With Bowser and Bowser Jr. defeated and Peach’s Castle fully rebuilt, Rosalina wanted to explore the Mushroom World now that she had a lot of free time on her hands. Peach was more than happy to fulfill her wishes, and the two recently reunited sisters took a travel break, leaving the Mushroom Kingdom in Mario and Luigi’s capable hands. They were having a wonderful time, climbing the Rock-Candy Mines, sailing to the port town of Rogueport, and having a relaxing break on Yoshi’s Island.
The final stop on their trip was the neighboring kingdom of Sarasaland, which Peach had specifically saved for last.
“Whew, I feel like I’m melting,” said Rosalina, wiping sweat off her forehead as she trudged across the desert up to the Sarasaland Palace.
“Yeah, it’s pretty hot here,” Peach giggled, holding her parasol above them as protection from the sun’s rays, “You didn’t visit many desert worlds in space, did you?”
“No, I don’t do well in the heat,” Rosalina replied.
“Don’t worry, the palace has air conditioning,” Peach smiled, “The princess and I are good friends. She was the only human I knew here before Mario and Luigi showed up.”
“Really? What’s she like?” Rosalina asked.
“You’ll see,” Peach winked, knocking on the palace door.
The doors swung open, practically flying off their hinges, and out stepped the Princess of Sarasaland.
“Hey, Peach!” she yelled at a volume Rosalina previously thought impossible, wrapping her arms around Peach in a crushing hug, “So nice to see you! How are you?”
“Hi, Daisy,” Peach giggled, hugging Daisy back, “I’m doing just fine, thank you.”
“Who’s the girl next to you?” Daisy asked, “If I had known you were bringing someone, I’d have brought out food or something.”
“She’s actually why I’m here,” said Peach, “Daisy, meet my long-lost sister, Rosalina!”
“Whoa, I never knew you had a sister!” said Daisy, holding out her hand, “Hi, I’m Daisy!”
“Uh, Rosalina? Are you okay?” Peach asked.
Rosalina was fine, she was simply stunned into silence by the Sarasaland Princess. Daisy was, without a doubt, the prettiest girl she had ever seen, and considering Rosalina had visited hundreds of planets during her travels, that was saying something. She had faced down galactic-level threats, yet talking to beautiful women felt ten times harder to her.
“Um…hi,” Rosalina squeaked, “I-I’m Rosalina.”
“Pleasure to meet you!” Daisy grinned, grabbing Rosalina’s hand and shaking it firmly, “Come in, both of you! You’re going to catch heatstroke if you stay out in the heat with those dresses!”
Daisy hurried inside, pulling Rosalina along with her, with Peach following close behind. Thankfully, the palace interior was indeed much cooler than the outside, though Rosalina’s face still felt incredibly hot, just for different reasons.
“So, how did you find each other?” Daisy asked, sitting down at a table and pulling up two chairs next to her, “You’ve got to tell me everything!”
Rosalina was still in “gay panic brain freeze” mode, so Peach did all of the talking. Daisy was engrossed by Peach’s story, her eyes lighting up every time she heard about a crazy creature or a big battle, and audibly gasping at numerous points. She even wiped a couple tears from her eyes when she heard about how the two sisters reunited at long last.
“So, you both are from space?” Daisy gasped, “That’s so cool!”
“Well, I was sent to the Mushroom World when I was young,” said Peach, “Rosalina’s the one who’s lived in space all her life.”
“Ooh! So what’s it like living in space?” Daisy asked, practically jumping up and down in her seat.
“Well,” Rosalina breathed, pushing any intrusive lesbian thoughts to the back of her mind for the time being, “It’s…it’s a bit difficult to describe, since space is as natural to me as this planet likely is to you. I don’t really think about it all that much.”
“Gotcha,” Daisy nodded, “I’ve lived in the desert for all my life, so I don’t really think about how weird it must be to be surrounded by sand dunes.”
“Exactly,” said Rosalina, “But sometimes I sit on the edge of my Comet Observatory and look out at the stars, thinking about just how vast the universe truly is. I’ve been traveling the cosmos for over twenty years, yet I know I haven’t covered even a fraction of a percent of what’s out there.”
“Wow,” Daisy sighed happily, “What are some of the wildest planets you’ve been to?”
To Rosalina’s surprise, she found herself growing very comfortable with talking to Daisy. She told her just about everything she could remember, and Daisy was constantly asking questions or giving her own thoughts. Rosalina was so engrossed in their conversation that she almost forgot Peach was still there, leaning back in her chair with a big smile on her face as she watched her sister and best friend growing closer together.
“I’ve always wanted to go to space,” said Daisy, “You wouldn’t mind taking me there sometime, would you, Rosalina?”
“That’s not a bad idea,” Peach agreed, “We could have a fun girls’ night together at the Observatory. What do you say?”
“Uh, sure, why not?” Rosalina smiled, “I’m sure the Lumas would love to meet you.”
“Awesome!” Daisy cheered, throwing her arms around Rosalina’s shoulders and planting a big kiss on her cheek, “Thank you so, so much!”
“Umm…uh…,” Rosalina stammered, her gay panic rapidly taking over the rest of her brain.
“Oh, whoops! I forgot to prepare your rooms!” Daisy gasped, letting Rosalina go and running to the stairs, “Be back soon!”
Rosalina stood there in silence as she watched Daisy dash up the stairs, her face turning bright red.
“So, what do you think of Daisy?” Peach asked.
“Uh, she’s…,” Rosalina tried to answer, her heart pounding in her chest, “She’s…something.”
“I knew you’d like her,” Peach smiled, giving her sister a sly look, “But I didn’t think you’d like her that much!”
“W-what are you talking about?” Rosalina questioned, trying to hide her flustered state and failing miserably.
“Don’t worry, I’m not going to make fun of you,” Peach giggled softly, “I think you and Daisy would make an adorable couple!”
“Y-you think I’d have a chance with her?” Rosalina asked.
“Sure,” Peach nodded, “Daisy already seems to really like you, so why not? In fact, maybe I should sit out your space trip, so it’ll just be you and her.”
Rosalina pondered the idea. She really liked the idea of a girls’ night at the Comet Observatory with her sister, but on the other hand, a space date with just Daisy was very tempting.
“I’ll have to think about it,” Rosalina said just as Daisy came back down the stairs.
“Your rooms are ready!” Daisy called, grabbing Rosalina and Peach’s hands, “Come on, I’ll show you! You’ll love them, I just know it!”
As the three princesses hurried up the stairs, Rosalina gazed at Daisy, taking in her bright blue eyes, her sun-kissed skin, her full lips and her cheery grin. She’d only known her for a couple hours, and she already loved everything about her. By the time they reached the top of the stairs, Rosalina made her decision.
“Peach, your room’s on the left, and Rosalina’s is on the right,” said Daisy.
“Thank you very much,” Peach smiled, stepping into her room.
“Erm, Daisy? May I speak with you, please?” Rosalina asked.
“Sure thing,” Daisy replied, flashing her irresistible smile at Rosalina.
The two princesses walked into Rosalina’s room and sat down on the bed.
“About our space trip, um…,” said Rosalina, thinking carefully about each word she was going to say, “W-would it be alright if we went together, just the two of us? Peach already said she wouldn’t mind staying behind.”
Daisy looked surprised for a second, then her lips curled into a smirk.
“Rosalina, are you asking me out on a date?” she grinned cheekily.
“Y-yeah,” Rosalina nodded, “A space date, that is.”
Daisy’s grin widened, and she scooched right up against Rosalina, lacing their fingers together.
“Well, I normally wouldn’t go out with someone I just met, but you are really, really pretty,” Daisy purred, slowly inching her face closer and closer to Rosalina’s.
Rosalina’s brain practically froze as Daisy kissed her. The Sarasaland Princess’s lips felt so soft against hers, and her lips tasted as sweet as her personality, even without makeup. Rosalina gripped Daisy’s hands gently as she kissed her back, letting out all of her pent-up lesbian energy all at once.
“Mmm, you’re really good at this,” Daisy murmured, moving her hands up to grasp Rosalina’s shoulders while she kept kissing her, savoring the taste of Rosalina’s lipstick, “Have you kissed any girls in space before?”
“No, I haven’t,” Rosalina moaned softly against Daisy’s lips, kissing her again, “You’re my first.”
“Well, you’re going to get to kiss me a lot more on our space date,” Daisy laughed, pushing Rosalina down on the bed and diving in for another deep kiss.
“I’m looking forward to it,” Rosalina smiled, kissing Daisy passionately over and over again.
