The dim flickering ceiling light buzzed. Loud, blasted music was just barely muffled by the headphones on Till’s head. He sat on the floor of his room, back to his bed, headphones plugged into the laptop just behind him atop it. He stared up at the fan as it slowly spun and spun.

 

He wasn’t sure how long he’d been doing this for. Long enough for this specific playlist to loop, but he doesn’t remember which one it is right now much less how long it is.

 

He heaved a sigh and closed his eyes. He just wanted to feel.
