraza sneak up on Kovo and Gerathon.
They pounce and chaos ensues.
