2:14am
It was one of those sleepless nights where no matter how much 007n7 tried to doze off, he remained wide awake.
His body demanded sleep, but his mind wouldn't allow it.
Scrolling on his phone, despite knowing he needed to wake up at 7am tommorow, he started to deeply regret the amount of caffeine he had had the afternoon earlier that day.
“Noli was right” he thought to himself.
Noli had warned him about drinking 6 Monsters and 5 cups of coffee. Did he listen, though? No, of course not. Otherwise he would be peacefully sleeping right now.
3:23am
007n7 had put his phone down for some time now. His back flat against the mattress, eyes locked on the ceiling like it might give him answers... or maybe a solution to his restlessness.
He glanced next to him. On the other side of the room was Noli, sleeping undisturbed in his own bed. His face was half buried under a blanket, back turned away from the wall.
007n7 looked back up, let out a sigh and pushed himself up from his bed.
He walked over to his roommates bed, staring for a moment longer before laying down on the very edge, making sure he didnt come in contact with the other man.
He laid on his side, staring, hands tucked under his head. Didn't mutter a word. He didn't dare disturb him.
That's when Noli turned around, now facing the brunette.
His eyes half opened, still hazy from sleep.
He looked confused for a second. Voice low, he asked.
“..mm, what's up, dude?”
It was obvious 007n7 hadn't closed his eyes for a minute all night.
“I can't. sleep.”
Noli chuckled.
“pfftt... what are you, five? Comin' to mommy's bed 'cause you cant sleeeppppp?
Plus, I told you not to drink that much caffeine. You shall now face the consequences of your actions.”
007n7 looked at him, unimpressed. His brows furrowed.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever. You were right. Happy now?”
If he had to be honest, he wasn't expecting his roommate to admit his error. At this point, he could say he felt a bit bad about his unease.
“Really that bad for you to be admitting you're wrong, huh?”
He moved closer to the wall behind him, making room for the other.
“Fine, I'll stop mocking you. You're about to fall off, c'mhere.”
He said in a genuine tone, raising his arm and throwing some of the blanket over the brunette.
Without hesitating, 007n7 only moved closer, snuggling to Noli's chest, being able to hear his heartbeat slowing down as time passed.
Noli didnt move away, as a matter of fact he lowered his head to rest on top of 007n7's. As well as curling an arm around his waist.
They didnt say anything else. Surprisingly, 007n7 was actually able to sleep now that he was close his friend.
Who would've thought...
