Main Cast Introduction

Namping (23, University Student & Model)

"Hello, I’m currently attending university while working as a shopping mall model, mostly focusing on unisex brands. Sometimes I get invited to fashion shows like the ones at Central, so I attend shows often and try to learn a lot."

Win Metawin (28, Interpreter)

"Yes, I’m Win , and I’m turning twenty-eight this year. I mainly handle English interpretation overseas. I also occasionally work as a docent for European art galleries or exhibitions. Maybe that’s why English often feels more comfortable for me."

Janistar (27, Flight Attendant)

"Hello, I’m Janistar. I’m currently working as a flight attendant for a foreign airline. I help ensure that passengers have a safe flight and play my role as a Thai crew member assisting those who aren't familiar with foreign languages."

Thomas (24, University Student)

"Hello, my name is Thomas. I’m currently a student majoring in Physical Education. I’m studying education while doing my practical training."

Namping

Q: How have you felt since moving in?

"To be honest, I still don't know what’s going on. I keep thinking, 'Is this right?' But luckily, even though I was worried at first that I wouldn't fit in, everyone has been taking such good care of me. So, I’m glad about that."

Q: Who took the best care of you?

"Um... Win? At first, Win was the one who approached me first to ask what my MBTI was, and he even lent me his jacket for a bit, so I wore that. Yes, the one I’m wearing now is his. I have to return it after this interview."

~Panel Talk~

• "Look at this! Win is clearly interested in Namping right now."

• "Since he expressed his interest right away, I don't think he’s the X."

• "Hey, you never know. Win and Namping could actually be each other's X."

• "But seriously, we shouldn't jump to conclusions. I'm tired of being fooled every time."

The Next Day: X Introduction Time. The introduction letters from the other cast members are passed around, and finally, Namping reads his X's letter.

"My X likes people with beautiful smiles. He likes someone who makes him laugh a lot and someone he can spend time with without realizing how fast it's going. He likes songs by PREP and Tattoo Colour. On the outside, he might seem a bit prickly and quiet, but in reality, he is more sentimental than anyone and cries easily. Thinking back to how he would tear up whenever we argued makes me regret my past self sometimes. Just as my X likes people with beautiful smiles, he also has a smile that is more beautiful and angelic than anyone else's. I hope there are many days ahead where he smiles often."

 

As Namping reads steadily, his voice begins to blur, and a tear falls from his glistening eyes. Seeing this, Thomas, who is sitting next to him, pulls out a tissue as if it’s no big deal and hands it over. Namping wipes his tears with the tissue.

Namping: "I wondered why everyone was crying... but now I see why."

Janistar: "It really does make you tear up."

Namping: "Exactly. I didn't mean to cry."

Namping seems to skim the X letter again with his eyes before nodding slowly.

That night, while everyone else is asleep, Namping’s blanket keeps rustling. Eventually, he sneaks out of bed without waking his roommate and takes the X letter out from his dresser drawer again. Relying on the light from the bathroom, he reads the letter for a long time. The camera catches him sobbing and wiping his tears again. Namping leans against the wall, crying quietly for over an hour.

Two more days pass, and the seven cast members have been living together. Today is the day of the date with the person they selected the previous day. Namping’s date is Win. While Namping is standing in front of his closet picking out clothes for a long time, Win knocks on the door and calls his name.

Win: "Namping, are you ready?"

Namping: "Ah, I just need to put my clothes on. Are you ready already?"

Win: "I'm all set. Should I go turn on the car heater?"

Namping: "Uh... I’d really appreciate that."

Win: "I’ll be in the car. Take your time getting ready."

Q: Win said he would wait in the car.

"Yes, he either got ready early or just said he'd wait first."

Q: How did you feel?

"How did I feel? ...Um, honestly, when he said he’d wait in the car, it reminded me of my X. I tend to take a while choosing clothes and getting ready, and my X would always warm up the car or buy a drink and wait in the car until I came out. So... I just thought of my X. Yeah."

Win and Namping’s Date

Win: "I can call you Namping, right?"

Namping: "Oh, of course. What should I call you?"

Win: "You can just call me 'Phi' . Whatever makes you comfortable."

Namping: "Ah... then is it okay if I call you Phi?"

Win: "Yeah, call me Phi."

Namping: "Phi, do you usually like active dates, or..."

Win: "I think it depends on the day. But today, I’m not planning on doing anything active."

Namping: "Oh, really?"

Win: "There’s a perfect walking course near central. We’re going there, but we might have to walk a bit. Do you like walking?"

Namping: "Oh, I love it. I really like going for walks and stuff."

Win: "I guess you went for a lot of walks when you dated your X."

At Win’s words, spoken while turning the steering wheel, the corners of Namping’s mouth stiffen for a moment before turning up.

Namping: "Is that so? I’m not sure."

Win: "But you know, I talked to your X in the chat room."

Namping: "Yes."

Win: "They didn't seem to want to talk much about you. I mean, not that they didn't want to talk about you, but it felt like they didn't want to give me information about you."

Namping: "...Oh. Really?"

Win: "Yeah. Even when I asked what you liked, the answers were pretty vague. I’d ask things I was curious about... and even through text, you can feel a person’s mood, right? It felt... how should I put it... very sharp?"

Namping: "Uh... I wonder why."

Win: "I figured it was for the best, actually. Since I can just ask you directly."

Namping: "Yeah, Phi, ask me. I’ll tell you everything."

Q: You heard about your X from Win.

"Yes. No, I don't know why my X acted like that. ...Honestly, I don't really understand. Is it because of pride? I briefly wondered if it was jealousy, but I don't think that's it. I just don't know what they were thinking. My mood was just... okay. It wasn't exactly great."

Win and Namping follow the date course Win planned. They walk near central together, and as evening falls, they go to a high-end restaurant and clink cocktail glasses. Amidst the deepening conversation, Win asks Namping first.

Win: "Namping, do you think you still have feelings for your X?"

Namping: "Me? ...I’m not sure. To be honest, I came here because we broke up."

Win: "Right."

Namping: "So... rather than lingering feelings or missing the person I broke up with, I think the excitement of meeting new people is bigger for me."

Win: "Oh, really? Then it must be nice being with me."

Namping: (Laughs) "It’s very comfortable and nice being with you, Phi."

Win: "No excitement?"

Win asks subtly while leaning his glass toward Namping. Namping clinks his glass and smiles softly.

Namping: "Excitement... of course there is."

Win: "To be honest, I like you."

Namping: "I like you too, Phi."

Win: "I’m being sincere."

Namping: "...I’m being sincere too, really."

Win: (Laughs) "Okay. Let's agree that we're both sincere."

• "Oh, what? The atmosphere is no joke!"

• "Win looks extremely interested in Namping."

• "Namping is just shy right now, but he seems to really like him too."

• "But seriously, when you come on a show after a breakup and someone new treats you that well, it’s only natural to be attracted."

• "True. Definitely."

• "They look so good together. I hope it works out."

The two of them return home after the date. Namping and Win are the last members to arrive. Everyone else was waiting with food and alcohol piled on the living room table, ready for a second round. Seeing Namping’s cheeks slightly flushed, they ask if he’s been drinking. Namping puts his coat away and sits down.

Janistar: "Namping, did you drink a lot?"

Namping: "I didn't drink a lot, but I think the alcohol content was high."

Janistar: "Shouldn't you go rest a bit? Will you be okay?"

Namping: "Yes, I'm fine. P'Janis, did your date go well today?"

Janistar: "Yeah, do you know indoor rock climbing? I did that."

Namping: "Oh, really? That's intense. Must have been hard."

Janistar: "I like that kind of stuff, so it was fun."

Thomas: "Since everyone is here, let's toast."

They all sit around and clink glasses. At that moment, everyone’s phone pings with a text message.

Namping sits with his knees hugged to his chest, scanning his surroundings. His lips move slightly as he types out a text.

I had fun all day today thanks to you.

After sending the text, Namping downs his glass. Then, two texts ping on Namping’s phone simultaneously.

- Should we try something active next time? Your red face was cute.

- I’m here.

Seeing the two messages arrive at the same time, Namping’s expression freezes.

[Your X has chosen you.]

His mouth hangs open as a loud doorbell rings from outside at the same time. "The mail must be here!" Everyone gets up and starts moving around, but Namping sits alone, clutching his phone. With an expression of disbelief, he looks up. The member who went down first shouts, "Wait, it’s not mail, someone is here!"

Namping blinks and stands up.

With the sound of the door unlocking, a tall figure enters the house. As soon as they see the man wearing a coat and black glasses, the other members near the door wide their eyes in shock.
