Work Text:

Another story that I love with all my heart. As someone who feels that I came to many things late, this story really sang to me. I took inspiration from the West Coast Trail itself as well a magazine I loved in my youth, Outside. It was one of the magazines I read cover to cover. This story made me want to get back out on a trail. It made me want to stop and peer at rock pools, lay on the ground and stare at the sky, and build a campfire so that I can sit and smell the wood smoke next to the sea.
Thank you for another story I know I will love to read again and again, snae! <3Title from the poem Lark & Merlin by Tom Picard. PLEASE go read it. It's a beautiful journey and the interview underneath is enlightening!
