To Whomever It No Longer Concerns

Summary:

Highschool AU of the Highcloud Quintet! The members meet in a high school in China and they lowkey just do shenanigans and stuff. The plot does get a bit sad tho so if you don't like angst don't eat. Not much canon material or spoilers to the actual plot of HSR but the characters still have the same personalities and stuff.

I think this is somewhat found family trope?? But I'm not too sure because there's yuri and yaoi. Also I'm going to update this stuff once every amber era so don't expect consistency, and I might not even have access to AO3 in a few months, so I'll try to speedrun the chapters when I have time. Also english is not my first language so pls forgive me if the writing is dookie!

Chapter Text

The world was covered in white the day Jingliu arrived at Shenhu High School. She could feel the icy air seep through her bones—like a warning for the storm to come. An early snow cursed the meant-to-be warm October, something even the weather forecasters couldn’t predict.

Jingliu trudged through the snow, fallen maple leaves still crunching under her feet. She gently brushed some snow off the gate’s name plate, and gazed up at the school behind it. 

Ahead was the building where she’d spend the next two years of her life.
