Wilbur made his way into Quackity's bedroom, quietly closing the door behind him and walked towards Quackity who was seemingly lost in thought. Wilibur decided to wait a few seconds before announcing his entrance to the motionless man in front of him purely out of curiosity for if and when he would be noticed by him. After waiting what was most likely thirty seconds he tapped Quackity on the shoulder opposite side of him.
“Hm?”, Quackity turned to the right as to figure out what he was needed for, only to come to no conclusion. As he turned back to his original position he was spooked by Wilburs appearance, flinching a bit after seeing the man.
“Jesus christ oh my fuckin-.. Don’t- don’t do that”, He paused a bit, fully processing the other man's appearance. After a few seconds of vulnerability he regained his composure and now looked quite pissed at the creature, “What do you want Soot”. He said it more as a demand rather than a genuine question.
“Can’t a gal visit his boyfriend without a reason?” He said smiling at Quackity displaying his yellow tinted teeth. He had not brushed them in quite a while and quite frankly couldn’t remember the last time he did. After making a mental note to fix his dental problem he got closer to Quackity looking into his clouded eyes to try and convey that, at this moment, he had no underlying motives for wanting to be in the other mans company. He was simply bored and Quackity does a wonderful job of curing his boredom.
Despite this Quackity still believed Wil wanted something from him, Quackity had a habit of assuming the worst, specifically when it came to Wilbur. Quackity looked back at Wilbur, slightly frowning, just enough to show a disgust for the man.
“It’s not like you”, contradictorally it was very in character of him to simply be bored and come to Quackity for a cure. Wilbur sighed and walked towards the window, starting to play with the golden tassels on the red velvet curtains. Quackity had a very royal taste when it came to decor. Everything in his room followed a red and gold colour scheme made only of the most expensive materials. Wilbur, whilst not wanting his own house to look as such, admired the mans aesthetic, it soothed him a bit how well the colours worked with one another to make a living space resembling that of an art piece. It was beautiful. Such a shame he would never admit it to Quackity.
“Your curtains look absolutely grotesque”, he said as he fiddled with the tassel, beginning to practice his braiding skills on the gold strings.
Quackity however didn’t care for Wils remarks he instead was too busy staring out the window thinking about god knows what. This worried Wil a tad bit as usually the man would have some sort of reaction to Wils bullshit but this time he failed to respond.
“You good big Q?”, he questioned.
The man sighed, “I don’t know”
Wilbur had no idea what to do. He was never good at comforting people; he never understood how to go about it as providing rationale or making jokes was said to be rude and inconsiderate. He backed away from the man, he was debating whether or not to take his leave when quackity interrupted his brainstorming.
“If you were a regular person and you heard of this huge casino all the way out in the desert would you like go out of your way to go to it?” Quackity asked, he grazed over the ring necklace lightly, fidgeting it enough to partially soothe him.
Wilbur decided what to say. On one hand he could say that he didn’t believe this would work out for one reason or another but he doubted thats what Quackity needed now. He needed reassurance that it was going to work out. Quackity knew what Wilburs silence meant and before Wilbur could fully decide how to respond, he spoke.
“You think its going to go through the ground don’t you”, Quackity expected this answer, he doesn’t know why he asked Wilbur anyways.
“I think”, Wilbur began trying to formulate a response that would both convey his true thoughts and cheer up the man, “that you are a brave man for attempting to finish a project as big and complex as this and I believe that no matter the outcome of the casino, that you will be able to deal with it and that if it does go under that you will rise from the ashes like the glorious phoenix and try again. I believe that you are a determined man big Q and I admittedly do partially admire you for it”
Quackity felt calmed, he nodded and turned to Wilbur with a slight smile, “thanks wil”.
“Anytime Quackers”
“Quackers?”, he laughed a bit
Wilbur was just bullshitting he didn’t know what he was supposed to say in response. He put on a confident facade, “Revolutionary nickname I know, you don’t have to thank me”
“Alright dude”, he scoffed.
“You love me” he said, moving closer to the man.
“With hate” he responded pulling in Wilbur for a kiss.
And Obama was there and everyone clapped
