In the middle of the main living area of the former elders chamber the overlord we’re planning something… a movie night.
Giles was fixing up the screen while Mike was getting the collection of movies out of the cupboard. Both men were dressed in simple and comfortable versions of their regular clothes.
Dissectus then walked in with a servant who placed the snacks on the table but as he turned to walk out he tripped over Dissectus’ leg and scurried away from the sound of some of the lord’s laughter. Dissectus was in a black robe with simple black clothes underneath to match his fellow brothers in arms.
Voltari then entered with his hair slicked back into a ponytail and wearing a simplistic version of his eyepatch. “So what’s the plan tonight”
Dissectus then spoke “well I chose the movie last time which we can all agree was a great success”. The lords then all nodded in agreement. “That horror movie was spectacular a real thrill” Giles exclaimed as he walked to the others who were all sitting on the sofa.
“So who would like to suggest the next one” Dissectus asked.
“Since the last one was a slasher film I suggest something paranormal like this one” said Voltari as he gave Dissectus the tape. “It’s good but we’ve already seen all the Paranormal Movies anything else?”.
Giles then looked at the movie collection and saw one he liked “What about one with a creature that destroys everything in its path like this one about a giant dragon who destroys a city”.
Dissectus looked at the tape “again we’ve seen all these films before we even saw the one where the dragon fights the giant butterfly”
Giles then spoke “what about one with creepy evil entities like that one where you can enter your enemies mind while they sleep”.
“HE CAN GET YOU IN YOUR SLEEP!!” A voice shouted. It came from behind the giant sofa where they were all sitting.
“Negatus how did you get past Lord Kut.. it doesn’t matter you know your not allowed to watch these films remember what happened last time we couldn’t watch any scary movies for a week because of your nightmares”.
Negatus then sulked “but it’s not fair you guys didn’t tell me what movie it was it’s not my fault the clown was scary”.
He then got up from his hiding spot. He too was not in his regular clothes but his comfy wear didn’t match the others at all as he was in bright white pjs with red and blue patterns on them.
“anyway I heard you needed a movie suggestion and since I haven’t picked any of the movies can I..”
The others then cut him off “NO!!!”
“Please you never let me pick” he sulked. “Let me pick or I’m telling his eminence!!”.
Remembering what happened the last time he tattled, they went on a day out pillaging villages and left him out. The lords then all signed.
“Ok fine” Dissectus said “what do you suggest and it better not be that movie with the fish”
“Or that movie with the giant lizards in the park” said Voltari
Giles then carried on “Or even that awful with that farm boy and his wierd friends what even was that movie called Star… what now”.
“I promise it’s good please” he begged.
“What is it” Dissectus asked
“It’s a movie where this team goes to a spooky island to find out what’s happened to these missing people where strange things are happening to the island”.
The other lords then all nodded in agreement “ok I think we have our movie” Dissectus then patted Negatus on the back “well done Negatus but I do have one question.. who is in this team?”
“Well there’s two guys.. two women and a talking dog”
“A Talking What!!!” Dissectus shouted “No not scary enough you are out”.
Negatus then begged but then Dissectus summoned Lord Kutz who threw Negatus over his shoulder and carried him out of the room while Negatus kicked and demanded to be put down.
“Make sure that one gets to his room please Lord Kutz think he needs a time out for giving stupid suggestions”
“It’s not fair you guys never let me get involved when I get put down I’m so telling this isnt over!!”
He then shut the door and went back to the sofa “ok now what”.
Voltari then spoke “well there is one more suggestion but it is a slasher film only this time the slasher comes out on a specific holiday to murder his victims”.
Dissectus sighed “ok we’ll watch it put it in before our drinks go flat”.
