Work Text:
Everyone parted ways from the North faction's base, be that by going back inside or away from the building entirely, all that was left standing on the roof were Fit and Pac.
The weather was the same as close to always, just warm enough it wasn't unbearable, Pac at the tail end of giggles and brushing his bangs to the side and out of his face with a finger across from him, when Fit looked out of the corner of his eye to the horizon.
"Hey, come over here. Would you look at that sunset."
The veteran asked, more in a statement of awe than a question, and watched Pac's brown eyes widen as his frame turned.
The sky almost entirely shades of orange, cotton candy clouds were full and fluffy and framing the world perfectly.
"Wow. It's pretty epic, right? So pretty."
Sections of the orange sky merging into pink and the sun faded into a deeper red as it came closer to the day coming to a close.
When Fit turned a bit to the side, it seems he and the Brazilian had a similar thought, and neither were truly focused on the sunset now, but each other.
"It's so beautiful."
Fit finished the sentence with a smirk, Pac's smile reached the corners of his eyes, he fidgeted with the hem of his hoodie.
"Yeah, I don't know what's more beautiful, the sunset, or-"
And when Pac adjusted to stand on the tips of his toes to be closer to the same height as the American, well, Fit couldn't exactly say he was surprised to find himself leaning forward in reciprocation, giggling into each other's mouths, the edges of the sky shifting closer and closer to a dark blue.
