soft snores. head resting on a pillow. albino hair fanning out across the fabric and a bit spilling over his cheeks. hands close to his face as Kaelix Debonair curls up on the couch of their living room, dozing away. he announced to the other two inhabitants of their joined home, Freodore and Seible that he would be taking a nap. Freo nodded in acknowledgment with a hum, snapping his book shut and diligently making his way up the stairs to his room. however, Seible lingered. hands skimming the wall as he took his sweet time towards the ascending stairs.
only to barely make it halfway up the stairs before sneaking down. peering around to watch Kaelix's sleeping form. he carefully walks around the couch, the carpet softening his foot falls. until he's right in front of the albino. Seible goes to squat before sitting down silently. strands of hair fall up and down with each breath and the brunette reaches over to tuck them behind Kaelix's ear. said man hums in his sleep, face nuzzling against his touch.
Seible's face heats up as his fingers twitch behind his boyfriend's ear. he caresses his cheek, a stupid smile growing on his face. I want to be more than sweethearts, his heart sings. beats faster with each thought of marriage. he and Kae chan has been dating a long while. he wasn't rushing anything! god, he just wanted to claim this man as his officially, with no one being able to snatch him away.
because who wouldn't a man with such an infectious laugh that has you laughing along? a smile so bright that it competes with the sun? hair like moon light incarnate as it billows in the wind? a voice so musical and beautiful, you wouldn't mind hearing it for the rest of your life? whose skin would flush adorably pink under even the smallest flirtations? who is so incredibly considerate and mindful of himself and others?
let's just say Seible is whipped. he wants that cookie bad. who could blame him? not when your boyfriend is this cute--
"Seible…"
snapped out of his thoughts, the brunette locks in on Kaelix's face. still peacefully sleeping. it appears he's talking in his sleep.
"love you…" Kaelix murmurs, still nosing Seible's hand. "want you close forever…"
Seible has to bite his lip hard to keep from making noises. how could he remain calm when his sweetheart is talking about him in his sleep?! this was no good for the brunette's heart. he just can't help but sidle closer, face centimeters from the sleeping one.
light and feathery kisses across his face. one for his forehead. one for his nose. one for each cheek. one for his jawline that elicited a slight shiver from Kaelix. the albino's breath stutters with each peck, and Seible can't stop from giggling into his hand to muffle himself.
Kaelix's eyebrows furrow deeply before reaching his arms out sluggishly to wrap around Seible's shoulders. Seible jumps, startled, but willingly allows him to be pulled onto the couch. legs tangled and arms tight around each other. breaths mingling as Kaelix's eyes flutter open and shut a few times.
"…how long…" a yawn. "have you been here…"
Seible shrugs playfully, nosing Kaelix's shoulder to inhale his scent. like sunshine and sunflowers. "dunno. you've been distracting me with your dashing looks."
Kaelix puffs a soft laugh, cheeks tinged pink. "pervert."
"who? who is this pervert?"
Kaelix chuckles again, eyes sliding shut as he slots his mouth against Seible's. they equally melt in each other's embraces. Seible cards through Kaelix's hair, earning a happy sigh from the taller. Kaelix clutches at Seible's back and hip, as if he were afraid the brunette would evaporate like smoke. that was hardly the case. not even a little bit.
their lips move gently against one another's, full of love with each shared breath. enveloped in the scent and warmth. Kaelix never wanted this feeling of security and being loved completely to ever go away. his heart races and he pulls away a bit to give a giddy laugh. eyes half lidded as his hand trails his boyfriend's slender form to his face. cups his cheek and his thumb swipes across his two beauty marks.
I love you, said the albino's eyes, blue and deep like the sea. with affection pouring out like an endless waterfall.
Seible's breath catches, red creeping up his neck and ears. he hides himself in Kaelix's chest. " I love you," said Seible, voice quaking with the overwhelming feeling of love. the love seeping from the cracks and letting itself be known.
be more than sweethearts, Seible's heart screams. who is he to deny it?
Seible's heart sounds louder than usual. it roars in his ears and he has to hum a comforting song to push it aside. but even then, his chaotic trains of thoughts would overtake that position.
marriage, marry, forever, vows. nonstop. the brunette couldn't even look at his boyfriend without erupting in blush. he really needs to lock in. Seible slaps his cheeks with a defiant hum. he must propose! he looks at his reflection in the mirror. nervousness bubbles up. should he…?
he stares at his reflection. a voice in his head answers yes. Seible nods firmly, adjusting his hair for the umpteenth time. he had been thinking all morning how to propose. after several hours of scrambling, Seible settled for proposing in the comfort of his own room. nothing too extravagant or too over the top. something genuine and safe fof both. he didn't want to pressure Kaelix or make him uncomfortable if he wasn't ready. Kae chan's well being is priority number one!

Seible inhales. exhales. swallows thickly. takes a sip of his water. stares at his door. here goes nothing!
Seible exits his room and walks over the Kaelix's door, which a few feet away. he raises his fist as if to knock but freezes. he curses himself and forces himself to rap his knuckles against the door. he can hear some shuffling from within before the door creaks open, Kae chan's blue eyes blinking at his boyfriend before crinkling with happiness.
"Sei chan," he adoringly says, opening the door wider. "did you want to come in?"
with a smile, the brunette shakes his head. "actually, i was hoping you'd come to mine."
Kaelix steps out and closes his door. "of course! i was quite bored, actually."
"that's perfect! i just wanted to ask you something," Seible says brightly, hoping his jitters weren't plain visible. he approaches his room door and opens it for Kaelix to enter.
"you can ask me anything!" Kaelix exclaims, sitting down on the brunette's floor. Seible follows suit, staring intensely at his boyfriend. "what is it?"
suddenly shy, Seible looks away. "it's just…"
cue a random bombard of random thoughts.
Seible shoots them all away in his mind.
"you mean so much to me, Kae chan. you make me smile everyday, and it always feels so warm by your side."
eh? Claude?
not important!
"I'm so happy to be your boyfriend. so incredibly happy even at the idea of holding your hand."
cute cats? maybe he and Kaelix could adopt one--
not now!
"but I'd be even happier if I were to take your hand instead."
Seible rises to his feet as Kaelix looks up at him in confusion. that adorable little puppy tilt and slight pout. it made Seible insane.
"Kaelix Debonair."
the albino jumps at his full name being announced. Seible drops to a knee. Kaelix's eyes widen and his breath hitches. the brunette fishes inside his pocket. then makes an elaborate show of displaying the tiny velvet box. eyes sparkling like a starry night.
"I'd love to take youd hand in marriage. so please…"
cheeks dusted with pink. Seible pops open the box, and inside is a glittering ring. a half moon and sun circling each other. Kaelix gasps.
"will you marry me?"
silence. breaths held. both faces heating up and matching the complexion of a tomato.
"yes," Kaelix finally breathes, a wobbly smile gracing his lips. his eyes get a little watery. "yes yes yes, a thousand times yes! gosh, Seible!"
Seible breaks out into a grin as he gingerly takes Kae chan's shaky hand. slides the ring right on. fits perfectly. Kaelix takes a moment to gawk at the ring, before looking right back at Seible who smiles so sweetly at him.
holding his face in his hands after he bends down, Seible presses a kiss to his now fiance's lips. a shuddery sigh from Kaelix as he sits up straighter from his seating position. a little whine when Seible deepens the kiss, tongue tracing his bottom lip. they break away, foreheads touching.
"i love you," Seible whispers.
"i love you," Kaelix whispers back, clutching at Seible's hands. "when's t-the honeymoon?"
Seible giggles, crouching down to rub his cheek against his future husband's. "after the wedding. we're going on a trip. just me and you."
"that sounds perfect," Kae chan sighs dreamily, kissing Seible's cheek. "have i told you how deeply in love i am with you right now?"
"you can show me on our honeymoon." a flirty wink.
Kaelix's mouth drops open and his eyes grow wide. a beautiful flush on his skin makes Seible smirk in victory. "Seible! oh, when i catch you Seible Jacob Nijisanji--!"
he lunges for his fiance's sides, tickling him. Seible bursts into shrieks, dancing away from Kaelix's paws. he ends up falling back onto the bed and Kaelix right on him.
"oh my Kae chan, maybe you didn't want to wait till the honeymoon after all?"
"stop making this situation more freaky than it actually is, you disgusting pervert!"
