Tanjirou is aware that his mates have been working really hard for the past couple of weeks in order for all of them to have a day off and take care of their omega.
He's pregnant, but it's just been a couple of days since he found out, so he can move around, walk, and even exercise as much as he wants. But his alphas are overprotective and want Tanjirou to be as relaxed as possible from day one.
Despite finding it a bit irritating at first, Tanjirou realizes that's just the way all the hashira express their love for him, so he purposely lets them all take care of him.
When he wakes up the next day, he purrs in delight after realizing that one of his mates is lying next to him in his nest. Muichiro is already awake, staring at him with adoration before he rubs their noses together.
The young alpha presses a gentle hand against Tanjirou's belly; he still has just a baby bump, not that obvious to the eyes, but it looks really cute in the Pillars' opinion.
"Are you alright? Do you need anything?" Muichiro asks, alpha's instincts kicking in as Tanjirou sits in the nest and stretches his arms up in the air.
"I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me."
"Morning sickness?"
Tanjirou shakes his head. His stomach makes a growling sound, revealing how hungry he is, actually. Immediately, the mist hashira stands up.
"I'll see if your breakfast is ready."
"Wait..." Tanjirou then frowns, realizing that someone is already preparing a meal for him.
After just a few minutes, Mitsuri and Obanai walk in with a huge tray full of delicious food. At first, he thinks the three of them are going to have breakfast together, but they both assure him it's all for him.
Strangely, his inner omega doesn't complain at all, and he begins to eat with a happy smile on his face. His cheeks turn slightly pink because he's enjoying the food so much that both alphas in the room sit at each side of him before nuzzling against him.
"Thank you!" Tanjirou mumbles after finishing his first three dishes. "Everything's delicious!"
Mitsuri purrs before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"It's our pleasure, love," Obanai assures him, taking one of the omega's hands before intertwining their fingers together.
After finishing his breakfast (Tanjirou surprises himself after noticing all the empty plates he left) he volunteers to clean everything, but none of them let him. Although they let him remove his nest himself.
Later, Tengen and his wives help him bathe and give him a massage; he hadn't realized how tired he was until then. They help him dress with a kimono the flamboyant alpha bought for him.
Then, he almost falls asleep once or twice when he feels Tengen gently brushing and braiding his hair.
Even though the omega refuses to sleep because it's the first time in weeks that all his alphas are with him at the same time, he feels so tired he allows Gyomei to take him in his arms, place him in his lap before falling asleep right then and there.
Fortunately, Tanjirou only sleeps for an hour and after that he starts happily chatting with the stone hashira. Gyomei nuzzles against the back of his head a couple of times before kissing his braid.
Shinobu shows him the new garden she planted herself for him. There's even a cherry blossom tree, happily growing in that part of the backyard already. Tanjirou loves it so much, he stays with her and drinks some tea while she explains to him how to take care of the flowers and the other plants.
Giyuu takes him to the river close to the village, where Tanjirou sits and gives in to the temptation of touching the water with his bare feet. He remembers how much his sibling enjoyed doing that as well.
His alpha sits next to him, allowing himself to relax a bit, but he's constantly looking around to make sure there are no threats near them.
Tanjirou comes back to the butterfly estate in Giyuu's arms and as soon as they get there, Sanemi appears to take him away from the other hashira.
He knows the omega likes to make his nest then, so he takes Tanjirou to his room and lets him work on it as he pleases; all the Pillars know that it's better to let Tanjirou do as wants because omegas are very sensible when it comes to others messing their nest.
Once he's done and the omega invites Sanemi to curl up next to him, the alpha nods, but tells him he has to go for lunch first. They both eat a bit before cuddling in the nest for a while.
When Kyojuro appears, Tanjirou is ready to get out again, but he knows his fiery alpha wants to carry in his arms as well, so he lets him despite being perfectly capable of walking on his own.
The flame hashira gives him a kiss on the tip of his nose before placing him on the backyard and helping him do some stretches; there's absolutely no need to touch the omega's legs or thighs in order to help him move because Tanjirou can do that himself, but he allows Kyojuro to keep going.
"They told me this is good for the pups."
It is, although it's not entirely necessary this early in the pregnancy, but Tanjirou doesn't have the heart to tell his mate that, besides, he's kind enjoying the stretches and the pressure of Kyojuro's fingers on his skin.
All of his alphas take him to the town's fair in the afternoon. Tanjirou loves seeing all the people and pups having a good time. Besides, the lights make the town look almost magical, and he ends up giggling after finding himself with arms full of gifts that the Pillars win for him.
They all climb up to the closest roof they find just in time to watch the fireworks together. Tanjirou smiles before giving all of his mates a kiss on the lips to let them know he's loving this moment with them.
He puts a gentle hand over his still small belly, and lets his pups know that they're lucky to have such good and kind sires.
"We can't wait to meet you all," he whispers to them before turning around and dancing for a while with his Pillars.
