“Why do I have to be on a team with him?! Iruka Sensie!” He heard Naruto complain. If anything he should be complaining about the dobe he thought while clenching his hands. His face felt unusually warm. But then the realization struck him! Naruto was embarrassed for letting his desires take over!
Now that Sasuke thought about it. It was obvious that Naruto liked him! He was always watching him, competing with him, and trying to get his attention! Sasuke couldn’t believe how he hadn’t realized sooner! No wonder Naruto was always trying to compete with him it was his way of trying to get his attention. Also just earlier Naruto had climbed on his desk and kissed him. Wait he had reacted badly. He’d coughed and choked. No wonder Naruto’s embarrassed. He looked down at his desk and curled up his hands.
“Meet back in the classroom after lunch, your senseis will come then.” Iruka sensei said.
Sasuke stood up and walked to the area he’d eat at and unwrapped his onigiri. Before taking a bite. He tasted the rice and sea weed and the special filling he had made with tomatoes. While he ate he found that instead of his normal thoughts revolving around avenging his clan, he was thinking about the dobe. How Sasuke hadn’t realized tell Naruto kissed him how much Naruto liked him.
When suddenly something hit his back hard, the unexpected force caused him to hit the floor hard. The window thumped down hard whoever attacked him had let it slam. He managed to get up. Only to see Naruto.
He released a breath of air. “You can eat with me dobe.” Naruto’s mouth dropped open clearly not expecting that response. Sasuke simply turned back to his onigiri. While Naruto just stared at him as though he’d been told that ramen was vegetables in disguise. Naruto opened and closed his mouth as though he was at a loss for words. Sasuke simply turned all his attention back to his wonderful tomato full onigiri!
“Who’d want to eat with you teme?!” Naruto exclaimed his fist expanded into the air. Instead of responding with words he opted to simply Hn. Before returning his gaze to his tomato onigiri.
Naruto truly was stupid though. He’d already agreed to eating together. Maybe he was still upset over Sasuke’s reaction earlier. Sasuke glanced at Naruto only to see him double over and run away down the hall to the bathroom. Sasuke blinked once then twice. Before he realized that he’d somehow caused Naruto to run away. He’d run away to hide in the bathroom from Sasuke. Instead of doing anything though he simply turned his attention back to his tomato onigiri. While trying to push away the bright yellow boy out of his head.
