I had a few weeks till I had to film my next film, a queer film about two boys who meet at a conversion camp, and I had already been learning the script a lot, so I was doomscrolling twitter, seeing what people were talking about. I always recognised usernames, faginof, tiffany_bl3ws, lilbugboy_, Dipple_N_pipple, flowrsdnp, gu1lt_tripping, and Ellis248121, They were all popular fan accounts of me, but I noticed sometimes they'd have profile pictures of Phil lester, a famous musician. I had listened to his music before, it was good, I related to his song boyband, about being famous, and as someone who's been in the public eye my whole life, I related to this a lot.
As I scrolled on twitter, I saw the fan accounts tweeting about my new film, as the trailer had dropped today.
The film was called fire and was about a gay club being attacked, then the survivors being haunted by a fire. My character died at the start, 15 minutes into the film, and I only had a few flashback scenes in the whole movie.
I looked through the tweets everyone was saying about my few seconds in the trailer, one being off my attack

The edits are about to destroy me, I already opened the app to one and he has no screen time in this trailer besides the few clips AND THE TRAILER CAME OUT AN HOUR AGO
I decided to watch the trailer again. I found it on twitter and watched it on my phone. They used pushing it down and praying by lizzy mcalpine for the trailer, and I knew in the actual movie they use Starting line and I'm still your boy by Phil lester. I knew of Phil from online, seeing people say we'd be a good duo and people freaking out when I tweeted once about the song Boyband. I watched the trailer and saw my few scenes. One was at the start of the movie as my character and the 4 others in the group were walking into the club, then my next clip was me hiding behind a table, all bloody, then there was a 5 second clip of me crying into the bathroom mirror, blood dripping off my face, then my final clip and the final clip in the trailer was me being stabbed in the club. The trailer didn't show a lot, and it didn't show any of my flashback scenes. The trailer mainly stuck to the club, which was only the first 25 minutes of the movie, it only had a few small clips of the other characters being in a fire. I opened tiktok and searched up the film, with my name added onto the end and saw plenty of edits already, and a lot using songs by Phil lester. I knew we had a big fandom crossover, I saw the edits and the tweets. I knew how shocked everyone was with the film, and how Phil was working on it. I decided to tweet about the trailer dropping so I opened twitter

Today the trailer for fire dropped, im so proud of this film and im so excited for you guys to meet Charlie, the 19 year old just out of the closest gay kid who is finally living his true life. I've already seen the edits and tweets so im so excited for everyone to see the full movie. Everyone go watch the trailer, you won't be dissapointed !! <3

The trailer for fire has officially dropped !! My songs starting line and im still your boy feature in this film and I worked with the crew to make a couple songs for this film which will all be released on release day of the film, 26th of June. Getting to work with amazing talented actors i've watched since I was a child, like Dan Howell was an amazing experience. Announcements about music also coming soon <333
I saw everyone freaking out about Phil's tweet, it was a mix of people freaking out over new music and him mentioning me. Everyone wanted us as a duo, and I wondered how or when it would even happen
