Sapphire Star

Summary:

Instead, her Minecraft.. Didn't open. She frowned, clicking on the grass cube again.
Nothing.

She clicked again, this time she saw a tiny speck of a glitch. Maia shrugged it off at first, clicking again. This time it was clearer.

She noticed the small tremors under her feet, and those tiny shakes suddenly started to rock the entire floor.

Chapter 1: Another World.

Chapter Text

Maia yawned from where she sat up from her bed, rubbing her eyes awake from sleeping at 1 AM again. But it's the holidays so, wouldn't really matter much.

Getting on her feet, she went to her desk where her PC sat, waiting for her to finally hop onto Minecraft again.

She'd been playing Minecraft for quite a while, the combat tricked you into thinking it's simple when it really is not. That's the first mistake she made when she first started.

She clicked on the "On" button, and the PC fully awakened, that usual dragon wallpaper sitting on the screen.

Having been a House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones fan, she just couldn't resist such a sickass decor, especially when her old wallpaper was just a plain pink sheep. That- that was when she still liked pink(She doesn't anymore).
She clicked on the Minecraft application, that grass block still plain as ever. She expects the usual. Hop onto her own little survival world and continue trying to make an EXP farm.

"What the-?!" She exclaimed, standing from her chair, before looking back at her PC and noticing those glitching specks getting bigger and bigger and bigger-

Then it shaped itself into a literal wormhole. She stood frozen, not moving for minutes. And when she did try to move- she couldn't. She was frozen in place from fear and shock. Then the wormhole dragged her in.

Oh fuck no.

She wasn't dying to a mystery hole.

Maia made a move, grabbing her window frame, but the smooth texture made her easily lose grip. She couldn't hold on for long.
She can't hold on for long.

And what's worse is that the hole was persistant, instead of going away, it just kept getting stronger until eventually she just couldn't hold on and her fingers slipped from the plastic frame.
"No-!" She yelled, before darkness consumed her.

Her head was pounding when she woke up.
Still in her white Pikachu shirt and her black shorts. She groaned, sitting up only for her hand to feel- grass?

No- no that wasn't right. She was just in her room-

She looked up, only to see a name tag above:
'SilentNight'

That.. That was her Minecraft avater name.. Wait- she felt her hair, now black medium long and the tips found her collarbone.

Then she reached for her cheek, and finds the scar she had given to her skin because she figured it would look sick. That thin line across her left side of the jaw- she felt it- it was there.
Her breathing quickened, because there has to be something wrong right? She- she can't be in Minecraft.

Right?

She soothed herself and forced her fast breaths to go at a steady pace again. Shakily, she got up. The first thing you need to do in Minecraft was to mine trees right?

Since she was in a forest, finding one wasn't difficult at all.

Thing is, how's she gonna break the tree without hurting her fists?

Now she knows she's a martial artist but usually she does Taekwondo, not.. Anything involved in using hands.

Well, one way to find out.

She curled in her fists, and slammed it into the oak tree's trunk. What surprised her was it.. Didn't hurt?

She punched the trunk again, this time, cracks were showing. Her eyes widened slightly, before she continued to repeatedly beat the shit out of the poor tree. Eventually, when it finally gave way, it shrank into a small cube-like block.
"Holy shit," She murmured, "it actually is Minecraft."

Maia reached her fingers out towards the small cube, and as if she was a magnet, it slipped through her hand.

Maia froze in place, because where and how the heck was she supposed to access her inventory?
She shrugged, and decided to keep going by mining the whole tree with her fists and eventually getting at least 8 blocks if she counted it correctly.

Now, to find where her inventory was.
Maybe if she just..

Suddenly, as she thought in her mind about her inventory, a serious of squares appeared in front of her. And she found herself staring at her own face. She looked down towards the hotbars, and found all 8 blocks of wood she had collected earlier.

Switching to it, she goes to craft planks, and then a crafting table. After getting that familiar wooden cube, she exits her inventory and set it down on the ground. Magically, the cube expands to it's true size. No longer the size of her palm but now as large as her torso.
"Let's see.." She murmured, "A wooden set should be enough."

After she crafted her full set of starter tools, she swung her wooden sword around and smirked.
"Oh yeah," she rested the blade on her palm, knowing that it wasn't sharp enough to cut through skin, "I could get used to this."

Alright, now she needed stone. Glancing around, she found.. Not a single entrance of a cave. She sighed, alright, time to do this the hard way.

She forced her legs to move, not forgetting to bring her crafting table with her. Looking up at the sky, she finds it's still midday. Good, she won't have to worry about it getting too late.
But considering how fast night and day come and goes in Minecraft, it won't be long before she'll need to find shelter.

Because no way in hell is she going to let a single baby zombie get near her. Those freaking demon child's always give her the creeps.

Her feet crushed the grass below as she traversed throughout the underbrush.

She was still in that awkward white Pikachu shirt with those black shorts. Even then, these kinds of clothes were absolutely not made for the outside world. And boy she wished she wore pants or any longer shorts.

Being exposed to the environment was.. Not something you'd want to get yourself into.

Then, her stomach growled. Right, she hasn't eaten yet. She glances around, hoping to find any mobs. But all she could see were trees.

Her eyebrows narrowed. Strange, usually there would be a cow or a sheep 'round here.
But not a single mob in sight.

Ok, there has to be something wrong.
She hopped through bushes and over roots, finding nothing but more trees.

' Is this world glitched? ' was her first thought.
Soon enough, she reached a clearing. Usually, a bunch of mobs spawn here, but she saw.. None?
"What-" She said, "where are all the..?"

Climbing over a steep hill, she stood on the top, and her eyes widened at the sight. Not a single mob in sigh, not even a sheep or a cow.
Nothing.

"How is that possible?" She thought, before glancing around. Eventually, her sharp eyes caught the sight of some sort of tower?

Wait, she's in an SMP?

No, that can't be right.

She never joins SMP's, especially after what had happened before.

She doesn't want to think about that.
Right, maybe she could find people there who could help her.

Just as she was about to take one step forward-

"Hey! Drop all your items!"
